Whatever may refer to:
The Real refers to that which is authentic, the unchangeable truth in reference both to being/the Self and the external dimension of experience, also referred to as the infinite and absolute—as opposed to a reality based on sense perception and the material order.
For Jacques Lacan, the order of the real is not only opposed to the imaginary but is also located beyond the symbolic. Unlike the symbolic, which is constituted in terms of oppositions such as "presence" and "absence", there is no absence in the real. The symbolic opposition between "presence" and "absence" implies the possibility that something may be missing from the symbolic, the real is "always in its place: it carries it glued to its heel, ignorant of what might exile it from there." If the symbolic is a set of differentiated signifiers, the real is in itself undifferentiated: "it is without fissure." The symbolic introduces "a cut in the real," in the process of signification: "it is the world of words that creates the world of things." Thus the real emerges as that which is outside language: "it is that which resists symbolization absolutely." The real is impossible because it is impossible to imagine, impossible to integrate into the symbolic order. This character of impossibility and resistance to symbolization lends the real its traumatic quality.
We Don't is an album by American jazz saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc with drummer Denis Charles, which was recorded in 1981 but not issued until 2003 by the Eremite label. The title track is a traditional Caribbean tune.
In his review for AllMusic, Steve Loewy states "Jemeel Moondoc and Denis Charles are in outstanding form, with the saxophonist wailing passionately for the length of the album and the drummer egging him on with characteristic panache."
The Penguin Guide to Jazz notes that "Saxophone and drums is a tough discipline, sanctified by John Coltrane's duets with Rashied Ali. These are harsher and more abstract sessions, and the more reallistic parallel might be Ornette Coleman and Ed Blackwell."
The All About Jazz review by Clifford Allen states "As far as continua are concerned, We Don't is neither fire- breathing heaviness nor ice-cold experimentation, but a creative and energetic ride through the dictions of two of the most original voices on their instruments."
The JazzTimes review by Bill Shoemaker says "A passionate duo exchange with alto saxophonist Jemeel Moondoc, We Don't is a fine companion volume to a 1991 recording issued under Charles' leadership, Captain of the Deep, which also featured Moondoc."
The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City in 1998, consisting of Julian Casablancas (lead vocals), Nick Valensi (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals), Albert Hammond, Jr. (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals), Nikolai Fraiture (bass) and Fabrizio Moretti (drums, percussion).
The band met widespread critical acclaim upon the release of their debut album, Is This It in 2001. A number of members have embarked on a variety of side projects, though they regrouped for a fifth album, titled Comedown Machine, released on March 26, 2013. They have sold over 5 million albums.
They are one of the many garage rock bands to hail from the US at the dawn of the 21st century and helped augment the garage rock revival movement. Their debut album, Is This It, was ranked number 199 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, number 4 on NME's 500 greatest albums of all time, number 8 on Rolling Stone's 100 Best Debut Albums of All Time and number 2 on Rolling Stone's 100 Best Albums of the 2000s.
"Want To" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music duo Sugarland. It was released in August 2006 as the first single from the album Enjoy the Ride. It was their first single not to feature former member Kristen Hall, although Jennifer Nettles had previously been featured on Bon Jovi's Number One country hit, "Who Says You Can't Go Home", the song was also the first regular Number One hit of Sugarland's career in the U.S., spending two weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts in late 2006. The duo's members, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, wrote the song along with Bobby Pinson. The song has sold 856,000 copies in the US as of April 2013.

He's a tattooed, thrill-seeking, motorcycle enthusiast who perfectly encapsulates a certain "outlaw" archetype, especially with his name. But he's also engaged in actual bad behavior, from petty crime as a youth to cheating on America's sweetheart, and even assaulting paparazzi, which he freely and gleefully admits. So it's no surprise that he was bound to flame out hard. When the scandal over his infidelities reached a fever pitch, James not only walked away from his lucrative TV projects, he also shut down his legendary West Coast Choppers garage in Long Beach, California and left the state for good. A video answering the question - "Why don't they make handheld Digital TVs?" The wrong answer would be to say that "smartphones killed handheld TVs"...it's more complicated than that. Smartphones might be one reason people don't use handheld TVs *nowadays* but pocket TVs were killed off *years before* 3G networks suitable for streaming video had been built out in the UK. The truth is that Apathy killed the dream of Pocket Digital TVs. In this video I'll attempt to explain what happened as far as the UK goes and then demonstrate the kind of results you can expect to get if you use one of the limited range of no-brand handheld TV that can be found in the depths of eBay. In the absence of any offerings from Sony or Casio...this is as good as it gets. Here's a link to the Digital TV shown...

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? is a 1962 American psychological thriller–horror film produced and directed by Robert Aldrich, starring Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, about an aging former actress who holds her paraplegic sister captive in an old Hollywood mansion. The screenplay by Lukas Heller is based on the 1960 novel of the same name by Henry Farrell. Upon the film's release, it was met with widespread critical and box office acclaim and was later nominated for five Academy Awards, winning one for Best Costume Design, Black and White. It began with the beat of the drum. With the beat, came a voice for those without one. From this voice, came a movement. Overcoming the odds, the originators of Hip Hop took their music from block parties of New York City streets to world wide radio waves. During the early years, the music and message reached new heights by exploring humanity, politics, and street life, while keeping it real and having fun. But what ever happened to Hip Hop? Currently the most pervasive music worldwide, its roots have been forgotten, its message perverted. With Hip Hop in the spotlight, it's time to put it back on tra...
Although the original classic What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (1962) starring the legendary Bette Davis and Joan Crawford was still a way better movie by far, this 1990 TV remake is nonetheless interestingly portrayed by Lynn and Vanessa Redgrave (real life sisters), and perhaps because this archetypal Baby Jane story is set in the 1980's, is definitely worth a look... There was gossip concerning another remake of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane set in contemporary times, but to my current knowledge has not come to fruition just yet... Pity, because a modern interpretation of the former child star's jealousy of her sister's success in show business before she was crippled by the accident, could amount to interesting viewing indeed...just as long it did legitimate justice to the original, ...
Who’s your (ancient) daddy? Did he walk upright? Could he control fire? Did he have a brow ridge that wouldn’t quit?! Then maybe he was a Homo of the erectus — not so sapient — type. Many new Homo erectus specimens have been added to the global repository in the past decades, and many new interpretations have followed. It is more that most can easily digest. Come join professor Henry Gilbert, discoverer of the Daka Homo erectus cranium, to have the Pleistocene evidence of your ancestors’ evolutionary history explained. WHO: Henry Gilbert, Assoc. Professor of Anthropology, CSU East Bay, and Researcher, Human Evolution Research Center, UC Berkeley
As long as people have a low view of sin and the law of God, they will be unable to grasp their enslavement to the darkness of rebellion against our Creator. Seeing the true glory of the gospel requires us to see the darkness through which it shines in all its fullness. In this session, Dr. Russell Moore helps turn us away from a low view of sin and God’s law, reminding us of the heinousness of sin so that we might see the riches of divine grace. From the Film Australia Collection. Made by Film Australia 1973. Directed by Peter Weir. Green Valley was a housing commission estate in western Sydney, much maligned by the media of the day. The residents were hurt by the criticism but lacked access to the media to respond. Supplied with equipment by Film Australia, they used this film to present a different image of themselves and their daily lives. In so doing, they answered the question of “whatever happened to Green Valley”. The core of this film is the work of half a dozen residents, co-ordinated by acclaimed filmmaker Peter Weir in one of his earliest film projects. Weir also acts as the moderator at a public forum that is included in the film.
