Ivar (Old Norse Ívarr) is a Scandinavian masculine given name. The Old Norse name has several possible etymologies. In North Germanic phonology, several of the elements common to Germanic names became homophonous. The first element Ívarr may contain yr "yew" and -arr (from hari, "warrior"), but it may have become partly conflated with Ingvar, and possibly Joar (element jó "horse"). The second element -arr may alternatively also be from geir "spear" or it may be var "protector". The name was adopted into English as Ivor and into Gaelic as Iomhar.
Ivar the Timewalker is a character in the Valiant Comics universe. Created by artist and writer Barry Windsor-Smith, he first appeared in Archer and Armstrong #8 (March 1993) which was a flip book with Eternal Warrior #8.
The original series was 15 issues, was a central character in "Valiant: 1999 And Beyond" and was subsequently revamped for the VH2 Universe in 1998.
Originally, there were meant to be two immortal brothers in the Valiant Comics Universe - Gilad, the Eternal Warrior and Aram the other, better known as Armstrong. Each is older than recorded history although Gilad is the elder by two years. It was later revealed, in Archer and Armstrong/Eternal Warrior #8 (The Musketeers Special) that there was a third brother, Ivar, who was the eldest.
Like his brothers, Ivar is immortal, ages very slowly, is exceptionally strong and fast, and is able heal quickly. However, he also has the unique ability to sense "time arcs" that allow him to pass from one time period to another but he has no control over what time period the "time arcs" will take him to. He travels these arcs as often as he can, searching for the arc that will lead him back to ancient Egypt and the woman he loves.
Ivar is a Malayalam film directed by T. K. Rajeev Kumar. Jayaram plays the Male protagonist.Biju Menon has also equally significant role. Bhavana is the heroine. The film also stars Siddique, Janardhanan and Riza Bawa amongst others.

The Raška (Serbian Cyrillic: Рашка) is a river in southwestern Serbia, a 60 km-long left tributary to the Ibar river. Its historical name is Arzon (Greek: Αρζον).
The Raška originates from a strong well and several sinking streams flowing out from the cave south of the Sopoćani monastery, in the Pešter region. Waters of the well and the sinking streams flowing from the Koštan-Polje are gathered into the catchment which enabled construction of the small subterranean hydro electrical power plant Ras (6 MW).
The Raška flows northward during entire of its flow and receives at the village of Pazarište the Sebečevačka reka from the right, between the villages of Dojeviće and Vatevo much longer Ljutska reka from the left and Jošanica from the right at the town of Novi Pazar, the most populous settlement on the river's course.
As it enters the Raška oblast, eastern part of the much larger Stari Vlah-Raška Region of the southwest Serbia, the river flows next to the old Petrova church church and Novi Pazar's suburbs of Banja and Postenje. The lower course is not densely populated, except for the villages of Požežina and Milatkoviće. Finally, the river reaches the town of Raška and its suburb of Supnje, where it empties into the Ibar river.
