Ralph Stanley
Ralph Edmund Stanley (born February 25, 1927), also known as Dr. Ralph Stanley, is an American bluegrass artist, known for his distinctive singing and banjo playing. Stanley has been playing music since 1946, originally with his brother Carter as part of the "Stanley Brothers", and most often as the leader of his band, the "Clinch Mountain Boys". He is part of the first generation of bluegrass musicians and has been inducted into both the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor and the Grand Ole Opry.
Biography
Ralph Edmond Stanley was born, grew up, and lives today in rural Southwest Virginia—"in a little town called McClure at a place called Big Spraddle, just up the holler" from where he moved in 1936 and has lived ever since in Dickenson County. The son of Lee and Lucy Stanley, Ralph did not grow up around a lot of music in his home. As he says, his "daddy didn't play an instrument, but sometimes he would sing church music. And I'd hear him sing songs like 'Man of Constant Sorrow,' 'Pretty Polly' and 'Omie Wise.'"

Essex Boys is a 2000 British crime film. It was directed by Terry Winsor and stars Sean Bean, Alex Kingston, Tom Wilkinson, Charlie Creed-Miles and Holly Davidson. The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of two top drug barons and their driver in Rettendon, Essex, UK. On 6 December 1995, Patrick Tate, Craig Rolfe and Tony Tucker, three drug dealers well known to the police, were lured to Workhouse Lane, Rettendon on the pretext of a lucrative drug deal. There they were killed by shotgun blasts to the head while sitting in their Range Rover. The bodies were found the following morning. Waste Management/G.I. Industries Garbage Trucks
Here are 17 of the over 100 trucks Waste Management operates out of their yard in Simi Valley. This yard has some of the most well maintained and well operated trucks out of any other Waste Management location out there. G.I. Industries was it's own company until they sold to Western Waste in 1996 and then Western Waste sold to Waste Management. Up until just a few years ago the trucks from this yard were still in the old G.I. Industries colors of blue and red. Now the whole fleet is in the standard Waste Management colors. I have made quite of few trips out here to see this awesome fleet and this shows a little bit of most of the trucks that I have been able to film. Essex Boys is a 2000 British crime film. It was directed by Terry Winsor and stars Sean Bean, Alex Kingston, Tom Wilkinson, Charlie Creed-Miles and Holly Davidson.
The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of two top drug barons and their driver in Rettendon, Essex, UK. On 6 December 1995, Patrick Tate, Craig Rolfe and Tony Tucker, three drug dealers well known to the police, were lured to Workhouse Lane, Rettendon on the pretext of a lucrative drug deal. There they were killed by shotgun blasts to the head while sitting in their Range Rover. The bodies were found the following morning. This scene and other details of the 1990s Essex and London criminal milieu are also featured in the film Rise of the Footsoldier (2007).

Here are 17 of the over 100 trucks Waste Management operates out of their yard in Simi Valley. This yard has some of the most well maintained and well operated trucks out of any other Waste Management location out there. G.I. Industries was it's own company until they sold to Western Waste in 1996 and then Western Waste sold to Waste Management. Up until just a few years ago the trucks from this yard were still in the old G.I. Industries colors of blue and red. Now the whole fleet is in the standard Waste Management colors.
I have made quite of few trips out here to see this awesome fleet and this shows a little bit of most of the trucks that I have been able to film. Every driver that i've met here has been extremely nice and welcoming to being filmed, so a huge thanks goes to all of these great people.
