Grrr or grr is an onomatopoeia for growling.
Grrr may also refer to:
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. The first settled line-up consisted of Brian Jones (guitar, harmonica), Ian Stewart (piano), Mick Jagger (lead vocals, harmonica), Keith Richards (guitar), Bill Wyman (bass) and Charlie Watts (drums). Stewart was removed from the official line-up in 1963 but continued as an occasional pianist until his death in 1985. Jones departed the band less than a month prior to his death in 1969, having already been replaced by Mick Taylor, who remained until 1975. Subsequently, Ronnie Wood has been on guitar in tandem with Richards. Following Wyman's departure in 1993, Darryl Jones has been the main bassist. Other notable keyboardists for the band have included Nicky Hopkins, active from 1967 to 1982; Billy Preston through the mid 1970s (most prominent on Black and Blue) and Chuck Leavell, active since 1982. The band was first led by Jones but after teaming as the band's songwriters, Jagger and Richards assumed de facto leadership.
"Doom and Gloom" is the lead single taken from GRRR!, the 50th anniversary compilation album by The Rolling Stones. It was premiered on BBC Radio 2 on 11 October 2012. The song marks the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have been in the studio together for seven years, since the recording of their last album, A Bigger Bang. A lyric video was released on YouTube the same day.
The song charted at #61 on the UK Singles Chart, #26 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and #30 on the Billboard Rock Songs chart in October 2012.
Rolling Stone named "Doom and Gloom" the eighteenth best song of 2012.
The song was played in the end credits to A Good Day to Die Hard.
The song's opening riff is played by Jagger. Richards commented on Jagger being the driving force behind the song and Jagger playing the opening riff: "I don't give a damn. He'd never have learned how to play that without me teaching him how to do it."
A music video for the song was released on 20 November 2012 and was directed by Jonas Åkerlund at the Cité du Cinéma in Saint-Denis starring Noomi Rapace.

The campaign was created and managed by the advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy (W+K). The commercial won six Pencils (including two Black Pencils) at the D&AD; Awards 2005.

Amstel film asked us to create a leader for their new cinema concept 'We Want Cinema' WWC is a concept which makes it possible to see classic movies back in the cinema again. This is done by giving the audience the opportunity to choose a film from a large library and promote this along their friends. If you have enough support, it will show in the theatre. Together with Interactive Design studio GRRR, Menno Fokma, Soulbase, and Studio Takt we developed a leader which can be used as a commercial as well. Capturing the ease of use of this online platform, and giving it a lively fresh cinematic feel.

On the night in question
you took from the records from your record collection
and smashed them into pieces, pieces on the ground.
And you didn't even try to deny it.
You said that you needed it quiet.
They were playing, they were playing, and you had to get away from the sound.
Don't hide away too high or low.
I'd really like to see you, don't you know?
Don't hide away. Please keep in close.
Cause if I can't seem to find you, then you'll stay alone.
By your own admission, there is nothing left to eat in the kitchen, and the garbage and the clutter is piling up out in the hall. Well you know I'm gonna write you a letter, every day like you were a debtor, so you might as well pick up the phone and give me a call.
Don't hide away too high or low.
I'd really like to see you, don't you know?
Don't hide away. Please keep in close.
Cause if I can't seem to find you, then you'll stay alone.
Don't hide away too high or low.
