Plot: Mahima lives a middle-class lifestyle with her parents, Pooja and music teacher,Gautam. She is in love with a young man, Anuraag, whose foster father, Pratap, is very friendly with Gautam. Both Gautam and Pratap arrange to get the youngsters married, however, when they arrive at Pratap's house, they are met with open hostility by Pratap's wife, Shanti, her sons, Sukhpal, Shripal, and their respective wives Shobha and Suman, and do not approve of her as she did not bring in any dowry. Nevertheless, Mahima, a devotee of Devi Maa Santoshi, decides to win them over with her love and hard work. Then Anuraag is accused of stealing one Lakh rupees from the family's electronic showroom, he vehemently denies this, and even offers to leave for Bombay, earn the money and then return. After his departure, Mahima is abused, belittled, and treated like a servant. Things come to climax when Pratap becomes paralyzed due to an accident, which is blamed on Mahima; then two gold bangles go missing and Mahima is accused of stealing them; and finally Mahima is caught in a compromising position with Randhir, Suman's brother.

Plot: Laila, brought up in a brothel, is a cabaret dancer in Digvijay Singh's five star hotel. On day her dying mother informs her that Laila is her adopted child. Laila is aided by Karan in her search for the mother. Her search leads her to Razia, who divulges that eighteen years ago, there were three naughty little girls in her college Barkha, Salma and Raj. They were in love with their boyfriends and one of them delivered a baby girl. Each of the three looked after the baby as if it were her own. The baby was later handed over to Razia. Now all three girls are leading their own lives and have a god standing in society. But Laila is determined to bring them together to seek answers from them and find acceptance at the hands of her real mother.

Plot: The sequel to the blockbuster hit Nadodikkattu (1987). Just six months after the events of the prequel, C.I.D. Ramdas (Mohanlal) and C.I.D. The two incompetent and clueless men find themselves facing a dangerous crime syndicate that deals in drug trafficking. In addition, Anandan Nambiar (Thilakan), the man they put behind bars in Nadodikkattu (1987), escapes from jail. Pattana Pravesham is a well-scripted mix of light comedy and poignant drama, just like its prequel. Another Malayalam classic from director Sathyan Anthikad.

Plot: Shekawat is unhappy that his parents have willed their estate, and wealth to his sister, Sonali, and her husband, Pramod. He devises a plot which will enable him to get the wealth. His sister gives birth to a son, and Pramod overhears him instructing his men to kill the child, and runs away with him. His men run Pramod down, and believe they killed him, but Pramod survives and hands the child, Amit, over to Sudha and her husband, who already have a daughter named Ayusha. Pramod then goes into a coma. Shekhawat gets his sister to sign over the estate in his name, and marries a wealthy but devout woman named Shobha, who subsequently gives birth to a son named Babla. Years later, the children have now grown up. Ayusha and Babla are attracted to each other, and their respective families approve of their marriage. The only one who is opposed to this marriage is Pramod, who has now recovered, only to find out that he must first go through Amit, his very own son, who is not prepared to believe any story against Shekhawat.

Plot: Time begets History - it may be at the war front, at a nation or of a household. Joginder Singh was a dedicated Police Officer of Commissioner rank. He had his wife, two sons Vijay and Rakesh and daughter Jyoti. One day when Rakesh arrested Kalicharan, henchman of Alexander the kingpin of the underworld, Joginder Singh was slightly disturbed. He was even more disturbed when he came to know of the release of Kalicharan on account of his sons mercy appeal. As if this was not enough, Alexander himself was trapped by Police and the anger and ill will against Joginder Singh Commissioner of Police reached its climax. Alexander got himself free on bail and to take revenge from Joginder Singh, abducted his daughter Jyoti and molested her. When Joginder Singh was informed by Kalicharan's son about the tragedy, he rushed and killed a man present on the scene of tragedy thinking him to be responsible for the act.

Plot: Shankarlal's dying wife asks his younger brother, Chandrashekhar, to marry an orphan named Laxmi, to which Chandrashekhar reluctantly agrees. They do get married, and soon have three children, a girl and two boys. Chandrashekhar's elder brother, Madhu, triumphantly returns home as the local District Collector, & marries wealthy Chamanlal's daughter, Shobha, while Ravi is romancing his beautiful neighbor, Neelu. Things look pretty good for this family, when the mill where Chandrashekhar is employed with goes on strike. The mill-owner sells the mill to Rani Padmavati, who first of all wants Chandrashekhar to be fired before she can even consider the workers' demands. The workers go on an indefinite hunger strike until Chandrashekhar decides to quit his job and re-locates to the city to look for work. In the meantime, misunderstandings crop up between Shobha and the rest of the family, and she and Madhu leave the house to live with Chamanlal. Chandrashekhar is unable to find any employment as Rani Padmavati refuses to give him a reference and on the contrary uses her influence to ensure that he never gets employed. Crestfallen and defeated, Chandrashekhar returns home to find out that the Rani had colluded with the local money-lenders and has taken over their land and property. Then the police arrest Chandrashekhar on the complaint filed by the Rani on the charge of stealing from his former employer. On the verge of losing her ill son, Laxmi, now penniless, must now find out why Rani Padmavati has taken it upon herself to ruin this family,
