Dallas (/ˈdæləs/) is a major city in the state of Texas and is the largest urban center of the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States. The city proper ranks ninth in the U.S. and third in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. The city's prominence arose from its historical importance as a center for the oil and cotton industries, and its position along numerous railroad lines. The bulk of the city is in Dallas County, of which it is the county seat; however, sections of the city are located in Collin, Denton, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. According to the 2010 United States Census, the city had a population of 1,197,816. The United States Census Bureau's estimate for the city's population increased to 1,281,047, as of 2014.
Fast Track is an informal English phrase meaning "the quickest and most direct route to achievement of a goal, as in competing for professional advancement. By definition, it implies that a less direct, slower route also exists.".
Fast Track may also refer to:
Off Track is a 1991 Hong Kong action drama film directed by Cha Chuen-yee and starring Jacky Cheung, Max Mok, Loletta Lee and Ellen Chan. The film was followed by a sequel in 1995, titled Highway Man, which featured a different storyline.
Joe (Max Mok) is a car fanatic and co-owns an auto repair shop. One time in an illegal street race, Joe collides with Lui (Jacky Cheung) and the two of them were arrested. Since then, Lui and Joe had become enemies. Lui's father (Wu Ma) is a seasoned police officer who goes by his principles and detains his own son, and thus, their relationship had grown very sour, and Lui also increases his hatred towards Joe.. On the other hand, Joe meets Ann (Loletta Lee) and falls in love her. However, Joe discovers that Ann is actually Lui's younger sister, and Lui tries to destroy their relationship. At first, Joe resisted Lui for the sake of Ann, but Lui becomes increasingly aggressive. Knowing that this all started because of her, Ann reluctantly breaks up with Joe. However, Joe refuses to step and negotiates with Lui to settle in a car race with a bet of HK$500,000. During the race, Lui dashes into the ocean. Lui's underling, Bull (Karel Wong), who thinks that Lui is dead, takes Ann hostage to threaten Joe in order to avenge his boss. Joe rushes to save Ann, but was no match for Bull. In this critical occasion, Lui returns with a full body of blood.
The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas or informally UTD) is a public research university in the University of Texas System. The main campus is in the Richardson, Texas, Telecom Corridor, 18 miles (29 km) north of downtown Dallas. The institution, established in 1961 as the Graduate Research Center of the Southwest and later renamed the Southwest Center for Advanced Studies (SCAS), began as a research arm of Texas Instruments. In 1969, the founders bequeathed SCAS to the state of Texas, and Governor Preston Smith signed the bill officially creating The University of Texas at Dallas.
The 2015 edition of the Carnegie Foundation classifies UT Dallas as a highest research activity institution. Research projects include the areas of Space Science, Bioengineering, Cybersecurity, Nanotechnology, Behavioral and Brain Sciences. The University of Texas at Dallas offers more than 138 academic programs across its eight schools and hosts more than 50 research centers and institutes. With a number of interdisciplinary degree programs, its curriculum is designed to allow study that crosses traditional disciplinary lines and to enable students to participate in collaborative research labs. Average math and critical reading SAT scores for entering freshmen were 1257 for 2015 — among the highest of the public universities in Texas.

Effigies of modern architecture rise like glass trees out of the downtown area. In 1841, it was simply a plan of 20 streets on the 256 hectares (640 acres) of south central America, claimed by a Tennessee lawyer, John Neely Bryan. Today, it is the ninth largest city in the USA, and including its western neighbour of Fort Worth, it is the nation's fastest growing metropolitan area. Thriving at the bottom edge of America's Great Plains, Dallas has embraced dreamers and entrepreneurs for the better part of two centuries. Big D, as it's affectionately called, merges Southern hos...

FTBA 2013 FTBA went into the year with some simple goals – Keep It Simple. KIS it was not, we introduced the JWM2013 and a Club camp, plus put riders into polar opposites conditions with challenging to absolutely perfect swell and winds. We did how ever meet our goal for development and education. 3 riders trained up in Judging (level 1) and 15 members attended the coaching session provided by Da Boogie Man and Ryan Hardy Bodyboard School. We planted our feet in the sand and were showing development and progression from round 1 through out the year, all riders have shown massive growth. The introduction of Jeff Wilcox Memorial most found encouraging yet challenging. We are excited with rebuilding this event and have big dreams for future years from the event and our members. "I want something that goes from 0 to 200 in 4 seconds or less. And my birthday is coming up. You could surprise me." So, for her birthday, he bought her a brand new bathroom scale.
