Пролет российского наблюдательного самолета в закрытой зоне является «рутинным мероприятием», которое было осуществлено в рамках Договора по открытому небу. Об этом заявил официальный представитель Министерства обороны США, сообщает в четверг, 10 августа, «Интерфакс».
«В соответствии с требованиями договора, иностранные наблюдатели сами выбирают маршруты полетов, которые затем согласовываются с руководством страны, над которой они совершаются», — цитирует агентство представителя ведомства.
При этом сотрудник Пентагона пояснил, что наблюдательные полеты проходят под жестким контролем, и на борту иностранных самолетов находятся представители военных ведомств стран, над которыми они ведутся.
Несколько часов назад телеканал CNN показал кадры пролета самолета Ту-154 российских военно-космических сил над Капитолием и сообщил, что военные летчики России также были замечены над штаб-квартирой ЦРУ в Лэнгли, военно-воздушной базой ВМФ США Эндрюс и Белым домом, на высоте 3,7 тысячи футов (около 1,1 тысячи метров). Все это — закрытое для воздушных судов пространство. По данным CNN, российские военные осмотрели сверху любимую площадку Дональда Трампа для игры в гольф и пролетели над секретным бункером для властей США в Mount Weather. Тревогу подняли сотрудники американской полиции, увидевшие воздушное судно в запретной зоне.

Пролет российского наблюдательного самолета в закрытой зоне является «рутинным мероприятием», которое было осуществлено в рамках Договора по открытому небу. Об этом заявил официальный представитель Министерства обороны США, сообщает в четверг, 10 августа, «Интерфакс».
«В соответствии с требованиями договора, иностранные наблюдатели сами выбирают маршруты полетов, которые затем согласовываются с руководством страны, над которой они совершаются», — цитирует агентство представителя ведомства.
При этом сотрудник Пентагона пояснил, что наблюдательные полеты проходят под жестким контролем, и на борту иностранных самолетов находятся представители военных ведомств стран, над которыми они ведутся.
Несколько часов назад телеканал CNN показал кадры пролета самолета Ту-154 российских военно-космических сил над Капитолием и сообщил, что военные летчики России также были замечены над штаб-квартирой ЦРУ в Лэнгли, военно-воздушной базой ВМФ США Эндрюс и Белым домом, на высоте 3,7 тысячи футов (около 1,1 тысячи метров). Все это — закрытое для воздушных судов пространство. По данным CNN, российские военные осмотрели сверху любимую площадку Дональда Трампа для игры в гольф и пролетели над секретным бункером для властей США в Mount Weather. Тревогу подняли сотрудники американской полиции, увидевшие воздушное судно в запретной зоне.

The city’s history began with the construction of the Kremlin which lay at the very heart of the city and was for centuries Russia’s spiritual and political centre. A fascinating cruise travels across numerous rivers, canals and lakes within the heart of the former Tsar’s realm, past monasteries and timber built churches. In Uglič the Dimitrijvskaija Church is crowned with blue, onion-shaped domes that are adorned with stars. The red colour of the church is a symbol of bloodshed and the incidents that once occurred at this place of death gave rise to a time of confusion. St. Petersburg, known also as the Venice Of The North, contains splendid buildings such as the Winter Palace and the Eremitage. Twenty four thousand tree stumps were used for the foundation of Isaaks Cathedral that can accommodate a congregation of fourteen thousand. In Port Baikal is the modern Circum-Baikal train that takes a full day to travel around Lake Baikal and is one of the most difficult sections of the Trans-Siberian Railroad that travels from Moscow to as far as Vladivostok. Russia is huge and its nature, culture, immense contrast and dramatic history have formed the fascinating and colourful Russian soul.

To the English, Russia is a place of mystery, danger and secrecy and defiantly not a holiday destination. So when a chance to visit St Petersburg came my way, I signed up without a moment’s hesitation. This guide explores an Englishman’s preconceived ideas about Russia and Russian culture.
I think I learnt a lot on my visit, and although I only know a few words in Russian they certainly came in handy more than once.
During my visit in October 2006 I took a lot of photos and turned them into this in depth travel guide.

On the southern outskirts of Brooklyn, just down the boardwalk from Coney Island, the peaceful ocean waves once drew waves of immigrants from a tumultuous past. Refugees from the former Soviet Union. After the Cold War ended in the '90s, an influx of Russians settled on the shores of the city.
Brighton Beach, nicknamed Little Odessa after the Ukrainian city on the Black Sea, boasts the largest Russian-speaking population in the United States. Here, you may feel you need a translator, or a tour guide, like Dave Garbarskiy.
Onward down Brighton Beach Avenue, at M & I International Food, locals stock up on fresh-made breads and other provisions. While there, also sample Russian-style eats like cured cold cuts, variations of pickled fish, and Pir-oj-ki: fried pastries with either a savory or a sweet-filled center.
Fresh apricot or mango juices often accompany meals at cafes, and you can sample a variety of dishes for under ten dollars.
Of course everyone in Russia needs a fur coat, and maybe a fox fur hat, as warm as they are stylish. Luckily, David's uncle owns a store down the street!
When you commit to long train rides to the outskirts of New York City, you'll be amazed by the things you discover. It's not necessarily that Brighton Beach looks like Russia - it looks like any other neighborhood in Brooklyn. What makes it Russian is the people you meet, the sound of the language and the music in the streets, the foods you get to sample - that's what gives it the vibe that you're somewhere else outside of the United States.

Brighton Beach, nicknamed Little Odessa after the Ukrainian city on the Black Sea, boasts the largest Russian-speaking population in the United States. Here, you may feel you need a translator, or a tour guide, like Dave Garbarskiy.
Onward down Brighton Beach Avenue, at M & I International Food, locals stock up on fresh-made breads and other provisions. While there, also sample Russian-style eats like cured cold cuts, variations of pickled fish, and Pir-oj-ki: fried pastries with either a savory or a sweet-filled center.
Fresh apricot or mango juices often accompany meals at cafes, and you can sample a variety of dishes for under ten dollars.
Of course everyone in Russia needs a fur coat, and maybe a fox fur hat, as warm as they are stylish. Luckily, David's uncle owns a store down the street!
When you commit to long train rides to the outskirts of New York City, you'll be amazed by the things you discover. It's not necessarily that Brighton Beach looks like Russia - it looks like any other neighborhood in Brooklyn. What makes it Russian is the people you meet, the sound of the language and the music in the streets, the foods you get to sample - that's what gives it the vibe that you're somewhere else outside of the United States.
