Lithuania's president Dalia Grybauskaitė is fast becoming the Kremlin’s latest hate-figure, with her straight-talking criticisms of the Putin regime drawing an angry response this week from the Russian Foreign Office after she called Russia a quote “terrorist state”. A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said Grybauskaitė’s comments were even worse than Ukrainian nationalists. Dalia Grybauskaitė has been an outspoken supporter of Ukraine and critic of Russian aggression following the Kremlin's invasion of Crimea and proxy war in eastern Ukraine.
