The Devil Inside is a 2012 American supernatural horror film directed by William Brent Bell, and written by Bell and Matthew Peterman. It is a documentary-style film about a woman who becomes involved in a series of exorcisms during her quest to determine what happened to her mother, a woman who murdered three people as a result of being possessed by a demon. Produced by Peterman and Morris Paulson, the film stars Fernanda Andrade, Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth, and Suzan Crowley, and was released theatrically on January 6.
The film topped the US box office on its opening weekend, yet dropped drastically in the second week, before disappearing completely from the box office top ten. Despite critical disdain, it was a huge commercial success and grossed roughly $101 million.
On October 30, 1989, Maria Rossi (Suzan Crowley) committed a triple murder during an exorcism performed on her. The Catholic Church became involved, and she has since been in a Catholic psychiatric hospital in Rome. A news story and police investigation show the three members of the clergy whom she murdered. Her daughter, Isabella, learned of the murders from her father, who died three days after telling her.
The Devil Inside is a horror-themed third-person shooter video game developed by Gamesquad and published by Cryo Interactive for the PC Windows in 2000.
The Devil Inside is presented as a reality television game show documenting the supernatural exploits of the protagonist Dave and his titular alter ego, a succubus named Deva. The player can transform between Dave and Deva by activating pentagrams located at certain places throughout the game's levels. During gameplay, Dave/Deva is followed by a small flying camera as well as a cameraman, and the player can switch between the two camera views as desired. Occasionally, a news helicopter will also be present and scripted cutscenes will be viewed from an aerial perspective.
The pacing, exploration, and puzzle factor of the game is similar to that of other survival horror titles. As Dave, the player has access to a variety of guns, which are equipped with laser sights to assist the player in aiming. As Deva, the player uses spells to attack enemies. Spells do not require ammunition, but do deplete mana that regenerates slowly. Some enemies generate souls when killed, and Deva can inhale souls to replenish her mana. Deva also has the ability to fly and regenerate health when standing in fire. The game uses a checkpoint save system represented by television sets found in-game.
The devil (from Greek: διάβολος or diábolos = slanderer or accuser) is believed in many religions, myths and cultures to be a supernatural entity that is the personification of evil and the archenemy of God and humankind. The nature of the role varies greatly, ranging from being an effective opposite force to the creator god, locked in an eons long struggle for human souls on what may seem even terms (to the point of dualistic ditheism/bitheism), to being a comical figure of fun or an abstract aspect of the individual human condition.
While mainstream Judaism contains no overt concept of a devil, Christianity and Islam have variously regarded the devil as a rebellious fallen angel or jinn that tempts humans to sin, if not committing evil deeds himself. In these religions – particularly during periods of division or external threat – the devil has assumed more of a dualistic status commonly associated with heretics, infidels, and other unbelievers. As such, the devil is seen as an allegory that represents a crisis of faith, individualism, free will, wisdom and enlightenment.
The Devil (XV) is the fifteenth trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks. It is used in game playing as well as in divination.
In the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the Devil is derived in part from Eliphas Levi's famous illustration "Baphomet" in his Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie (1855). In the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the Devil has harpy feet, ram horns, bat wings, a reversed pentagram on the forehead, a raised right hand and lowered left hand with a torch. He squats on a square pedestal with two naked human demons—one male, one female, with tails who are chained to it. Baphomet has bird wings, goat horns, a raised right hand, lowered left hand, breasts and a torch on his head and also combines human and animal features. Many modern Tarot decks portray the Devil as a satyr-like creature. According to Waite, the Devil is standing on an altar.
In pre-Eliphas Levi Tarot decks like the Tarot of Marseille, the devil is portrayed with breasts, a face on the belly, eyes on the knees, lion feet and male genitalia. He also has bat-like wings, antlers, a raised right hand, a lowered left hand and a staff. Two creatures with antlers, hooves and tails are bound to his round pedestal.
The Devil is a figure in some religions, particularly Abrahamic ones.

The third season of Medium, an American television series, began November 15, 2006, and ended on May 16, 2007. It aired on NBC.
Season 3 was supposed to begin mid season, but NBC canceled the show Kidnapped and it began airing that November. This season was a brutal one, as Joe's office gets taken over by a madman who kills several co-workers and Allison gets exposed by a woman claiming to be out of town while all along she is a reporter. As usual, the first 15 or so episodes all deal with Allison solving crimes for the DA, but then things turn ugly as mentioned above in the episode Joe Day Afternoon he gets held up in his office and several co-workers get their lives taken. When Joe finally goes back to work, he has a hard time dealing with it. Lawyers call and offer him and each of the victims settlements, but eventually Joe leaves DyTech Industries. Meanwhile, Allison doesn't realize that the serial killer she is trying to catch has another helper and he gets out of jail. Debra, friendly at first turns out to be a very nasty lady and exposes Allison. After all is said and done Debra wouldn't listen to Allison and loses her life to the same serial killer. At the end of the season, both Devalos and Allison lose their jobs as the new DA Van Dyke takes over and this season leaves the viewer with a huge cliff hanger as to what Scanlon, Devalos, Joe, and Allison will do next season.
In twilight
Where rain and gray aren't innocent
None of us are
Shadow life
The light is dim and paranoid
This is all we have
Now we leave this place
Between the light and the dark there's a comfortable grey
From all I've known I'm leaving today
Don't make me turn away
When the Light comes (from far away)
I'm closing my eyes in shadow
When Darkness takes me (so far away)
I look for the Light and find that you can't have both
I look around
See through myself and to the ground
For I am empty
What I have
It's all I've got and is the cause of pain within me
Now we leave this place
Between the light and the dark there's a comfortable grey
From all I've known I'll have to part ways
I won't go through this, the divorce is too great
I will not let go of all I've never wanted
Must I turn away my only hope to see the day?
