Learn how to update windows Media player manually and automatically.
Windows Media player gets updates from the manufacturers from time to time.
You can set the windows media player update to be installed automatically or you could manually check for and install updates.
You also have to be logged in to the computer as the Admin to update the media player.
To update media player manually:
Launch windows Media Player.
Switch to the library view if its not already there.
Click on the help button in the Menu bar.
Select 'Check for updates'.
To Set Media Player to Update automatically.
Click organize in the library view.
Select options.
In the Options window, click on the 'Player' tab.
Under automatic updates, select the interval option in which you want Windows Media Player to be automatically updating.

Using the Windows Media Player
---------------------------------------------------------------------
WIndows Media Player is a great program that allows you access to your music, videos and pictures.
1. To open Windows Media Player, click on the "play arrow" icon in the Taskbar (bottom left of screen). Or you can also click on the Start menu. Choose All Programs, scroll through the list and click on Windows Media Player.
2. To view content, just click on the type of content you want to view (videos, pictures or music). For example, if you want to view a video file, double-click on Videos and it will prompt the media player. The controls will be at the bottom center of the screen.
3. If you wanted to view your video fullscreen, click on the arrow icon at the very bottom right of the screen. To go back to the Media Player library, click on the icon in the very upper-right corner of the window.
4. To listen to music, click on Music in the left menu and it will display your various music files. You can sort your music according to Album, Title, Length and Rating in the top menu bar.
5. To create a music playlist, click on Playlists in the left menu, followed by the Click here link above to create a playlist in the center of the screen. Type a name into the name field and it will be created. To add songs to it, click and drag any songs you want into that playlist and they will now be copied therein.
6. To access photos, click on Pictures in the left menu and it will display all of your various photos. You can view them in a slideshow by double-clicking on a photo. On the right of the screen will appear a list of all the photos within that playlist. The photo will open up, with controls at the bottom center of the screen similar to watching a video.
7. Click the arrow buttons to flip through your photos. You can choose to Shuffle or Repeat your photos by clicking the crossed-arrow or u-turn arrow icons on the left of the controls. To view these images in fullscreen mode, once again click on the arrow icon at the very bottom right corner of the screen.

step 2. Insert a blank CD-R disc into your CD burner.
step 3.Find the items in your library that you want to copy to the audio CD.
step 4. Find the items in your library that you want to copy to the audio CD.
step 5. To create a burn list, drag items from folder or windows Media Player
step 6. f you want to change the order of the songs in the burn list, drag a song up or down in the list.
step 7. If you want to remove a song from the burn list, right-click the song, and then click Remove from List.
Don't worry: removing a song from the burn list does not delete it from your library or computer.
step 8. When you're satisfied with the list, click Start Burn.
Burning a disc might take several minutes to complete.
If you have more songs in your burn list than will fit on one audio CD, you'll have the option to burn the remaining items to a second blank CD.

Ripping a CD means copying all of the data from the CD to your computer.1. Insert your audio CD into your CD drive.2. In Windows Media Player, click on the icon for your CD in the left-hand menu.3. In the top menu, click Rip settings -- More options...4. In the Rip Music tab, you'll have several options:You can select Rip CD automatically to automatically rip CDs to your computer every time you insert them.You can select Eject CD after ripping to automatically eject the CD once ripping is complete.You can click and drag the Audio quality slider to select a quality. We recommend choosing the best quality available.Click the bar under Format to choose the format your new files will be. .wav has the highest quality, but it's also the largest.Click Change... to change the location these new files will be saved to.In the Browse For Folder window, click the location you wish to save the files to, then click OK.5. Once you've made your selections, click OK.6. In the top menu, click Rip CD. The ripping process will start.7. You will be able to track the ripping process by looking next to the track time. WIndows Media Player is a great program that allows you access to your music, videos and pictures.
1. To open Windows Media Player, click on the "play arrow" icon in the Taskbar (bottom left of screen). Or you can also click on the Start menu. Choose All Programs, scroll through the list and click on Windows Media Player.
2. To view content, just click on the type of content you want to view (videos, pictures or music). For example, if you want to view a video file, double-click on Videos and it will prompt the media player. The controls will be at the bottom center of the screen.
3. If you wanted to view your video fullscreen, click on the arrow icon at the very bottom right of the screen. To go back to the Media Player library, click on the icon in the very upper-right corner of the window.
4. To listen to music, click on Music in the left menu and it will display your various music files. You can sort your music according to Album, Title, Length and Rating in the top menu bar.
5. To create a music playlist, click on Playlists in the left menu, followed by the Click here link above to create a playlist in the center of the screen. Type a name into the name field and it will be created. To add songs to it, click and drag any songs you want into that playlist and they will now be copied therein.
6. To access photos, click on Pictures in the left menu and it will display all of your various photos. You can view them in a slideshow by double-clicking on a photo. On the right of the screen will appear a list of all the photos within that playlist. The photo will open up, with controls at the bottom center of the screen similar to watching a video.
7. Click the arrow buttons to flip through your photos. You can choose to Shuffle or Repeat your photos by clicking the crossed-arrow or u-turn arrow icons on the left of the controls. To view these images in fullscreen mode, once again click on the arrow icon at the very bottom right corner of the screen.

You also have to be logged in to the computer as the Admin to update the media player.

Click on the help button in the Menu bar.

WIndows Media Player is a great program that allows you access to your music, videos and pictures.
1. To open Windows Media Player, click on the "play arrow" icon in the Taskbar (bottom left of screen). Or you can also click on the Start menu. Choose All Programs, scroll through the list and click on Windows Media Player.
2. To view content, just click on the type of content you want to view (videos, pictures or music). For example, if you want to view a video file, double-click on Videos and it will prompt the media player. The controls will be at the bottom center of the screen.
3. If you wanted to view your video fullscreen, click on the arrow icon at the very bottom right of the screen. To go back to the Media Player library, click on the icon in the very upper-right corner of the window.
4. To listen to music, click on Music in the left menu and it will display your various music files. You can sort your music according to Album, Title, Length and Rating in the top menu bar.
5. To create a music playlist, click on Playlists in the left menu, followed by the Click here link above to create a playlist in the center of the screen. Type a name into the name field and it will be created. To add songs to it, click and drag any songs you want into that playlist and they will now be copied therein.
6. To access photos, click on Pictures in the left menu and it will display all of your various photos. You can view them in a slideshow by double-clicking on a photo. On the right of the screen will appear a list of all the photos within that playlist. The photo will open up, with controls at the bottom center of the screen similar to watching a video.
7. Click the arrow buttons to flip through your photos. You can choose to Shuffle or Repeat your photos by clicking the crossed-arrow or u-turn arrow icons on the left of the controls. To view these images in fullscreen mode, once again click on the arrow icon at the very bottom right corner of the screen.
