A globe is a three-dimensional, spherical, scale model of Earth (terrestrial globe or geographical globe) or other celestial body such as a planet or moon. While models can be made of objects with arbitrary or irregular shapes, the term globe is used only for models of objects that are approximately spherical. The word “globe” comes from the Latin word globus, meaning round mass or sphere. Some terrestrial globes include relief to show mountains and other features on the Earth’s surface.
There are also globes, called celestial globes or astronomical globes, which are spherical representations of the celestial sphere, showing the apparent positions of the stars and constellations in the sky.
Flat maps are created using a map projection that inevitably introduces an increasing amount of distortion the larger the area that the map shows. A globe is the only representation of the Earth that does not distort either the shape or the size of large features – land masses, bodies of water, etc.
A robot is a mechanical or virtual artificial agent, usually an electro-mechanical machine that is guided by a computer program or electronic circuitry. Robots can be autonomous or semi-autonomous and range from humanoids such as Honda's Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility (ASIMO) and TOSY's TOSY Ping Pong Playing Robot (TOPIO) to industrial robots, medical operating robots, patent assist robots, dog therapy robots, collectively programmed swarm robots, UAV drones such as General Atomics MQ-1 Predator, and even microscopic nano robots. By mimicking a lifelike appearance or automating movements, a robot may convey a sense of intelligence or thought of its own.
The branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing is robotics. These technologies deal with automated machines that can take the place of humans in dangerous environments or manufacturing processes, or resemble humans in appearance, behavior, and/or cognition. Many of today's robots are inspired by nature contributing to the field of bio-inspired robotics. These robots have also created a newer branch of robotics: soft robotics.
Open Air was BBC1's flagship programme for their new daytime service which began on 27 October 1986. In 1987 an additional early morning episode was added, following the end of Breakfast Time, to help promote and inform viewers what topics would be covered in the main edition.
Open Air had similarities to Channel 4's programme Right to Reply, as it discussed all aspects of television and also tried to answer any questions which viewers had. Unlike Right to Reply, Open Air was transmitted live each weekday and had live phone-ins. The series covered all television channels and would often have programme makers and television management explaining their actions. It ended in 1990, after 4 series.
distinguish|broadcast programming}}
A television program is a segment of content intended for broadcast on vision, other than a commercial, trailer, or any other segment of content not serving as attraction for viewership. It may be a single production, or more commonly, a series of related productions (also called a television series).
A television series that is intended to comprise a limited number of episodes may be called a miniseries or serial. Series without a fixed length are usually divided into seasons or series, yearly or semiannual sets of new episodes. While there is no defined length, US industry practice tends to favor longer seasons than those of some other countries.
A one-time broadcast may be called a "special," or particularly in the UK a "special episode." A television film ("made-for-TV movie" or "television movie"), is a film that is initially broadcast on television rather than released in theaters or direct-to-video.
A program can be either recorded, as on video tape, other various electronic media forms, played with an on-demand player or viewed on live television.

German Aerospace Center (DLR) Robotics and Mechatronics Center are developing an Autonomous Humanoid Robot (Justin) with Model-Based Design. In this approach, instead of writing thousand lines code just makes the model of system with the help of Simulink and MatLab automatically will generate the corresponding code. Since October 2012, Gael Langevin has been building the InMoov robot step-by-step. Starting with an Arduino-controlled hand and forearm, the robot slowly came to life. The InMoov robot’s “skin,” joints, gears and many other pieces have been 3D printed. Since 2012 people all over the globe have been printing and building the Inmoov robot. Right now parts of the InMoov are even being "hacked"to use as prosthetics. Truly amazing. Wevolver invited Gael to come to the 2014 Arduino Day in Amsterdam to show and tell about his InMoov robot, since we are huge fans! What is rational thought? What is human nature? Unpredictable Behaviour is a startling take on the intellect of man through the eyes of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s two most beloved characters. In 6 short minutes, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson unravel the mystery of Jack the Ripper for good, delivering an end¬ing that’s haunting, unnerving, and well, unpredictable. Unpredictable Behaviour is an animation project borne from an intimate, yet global collaboration. While the film was entirely written and produced by only two art¬ists, Pasha Shapiro and Ernst Weber live on opposite sides of the globe, namely San Francisco and Berlin.

Watch Adicolor Yellow Now ►[[[^^http://smarturl.it/xvykl6^^]]] Yellow or Adicolor Yellow is a 2006 futuristic short film by director Neill Blomkamp, written by Terri Tatchell and Blomkamp. It was produced at the request of sportswear maker Adidas as a part of its "Adicolor" viral ads campaign, in which advertising agency Idealogue gathered seven directors, assigning a different color to each of them, and asked them to produce a feature based on their emotional and creative response to the given color, later to be distributed in the form of podcasts. The four-minute film, shot by Trent Opaloch in Blomkamp's usual handheld camera mockumentary style, deals with an Israeli robotic globe-trotter gone rogue. #Adicolor Yellow
MR. ROBOT is a rare treat - a network television show whose hacker protagonist is a fully realized character with a realistically attainable set of skills. No hyper-typing, no gibberish masquerading as tech jargon, no McGuffins to magically paper over plot holes with hacker dust. MR. ROBOT takes the tech as seriously as the drama. One of the main reasons for this verisimilitude is the work of Kor Adana, MR. ROBOT's advisor on all things hackish. His fingerprints are on every terminal window in the show. Another advisor to the show is our very own CJunky - known to the outside world as hacker and raconteur Marc Rogers. Join Dark Tangent for a panel discussion of MR. A longplay of Mega Man 8. Mega Man 8, known as Rockman 8: Metal Heroes in Japan, was released for the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn from 1996-1997 and is the eighth game in the classic Mega Man series. The game is the first in the classic series to feature anime-style full-motion videos (FMV) in order to tell the story and is the first and only game (aside from the DOS game Mega Man 3) in which Mega Man is capable of swimming. The game also marks the tenth anniversary (1987-1997) of the Mega Man franchise, and limited copies were released with a color history booklet called "Mega Man Anthology" celebrating the series' history.
