Video of the Mt Mulligan campgrounds December 31 2013 from the water tanks hills down to the campground at the Weir
The Mount Mulligan mine disaster occurred on 19 September 1921 in Mount Mulligan, North Queensland. A series of explosions in the local coal mine, audible as much as 30 km away, rocked the close knit township.
Seventy-five workers were killed by the disaster which is the third worst coal mining accident in Australia in terms of human lives lost. Four of the dead had been at the mouth of the pit at the time of the explosion. Only eleven of the bodies were found. The disaster affected people in cities and towns all over the country. The mine, which was new at the time of the accident, was widely considered safe and had no previous indications of gas leaks. The miners hence worked using open flame lights instead of safety lamps.

It didn't look hopeful,the town was gone and the elderly residents spread all over Queensland.
However one name kept recurring.."Mrs Wardle". I was told by locals not to leave until I had spoken to her.
After seven days searching, I recorded our first meeting and it became the commentary for the film.
A most remarkable woman.

For our proposed Eagle Mountain - Woodfibre gas pipeline project, we’ll need to build a new compressor station in the Squamish area.
The original location we proposed for the new facility was in the Squamish industrial park, using an appropriately zoned lot that met a lengthy list of criteria. However, through our Environmental Assessment process we received feedback from the community, the Squamish Nation and the District of Squamish, asking us to leave the industrial land available for other uses and consider a more remote location.
We found another location option for the new compressor station, at the base of Mount Mulligan. It meets all of our safety and operational criteria, and addresses the community’s feedback: it’s in a remote location away from residences, and won’t be visible from downtown Squamish or from scenic viewpoints in the area.

Things are getting more normal now...but still not quite :P So after the disappointing lost to PHONETAP in the first round of GEICO's 8th open Hearthstone tournament, I decided that I needed to get more experience in tournaments and start improving my decks in my lineup so I could do better by the time the 9th open tournament rolled around at the end of July. I basically had a month to prepare, so I was on Strivewire looking for open tournaments that gave HCT points for Blizzcon and I ultimately settled on AS1's open tournaments. So after the disappointing lost to PHONETAP in the first round of GEICO's 8th open Hearthstone tournament, I decided that I needed to get more experience in tournaments and start improving my decks in my lineup so I could do better by the time the 9th open tournament rolled around at the end of July. I basically had a month to prepare, so I was on Strivewire looking for open tournaments that gave HCT points for Blizzcon and I ultimately settled on AS1's open tournaments. I made some changes to my Midrange Hunter, but kept everything else the same for now. This was the first of several tournaments I entered in July so let's see how I do.
The AS1 tournaments work basically like most major tournaments in the Conquest format, which is different from the GEICO/ONOG Summer ones. You bring 4 decks of 4 different classes, you pick a class in your opponent's lineup to ban and your opponent does the same against you, then you play in a Best of 5 series. The first person to win a game with all of their remaining classes/decks wins the match and moves on.

C'Thun Priest, Control Warrior feat. Varian Wrynn, Control Shaman, Midrange Hunter feat. King Mukla (banned)
Jakelite:
N'Zoth Rogue, Zoo, Control Warrior, Shaman (banned)
