Ce vote doit se dérouler trois mois après la date du premier scrutin pour éviter le tourisme électoral.
Si les citoyens de Moutier devaient refuser de quitter le canton de Berne, les communes de la couronne prévôtoise, Belprahon, Crémines et Grandval retireraient leur requête de vote communaliste au nom de leur communauté de destin avec leur grande voisine. Sorvilier n'a pas manifesté d'intention en ce sens

The Republic and Canton of the Jura (French: République et Canton du Jura), also known as the Canton of Jura or Canton Jura, is one of the cantons of Switzerland. It is the newest (created in 1979) of the 26 Swiss cantons, located in the northwestern part of Switzerland. The capital is Delémont. It shares borders with the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, the Canton of Bern, and the French département of Doubs.
The city of Porrentruy (Pruntrut in German) in the Jura is considered to be the cultural center of the region. The cityscape is dominated by the mighty medieval castle, which served as the residence of the prince bishops of Basel for 200 years.
Saint Ursanne is a city and a former municipality of the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura, Switzerland which has preserved its medieval character. The city contains many historical curiosities, including collegiate churches, a cloister, ruins of a castle, and a hermitage. The River Doubs makes a loop by Saint-Ursanne before flowing into France. Since 2009 Saint Ursanne is a part of the new municipality Clos du Doubs. Additionally, the city is famous for the medieval festival which it organizes each summer.
Its name refers to Saint Ursicinus, an Irish monk who came to live here in the VI th Century.

History
The King of Burgundy donated much of the land that today makes up Canton Jura to the Bishop of Basel in 999. The area was a sovereign state within the Holy Roman Empire for more than 800 years. After the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648 the Jura had close ties with the Swiss Confederation. At the Congress of Vienna (1815), the Jura region became part of the canton of Bern. This act caused dissention. The Jura was French-speaking and Roman Catholic, whereas the canton of Bern was mostly German-speaking and Protestant.

Cantons of Switzerland
The 26 cantons of Switzerland (German: Kanton, French: canton, Italian: cantone, Romansh: chantun) are the member states of the Swiss Confederation. There were eight lieus (or cantons) during 1353–1481, and thirteen lieus during 1513–1798. Each lieu/canton was a fully sovereign state with its own border controls, army, and currency from the Treaty of Westphalia (1648) until the establishment of the Swiss federal state in 1848. From 1833, there were 25 cantons, which became 26 after the secession of the Canton of Jura from Bern in 1979.
Terminology
The term canton, now also used as English term for administrative subdivisions of other countries, originates after 1490 as specific to Switzerland. It is derived from the French word canton, from a term meaning "edge, corner", but used to refer to political territories.
Historically, the cantons were referred to in German as Statt (plural: Stätte), or later Ort (plural Orte; English: Lieu, meaning "settlement" or "location", pronouncing the then very dominant power and importance of settlements over the country-side and/or forested area), but the word canton(e) has also been in use since the 16th century, mainly in the Latin languages spoken regions. The cantons are traditionally also referred to as Stand (plural Stände, "estate"), état, stato or stadi ("state"). This is still reflected in the name of the upper chamber of the Swiss Parliament, the Council of States (Ständerat, Conseil des États).

Ce vote doit se dérouler trois mois après la date du premier scrutin pour éviter le tourisme électoral.
Si les citoyens de Moutier devaient refuser de quitter le canton de Berne, les communes de la couronne prévôtoise, Belprahon, Crémines et Grandval retireraient leur requête de vote communaliste au nom de leur communauté de destin avec leur grande voisine. Sorvilier n'a pas manifesté d'intention en ce sens

It is the newest (created in 1979) of the 26 Swiss cantons, located in the northwestern part of Switzerland. The capital is Delémont. It shares borders with the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, the Canton of Bern, and the French département of Doubs.
The city of Porrentruy (Pruntrut in German) in the Jura is considered to be the cultural center of the region. The cityscape is dominated by the mighty medieval castle, which served as the residence of the prince bishops of Basel for 200 years.
Saint Ursanne is a city and a former municipality of the district of Porrentruy in the canton of Jura, Switzerland which has preserved its medieval character. The city contains many historical curiosities, including collegiate churches, a cloister, ruins of a castle, and a hermitage. The River Doubs makes a loop by Saint-Ursanne before flowing into France. Since 2009 Saint Ursanne is a part of the new municipality Clos du Doubs. Additionally, the city is famous for the medieval festival which it organizes each summer.
Its name refers to Saint Ursicinus, an Irish monk who came to live here in the VI th Century.

A spring walk through the "Bois de Chênes" (the "oak tree forest") in the Lake Geneva region of Western Switzerland. This forest is a protected nature reserve with a surface area of 140 hectares. It consists of mainly deciduous forests, various ponds, and spacious meadows that are largely accessible to the public via walking trails. The canton of Bern is mainly drained by the River Aare and its tributaries. The area of the canton is commonly divided into six regions.
The most populated area is the Bernese Mittelland on the plateau north of the Alps, with the capital city of Bern. The northmost part of the canton is the Bernese Jura bordering the Canton of Jura. The Bernese Oberland is the mountainous region which lies in the south of the canton.

A spring walk through the "Bois de Chênes" (the "oak tree forest") in the Lake Geneva region of Western Switzerland.
This forest is a protected nature reserve with a surface area of 140 hectares. It consists of mainly deciduous forests, various ponds, and spacious meadows that are largely accessible to the public via walking trails. If you happen to be in the area near the town of Nyon (Vaud), this forest is well worth a visit.
The central area of the forest is devoted to scientific research purposes i.e. no human intervention of any kind in the natural processes that occur over time, in partnership with Lausanne University, among other.
The "Association pour le Bois de Chênes de Genolier" (the association for the protection of the "Bois de Chênes" forest) is devoted to ensuring the long-term protection of this beautiful landscape. You can visit their website here: http://www.abcg.ch/
