Film producer
Film producers fill a variety of roles depending upon the type of producer. Either employed by a production company or independent, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting script, coordinating writing, directing and editing, and arranging financing. The average Hollywood film made in 2013 had just over 10 producer credits (3.2 producers, 4.4 executive producers, 1.2 co-producers, 0.8 associate producers and 0.5 other types of producer). During the "discovery stage", the producer has to find and acknowledge promising material. Then, unless the film is supposed to be based on an original script, the producer has to find an appropriate screenwriter.
For various reasons, producers cannot always personally supervise all of the production. As such, the main producer will appoint executive producers, line producers or unit production managers who represent the main producer's interests. Among other things, the producer has the last word on whether sounds or music have to be changed or scenes have to be cut and they are in charge of selling the film or arranging distribution rights. The producer's role can vary significantly from project to project and based on the circumstances and funding.

Film festival
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.

Short film
A short film is any film not long enough to be considered a feature film. Although no consensus exists as to where that boundary is drawn, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits". The term featurette originally applied to a film longer than a short subject, but shorter than a standard feature film.
The increasingly rare term short subject means approximately the same thing. An industry term, it carries more of an assumption that the film is shown as part of a presentation along with a feature film. Short is an abbreviation for either term. Short films are often screened at local, national, or international film festivals and made by independent filmmakers for non profit, either with a low budget or no budget at all. They are usually funded by film grants, non profit organizations, sponsor, or personal funds. Short films are generally used by filmmakers to gain experience and/or prove their talent in order to gain funding for future films from private investors, entertainment companies, or film studios.

Film
A film, also called a movie, motion picture or photoplay, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images due to the phi phenomenon. This optical illusion causes the audience to perceive continuous motion between separate objects viewed rapidly in succession. A film is created by photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera; by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques; by means of CGI and computer animation; or by a combination of some or all of these techniques and other visual effects. The word "cinema", short for cinematography, is often used to refer to the industry of films and filmmaking or to the art of filmmaking itself. The contemporary definition of cinema is the art of simulating experiences to communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations.
The process of filmmaking is both an art and an industry.

Festival
A festival is an event ordinarily celebrated by a community and centering on some characteristic aspect of that community and its religion or traditions, often marked as a local or national holiday, mela or eid. Next to religion and folklore, a significant origin is agricultural. Food is such a vital resource that many festivals are associated with harvest time. Festivals often serve to fulfill specific communal purposes, especially in regard to commemoration or thanksgiving. The celebrations offer a sense of belonging for religious, social, or geographical groups, contributing to group cohesiveness. They may also provide entertainment, which was particularly important to local communities before the advent of mass-produced entertainment. Festivals that focus on cultural or ethnic topics also seek to inform community members of their traditions; the involvement of elders sharing stories and experience provides a means for unity among families.

Plot: Chase Zellenberg is a young 20-something cancer patient who makes a living through being an extra. He then realizes that he has nothing left but to accept the gig he hated the most in the first place, he reluctantly accepts the zombie gig in the horror film, and with all his remaining strength, he puts on the greatest performance of his young career.

Plot: Theater artiste, Anubhav Malhotra, is looking for his first break on the silver screen when he runs into a fan in wealthy Meera Valecha. She will soon be faced with harsh reality when she comes to know that she is penniless, and it is Balram who, through a signed contract, controls her life. But nothing will prepare for the shock when she will find the real reason why Amar was attracted to her, and it is then she will head toward a nervous breakdown - that will bring drastic change to her already stressful lifestyle.

Ben Brand’s second short film 97% is the last step towards his first feature film ‘FIND THIS DUMB LITTLE BITCH AND THROW HER INTO A RIVER’ which has been shot during the summer of 2016. The film will be released early 2017. Ben Brand’s second short film 97% is the last step towards his first feature film ‘FIND THIS DUMB LITTLE BITCH AND THROW HER INTO A RIVER’ which has been shot during the summer of 2016. The film will be released early 2017.
In the past two years 97% (the dutch submission for the oscars 2014) has been selected for more than 70 international film festivals including Aspen Shortfest, Sapporo International Short Film Festival and the Asiana International Short Film Festival, winning numerous awards on it’s way. Ben Brand’s second short film 97% is the last step towards his first feature film ‘FIND THIS DUMB LITTLE BITCH AND THROW HER INTO A RIVER’ which has been shot during the summer of 2016. The film will be released early 2017.
In the past two years 97% (the dutch submission for the oscars 2014) has been selected for more than 70 international film festivals including Aspen Shortfest, Sapporo International Short Film Festival and the Asiana International Short Film Festival, winning numerous awards on it’s way. Via an app on his phone, Bert discovers that a 97% love match is near. Will he find her before the subway reaches the end of the line?
Ben Brand’s second short film 97% is the last step towards his first feature film ‘FIND THIS DUMB LITTLE BITCH AND THROW HER INTO A RIVER’ which has been shot during the summer of 2016. The film will be released early 2017.
In the past two years 97% (the dutch submission for the oscars 2014) has been selected for more than 70 international film festivals including Aspen Shortfest, Sapporo International Short Film Festival and the Asiana International Short Film Festival, winning numerous awards on it’s way.
