The following is a list of political parties whose names (in English) could be translated to Democratic Party or the Democrats.
Senator Estes Kefauver of Tennessee defeated President Harry S. Truman in the New Hampshire primary becoming the first person to ever drive an incumbent from the race during the 20th Century. Kefauver swept the primaries, but there weren't enough to be able to win the nomination.
Adlai Stevenson, who had won the 1952 nomination on third ballot, defeated Estes Kefauver in the early primaries, thus becoming the last losing Democratic Presidential nominee to win a second nomination. He would lose again.
Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts defeated Senator Hubert H. Humphrey of Minnesota in the two contested primaries.
Governor George Wallace of Alabama made a feeble challenge to President Lyndon Johnson and his surrogates, who were running because he pretended not to be running.
In the last successful challenge to an incumbent President, Senator Eugene J. McCarthy of Minnesota came extremely close to defeating President Johnson in New Hampshire, and with polls showing him winning Wisconsin and the entry of Senator Robert Kennedy of New York, the President withdrew from the race.
Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (born October 26, 1947) is an American politician and former United States Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009. She is the wife of the 42nd President of the United States William "Bill" Jefferson Clinton, and was First Lady of the United States during his tenure from 1993 to 2001. She served under current President Barack Obama as the 67th United States Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. She is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 presidential election.
A native of the Chicago area, Hillary Rodham graduated from Wellesley College in 1969, where she became the first student commencement speaker. She went on to earn her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1973. After a stint as a congressional legal counsel, she moved to Arkansas, marrying Bill Clinton in 1975. She co-founded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families in 1977, became the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation in 1978, and was named the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979. While First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981, and 1983 to 1992, she led a task force that reformed Arkansas' public school system, and served on the board of directors of Wal-Mart among other corporations.
Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is an American politician and the junior United States Senator from Vermont. He is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. A Democrat as of 2015, Sanders had been the longest-serving independent in U.S. congressional history, though his caucusing with the Democrats entitled him to committee assignments and at times gave Democrats a majority. Sanders has been the ranking minority member on the Senate Budget Committee since January 2015, and previously served for two years as chair of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
Sanders was born and raised in the New York City borough of Brooklyn and graduated from the University of Chicago in 1964. While a student, he was an active civil rights protest organizer for the Congress of Racial Equality and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. After settling in Vermont in 1968, Sanders ran unsuccessful third-party campaigns for governor and U.S. senator in the early to mid-1970s. As an independent, he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont's most populous city, in 1981, and was reelected three times. In 1990, he was elected to represent Vermont's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. In 1991, Sanders co-founded the Congressional Progressive Caucus. He served as a congressman for 16 years before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006. In 2012, he was reelected with 71% of the popular vote. During the 2016 presidential primaries, Sanders became the first self-described democratic socialist and first Jewish American to win a presidential primary of a major party, namely the New Hampshire primary.

w/ Closed Captioning (CC) Thursday, February 11, 2016 Hillary Clinton vs. Bernie Sanders Democratic Party Presidential Primary Debate Milwaukee, Wisconsin Courtesy: PBS NewsHour -------------------------------- OPINION: Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire Primary, but he is still 100% unlikely to win the Democratic nomination. Hillary Clinton is glorified like the "Queen of the Party" among the Democrats. Obviously, she was preselected by the Democratic Party to succeed Barack Hussein Obama as the leading frontrunner since 2008. If Sanders is actually serious about becoming president, he would run as an independent. I think he has a much better chance beating both Hillary and the GOP as an independent candidate.

I'm stepping into the ring. I'm forming a non-profit corporation to help 3rd Party candidates across America, and I'm going to help people that need help along the way, as well as establish a network of Independent Media to cover it. We need to work together. Democrats and Republicans have ruled our country for over a century, and America has lost it's way. We have become the Empire we fought to escape. We're going to make America what it was supposed to be, a country shining the light of liberty for others to see. Sorry about both The Shakiness and The Gaps in his Speech, it was the Best that I could do without both a Tripod and with the Camera that I brought with Me to that Rally, but anyway ... Citizens of Washington, D.C., (formally the District of Columbia and commonly referred to as "Washington", "the District", or simply "D.C.",) Puerto Rico, California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota and The Virgin Islands, this maybe our last chance to help Bernie Sanders gain enough Pledged delegates to overtake Hillary Clinton in The 2016 Democratic Party presidential primaries and caucuses, and hopefully this will convince the Superdelegates to switch their support from Secretary Clinton to Senator Sanders, if we successfully convince all of the Remaining Democratic, Independe...
