Synopsis:One of the less gruesome cannibal tales. A woman is searching for her missing sister and she finds hope in the folly of a dead hit-man who has a film on him. The film shows some sadistic torture and a brief cameo by her sister taken by a documentary film crew who obviously didn't make it out. She then leaves for the jungle joined by cannibal film regular Robert Kerman (playing Mark Butler), where they meet up with the standard Cannibal tribe and a Jim Jones like cult leader. Of course escape is next to impossible with the always-hungry cannibals waiting them out and the crazy followers of the suicide cult leader ready to eat them on command.

Eugenio Alabiso ha montato più di 150 film. Ha iniziato la sua carriera negli anni sessanta con Sergio Leone per poi collaborare con molti registi protagonisti dei "b-movie" del cinema italiano.
La sua vicenda, nel buio delle moviole, è la storia di un mondo scomparso. Registi, attori, musicisti, insomma uomini e donne delle troupe di una cinematografia, il "cinema di genere" italiano, che va dagli anni sessanta alla fine degli ottanta.
Oggi molte di queste pellicole, stroncate dalla critica perché ritenute triviali, dozzinali e di poco pregio artistico, sono considerate dei veri e propri "cult movie" e Eugenio ne è stato un protagonista infaticabile.

Sergio Leone (Italian: [ˈsɛrdʒo leˈɔːne]; 3 January 1929 – 30 April 1989) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter most associated with the "Spaghetti Western" genre.
Leone's film-making style includes juxtaposing extreme close-up shots with lengthy long shots. His movies include the sword and sandal action films The Last Days of Pompeii (1959) and The Colossus of Rhodes (1961), the Dollars Trilogy of Westerns featuring Clint Eastwood (A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)), the Western Once Upon a Time in the West (1968), the epic buddy Zapata Western Duck, You Sucker! (1971) and the epic crime drama Once Upon a Time in America (1984).
Early life
Born in Rome, Leone was the son of the cinema pioneer Vincenzo Leone (known as director Roberto Roberti or Leone Roberto Roberti) and the silent film actress Edvige Valcarenghi (Bice Waleran). During his schooldays, Leone was a classmate of his later musical collaborator Ennio Morricone for a time. After watching his father work on film sets, Leone began his own career in the film industry at the age of 18 after dropping out of law studies at the university.

Robert Kerman
Robert Charles Kerman (born December 16, 1947), also known as R. Bolla, is an American actor. He grew up in a middle-class Italian neighborhood of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. As R. Bolla, he appeared in well over 100 pornographic films, most famously Debbie Does Dallas (1978). He is one of the few adult performers to have an appreciable mainstream acting career.
Adult film career
Kerman's on-screen sex appearances began with director Roberta Findlay's Anyone But My Husband. He became one of the most prolific male stars of the Golden Age of Porn. Unlike many of his adult-industry peers, Kerman bitterly regrets his participation in the adult film industry, especially being in the film Debbie Does Dallas, which he feels ruined any prospect of him attaining mainstream acting success. He stated: "In retrospect I'm really sorry that I did it, because I probably ruined the best years of my life as an actor." He was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 1998.
Dual career
Although starting his paid career in adult films, Kerman was a trained actor who won minor parts in such mainstream productions such as The Goodbye Girl (1977) and The Concorde ... Airport '79. In the 1980s, he starred in several Italian horror films, including Ruggero Deodato's Cannibal Holocaust, and Umberto Lenzi's cannibal films Mangiati Vivi and Cannibal Ferox. Still, he remained active in pornography throughout the first half of the decade, with roles including Lawyer Quim in Liquid A$$ets (1982), and Fritz von Holenwohl in the Henri Pachard directed Public Affairs (1984). In 1985, attempting to work solely in mainstream productions, he obtained a Hollywood agent and went on to play supporting roles in television series such as Hill Street Blues and Simon & Simon, In 1987 he appeared in the film No Way Out. He continued to appear in pornographic cinema and was dropped by his agent. Unable to find work and feeling betrayed, slid into years of depression and substance abuse.

Luciano Vincenzoni
Luciano Vincenzoni (Italian pronunciation: [luˈtʃano vintʃenˈtsoni]; 7 March 1926 – 22 September 2013) was an Italian screenwriter, known as the "script doctor". He wrote for some 65 films between 1954 and 2000.
Biography
Vincenzoni was born in Treviso, Veneto. He is probably best known in world cinema for his script writing of Sergio Leone's For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly in 1966, but he also wrote for a number of other Spaghetti Westerns.
He was capable on the business side of film making and his strong relations with popular and important people in the industry helped him to sell For a Few Dollars More to the European vice-president of United Artists. During the bargaining session, in front of Sergio Leone, he made an on-the-spot deal for the upcoming The Good the Bad and the Ugly, which was then just a vague idea in his mind at the time. Vincenzoni had started to develop the story all the way back from his earlier film, called La Grande Guerra (1959), about two Italian soldiers in World War I. The title, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was his idea, which he created on the spot.

Janet Ågren
Janet Ågren (born 6 April 1949) is a Swedish former actress of mostly Italian exploitation films.
Life and career
Ågren was born in Landskrona, Sweden, a town she once described to Italian entertainment journalists as a "Northern Naples." Her modeling career brought her to Rome where she studied acting at the Drama School directed by Alessandro Fersen. She made her film debut in Luciano Salce's Colpo di stato, and her early roles included the Michael Caine film Pulp (1972) as a receptionist, and the Jack Lemmon comedy Avanti! (1972) as a nurse. She appeared in 57 films, including The Left Hand of the Law (1975), Lucio Fulci's City of the Living Dead (1980), Umberto Lenzi's Eaten Alive! (1980), Panic (1982), Red Sonja (1985), the Bud Spencer comedy Aladin (1986) and the cult horror film Ratman (1988). In the early 1980s she also had a brief musical career.
She quit acting in the early 1990s and moved to the US where she currently resides. She married the Italian film producer Carlo Maietto.

Synopsis:One of the less gruesome cannibal tales. A woman is searching for her missing sister and she finds hope in the folly of a dead hit-man who has a film on him. The film shows some sadistic torture and a brief cameo by her sister taken by a documentary film crew who obviously didn't make it out. She then leaves for the jungle joined by cannibal film regular Robert Kerman (playing Mark Butler), where they meet up with the standard Cannibal tribe and a Jim Jones like cult leader. Of course escape is next to impossible with the always-hungry cannibals waiting them out and the crazy followers of the suicide cult leader ready to eat them on command.

Oggi molte di queste pellicole, stroncate dalla critica perché ritenute triviali, dozzinali e di poco pregio artistico, sono considerate dei veri e propri "cult movie" e Eugenio ne è stato un protagonista infaticabile.

A Fistful of Dollars
A pancho-clad, cigar-chewing, mysterious 'Man with No Name' rides into a small frontier town which is embroiled in a struggle for power between two families. He hires himself out as a mercenary, first to one faction and then to the other, with no regard for honor or morality. He plays both sides against the middle, collecting his money, until he eventually destroys both, leaving the town to the bartender, coffin-maker and bell ringer as he rides off into the desert from whence he came. Based on Akira Kurosawa's 1961 film YOJIMBO.

He plays both sides against the middle, collecting his money, until he eventually destroys both, leaving the town to the bartender, coffin-maker and bell ringer as he rides off into the desert from whence he came. Based on Akira Kurosawa's 1961 film YOJIMBO.

O roteiro também é do tipo clássico: vilões muito malvados cometem um crime bárbaro, covarde; um mocinho sobrevive e busca por vingança. De cara, já sabemos por quem torcer.
O mocinho é John Phillip Law, mais conhecido pela atuação em Barbarella (1968). Outra moda dos faroestes dos anos 1960: mocinho da cara suja contrastando com o cabelo louro e os olhos bem claros, como Clint Eastwood, Franco Nero e Terence Hill.
