Vilnius (Lithuanian pronunciation: [ˈvʲɪlʲnʲʊs]; Polish: Wilno, see also other names) is the capital of Lithuania and its largest city, with a population of 542,664 as of 2015. Vilnius is located in the southeast part of Lithuania and is the second largest city in the Baltic states.
Vilnius is the seat of the Vilnius City Municipality and of the Vilnius District Municipality. It is also the capital of Vilnius County. The first known written record of Vilnius as the Lithuanian capital is known from Gediminas' letters in 1323.
Vilnius is classified as a Gamma global city according to GaWC studies, and is known for the architecture in its Old Town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Its Jewish influence until the 20th century has led to it being described as the "Jerusalem of Lithuania" and Napoleon named it "the Jerusalem of the North" as he was passing through in 1812. In 2009, Vilnius was the European Capital of Culture, together with the Austrian city of Linz.

With an estimated population of nearly 8.5 million in 2014, New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States. The New York City Metropolitan Area is one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. The New York Times (sometimes abbreviated to NYT) is an American daily newspaper, founded and continuously published in New York City since September 18, 1851, by the New York Times Company. It has won 117 Pulitzer Prizes, more than any other news organization.
The paper's print version has the second-largest circulation, behind The Wall Street Journal, and the largest circulation among the metropolitan newspapers in the United States. It is ranked 39th in the world by circulation. Following industry trends, its weekday circulation has fallen to fewer than one million daily since 1990. Nicknamed for years as "The Gray Lady", The New York Times has long been regarded within the industry as a national "newspaper of record". It is owned by The New York Times Company. Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, Jr. – whose family (Ochs-Sulzberger) has controlled the paper for five generations, since 1896 – is both the paper's publisher and the company's chairman. Its international version, formerly the International Herald Tribune, is now called the International New York Times.

Lithuania (i/ˌlɪθjuːˈeɪniə/; Lithuanian: Lietuva [lʲɪɛtʊˈvɐ]), officially the Republic of Lithuania (Lithuanian: Lietuvos Respublika), is a country in Northern Europe. One of the three Baltic states, it is situated along the southeastern shore of the Baltic Sea, to the east of Sweden and Denmark. It is bordered by Latvia to the north, Belarus to the east and south, Poland to the south, and Kaliningrad Oblast (a Russian exclave) to the southwest. Lithuania has an estimated population of 2.9 million people as of 2015, and its capital and largest city is Vilnius. Lithuanians are a Baltic people. The official language, Lithuanian, along with Latvian, are the only two living languages in the Baltic branch of the Indo-European language family.
For centuries, the southeastern shores of the Baltic Sea were inhabited by various Baltic tribes. In the 1230s, the Lithuanian lands were united by Mindaugas, the King of Lithuania, and the first unified Lithuanian state, the Kingdom of Lithuania, was created on 6 July 1253. During the 14th century, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was the largest country in Europe; present-day Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, and parts of Poland and Russia were the territories of the Grand Duchy. With the Lublin Union of 1569, Lithuania and Poland formed a voluntary two-state union, the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Commonwealth lasted more than two centuries, until neighboring countries systematically dismantled it from 1772–95, with the Russian Empire annexing most of Lithuania's territory.

Plot: So what is this film? Its style is mostly surreal or rather eclectic, something between the surreal past and the surreal future. An urban road-movie, an unrequited love story. Words that catalyzed our fantasy while making this film were: pizza, red, cheese, the eclipse, a 68' Mustang, sky-scraper, ocean, waves, palm trees, surf, beach, old-school, high-techno, art deco, perspective, chequered, surfpunk. A bit surreal, this comedy is based on the everyday desires and visions of the X Generation. Faces, stories, cool talk, friendship, love and dreams follow one another until the unavoidable happy ending.

We have recently embarked on a bus tour of the Baltic countries. Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, was the first city on the tour. The old town has a bustling atmosphere with musicians, markets and many shops. There is a little Bohemian Uzupis district just outside of the old town which we explored. We ended our time in Lithuania with a visit to the Hill of Crosses which has more than a million crosses, an incredible sight to behold. From Riga, we catch a bus to the Lithuanian capital. We marvel at the Christmas market in Cathedral Square, visit the self-declared Uzupis Republic (stopping by the mermaid, of course) and traipse up to the castle. Vilnius is fantastic - especially in the snow.

We show you around the coolest spots in Vilnius that only the locals know.
Welcoming Party / This Is System
This is system for your life we exist
We'll take your mind and violently twist into
A shape so desperate you'll make us your life
And like your mother we will hold you so tight
And we'll grow off our pain constant aggression.
We're sedatives for your alteration
We'll drag you down for the rest of your life
And then the system succeeds
The day you have died
THIS IS SYSTEM
We welcome you child and we open our arms of greetings
We'll treat you just right and we'll change you inside and you'll see
That it's so necessary for you to accept
Or we'll strap you down 'til we gain your respect
You'll see it our way and you'll never question what we say
See me I am crying through eyes of pain!
Cold hearted system I cannot escape!
Much more comfortable now, much more relaxed, just slightly sedated
And when the lights go out, you will recall the pain that you've faded
And in the blackened pitch you hear the other guests screaming
And you can feel the horror of their hated dreams
We'll strap you down tight
Shocking your mind for screaming
You poor child with pain in your eyes
We never hear you cry
We'd like to think that you are someone's mistake
And so we lock you away
There's got to be some kind of end
A way out from under this horror
Something out there beyond the pain
That welcomes with comfort
We'll let you go this time and it's your mistake
You will miss our hate and desire our pain
And you will be back
Because they will not understand you
You feared man with the hate in your eyes
Looks like you don't mind dying
We'd like to think that you're a social mistake
