Siobhán Mary Ann McCarthy (born 6 November 1957 in Dublin) is a television and stage actress. She is married to theatrical sound designer Andrew Bruce, and resides in London with her husband and two children, Kieran and Juliet. . She is perhaps best known for her role as Roisin Connor in ITV1's Prison drama Bad Girls.

Her television credits include Lovejoy, The Big Battalions and Holby City.

McCarthy originated the roles of the Mistress in Evita in 1978 in London's West End, before later returning to the show to play the title role. In between, Siobhan joined the vocal harmony group Wall Street Crash (1980 - 1983) where she performed several times at London's Talk of the Town, at the Casino in Monte Carlo, and in two Royal Variety Performances (1980 and 1982). Peter DeLuise

Peter John DeLuise (born November 6, 1966) is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, known for his role as Officer Doug Penhall in the Fox TV series 21 Jump Street, and for directing and writing episodes of science fiction television shows, particularly in the Stargate franchise.

Career

DeLuise made his film debut in the 1979 film Hot Stuff. He landed his best known acting role, as Officer Doug Penhall, in the 1987 Fox series 21 Jump Street, alongside other promising actors including Johnny Depp. His brother Michael came on the show in the fifth season where he played his younger brother, Officer Joey Penhall. DeLuise is also well known for his role as Dagwood on the NBC science fiction television series SeaQuest DSV from 1994 to 1996.

DeLuise has made guest appearances on the television shows The Facts of Life, 21 Jump Street spin-off Booker, Friends, Highlander: The Series, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, and Stargate SG-1.

In 1997, he began working on the series Stargate SG-1, serving as producer, writer, director, and creative consultant. He has appeared, normally as an extra, in every episode of the series he has directed. He went on to work as executive producer, director and writer for the Stargate SG-1 spin-off Stargate Atlantis, and directed eight episodes of the spin-off Stargate Universe. His father, Dom DeLuise, made a guest appearance in the Stargate SG-1 episode "Urgo", which Peter directed. Peter also made a cameo in the episode as the "Urgo" character transformed to be a young man in a United States Air Force uniform.

Pacific Northwest

The Pacific Northwest (in the United States, commonly abbreviated as PNW), sometimes referred to as Cascadia, is a region in western North America bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and, loosely, by the Rocky Mountains on the east. Though no agreed boundary exists, a common conception includes the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington and the Canadian province of British Columbia. Broader conceptions reach north into Alaska and Yukon, south into far Northern California and east into Idaho and Western Montana, western Wyoming, and western Alberta, to the Continental Divide. Narrower conceptions may be limited to the Northwestern U.S. or to the coastal areas west of the Cascade and Coast mountains. The variety of definitions can be attributed to partially overlapping commonalities of the region's history, geography, society, and other factors.

The Northwest Coast is the coastal regions of the Pacific Northwest and the Northwest Plateau (also commonly known as "The Interior" in British Columbia and the Inland Empire in the United States) is the inland regions. The term "Pacific Northwest" should not be confused with the Northwest Territory (also known as the Great Northwest, a historical term in the United States) or the Northwest Territories of Canada.

Paul Armstrong

Paul Armstrong (born 5 October 1978 in Dublin) is an Irish footballer. His most natural position is in the centre of midfield, although he has played as a defender. Armstrong has played in both professional and semi-professional teams in England and Scotland and has had international appearances for the Republic of Ireland U18 and U21 teams.

Playing career

Brighton and Hove Albion

He started his career as a junior for Brighton & Hove Albion youth team, progressing into the first team in 1997. In March 1998, he was picked for the Republic of Ireland under-21 team for a friendly game against the Czech Republic. Armstrong scored his first senior goal from a penalty in a game against Chester City in January 1999. Armstrong made over 50 league appearances with Brighton and Hove until he was released by Micky Adams in 2000.

Airdrieonians and Airdrie United

He transferred to the Scottish leagues as a defender for Airdrieonians (see The Last Ever Airdrieonians Team) in the Scottish First Division, winning the Scottish Challenge Cup in the first two seasons he was there. In his second season with Airdrieonians, he helped the team finish second place in the First Division, but the club suffered serious financial problems and was liquidated on 1 May 2002.
