Fly by Night is the second studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in February 1975. Contrary to their previous album, which featured a much more hard rock sound, this album was the first to showcase the progressive rock sound that the band has become renowned for. This release was also the first to feature long-time drummer Neil Peart.
After the departure of John Rutsey, who retired from the band due to diabetes and dislike of touring, the band recruited Neil Peart as his replacement. As such, this album marks Neil Peart's first recording with the band. Peart also became the band's main lyricist, leading the band to adopt a more literary lyrical style that differed significantly from their self-titled debut album. The songs "By-Tor & the Snow Dog" and "Rivendell" are examples of the inclusion of fantasy themes into Rush's music. The line-up of Peart, bassist and singer Geddy Lee, and guitarist Alex Lifeson has remained the same ever since.
"By-Tor & the Snow Dog" was inspired by Rush roadie Howard Ungerleider's story of him staying at Anthem records manager Ray Danniels's house, where Danniels's German Shepherd growled at him, and a tiny dog also owned by Danniels tried to jump on him. Ungerleider told the band members about the incident, which they found hilarious.
The laws of Australian rules football describe the rules of the game of Australian rules football as they have evolved and adapted, with the same underlying core rules, since 1859.
The current laws consist of an extensive document titled "Laws of Australian Football", which contains the rules and interpretations of the game, and is managed and administered by the Australian Football League.
The rules were first formed by the Melbourne Football Club, chaired by Tom Wills in 1859. The laws significantly predate the advent of a governing body for the sport. The first national and international body, the Australasian Football Council, was formed in 1905 to govern Australian Football. Since 1994, the rules for the game known as Australian football have been governed by the AFL and the organisation's Laws of the Game committee.
18 players are permitted to take the field for each team, with an additional four players on an interchange bench (although this number often varies in exhibition and practice matches). The equipment needed to play the game is minimal. As in other kinds of football, players wear boots with stops (known as "cleats" or "studs" in some regions) in the soles, shorts, and a thick, strong shirt or jumper known as a guernsey, normally sleeveless, although long sleeve jumpers are sometimes worn in very cold weather by some players.
Beneath is a preposition
Beneath may also refer to:
A superb porformance of Beneath, Between & Behind (originally from thier album "Fly BY Night" 1975) from thier second live album "Exit...Stage Left" from 1981. This was recorded in the UK during the Permanent Waves tour in 1980. It is the only song in Rush's catalog that is written by only Peart and Lifeson, without Lee's influence. The song is about the discovery of America and the birth of the nation. It refers to the rapid growth, immigration, wars, and the American Dream. According to Geddy Lee on VH1-Classic's "Hanging With", this was the first Rush song with lyrics written by Neil Peart.
A great oldie from Fly By Night ... enjoy, or not as the case may be :)
An oldie but a goodie!
Beneath the noble birth Between the proudest words Behind the beauty, cracks appear... Beneath Between and Behind off of the Fly By Night album as suggested by marcbassist666.
Hi, sorry about my bad camera. This is how I've been playing this song so far. My camera is no good for this kind of thing but it's all I have. If it sounds good enough, let me know if you want to see how certain parts go(the way I'm doing it anyway) and I will try to make a slow mo of the part. Next time I will have newer stings that are tuned a little better, these things are old!

It was then exported in 320kbs mp3 and rendered in 1080p for the highest Youtube audio quality possible. Although this mix is not as different from the original as Signals was, it's still a significant improvement. The drums are clearer and fatter, and the overall mix seems more spacious and crisp with some ambiance/reverb added. I can't tell if the vocal tracks are identical or different takes were used, some parts sound the same, others sound a bit different. Obviously listening to the DVD on a proper ...
