Korea's leading construction company, Hyundai Engineering and Construction, won its third contract in Venezuela on Monday. The company says it has sealed a four-point-eight-four billion U.S. dollar contract to expand a refinery for state-run oil company PDVSA... in conjunction with affiliate Hyundai Engineering and China's Wison Engineering. Hyundai E&C; owns the majority of the deal,...with a share of 73-percent. The order calls for an expansion and upgrade of existing refineries. The facility is located about 2-hundred-fifty kilometers from the capital Caracas... and the project is expected to take around four years. Hyundai E&C; entered Latin America in 2010 and Venezuela two years ago.

Hyundai Engineering’s Myung Su, Han & Ji Yeon, Park won First Place in the Animation Category of the Golden Valve Awards. In this video, existing areas to be modeled were captured by laser scanning. Using CloudWorx™ for Intergraph Smart™ 3D, 3D models of the scanned areas were created in Smart 3D and then the video was produced with SmartPlant® Review based on the derived 3D models. Only Intergraph® solutions were used for this project.
This car had issues. I don't want to drag the chassis preparation out into 13 videos so I put it all right here. This is the first Jafromobile 1-hour special. Really it's 20 hours, but I won't make you sit through all that. This is the video where you'll see the direction of the Hyundai project come together. In previous videos I showed the 2 factors that really need to be scrutinized. Valve clearance and how you degree your camshafts. Of course we got sidetracked with plenty of other tips and tricks but I wanted to upload this video to illustrate that the process really isn't as easy as the animations, demonstrations and explanations make it look. The reasoning is sound, but the work to execute it can be very tedious. Setting up the valvetrain on this engine was very tedious. I say "was" because following this video, we can put that whole topic to bed. This is what it took.
