Obie Trice (born November 14, 1977) is an American rapper and songwriter. He is most known for his time spent signed to Shady Records. Since leaving the label, Trice has formed his own record label, Black Market Entertainment.
Obie Trice III was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan on the west side of the city along Schoolcraft Avenue by his father, along with three brothers. He is of African and German descent. Trice was given a karaoke machine by his mother when he was eleven and he used it to rhyme over instrumentals from artists such as N.W.A. By the age of fourteen, he was attending rap battle spots around Detroit, notably including the Hip Hop Shop, on which Trice commented, "There was a place called the Hip-hop Shop. We'd go up there on Saturday afternoons for the battles." They were hosted by Proof, from D12. I got a response every time I went. That's when I said, 'OK, I wanna get into this music.' Really, I didn't have a backup plan."
Obie Trice went by the name of Obie 1 during this time, but when he first met Proof, who was about to introduce him at the Hip Hop Shop, Proof asked him, "What's your name? Your real name, no gimmicks." He was then introduced as Obie Trice, and has kept his real name as his rap name. Trice was introduced to Eminem through D12 member Bizarre. Later, Trice received a call from his manager informing him that he would be having dinner with Eminem, and later that night they went to a Kid Rock party.
"Shit Hits The Fan" is the second single to be released from American rapper Obie Trice's debut studio album, Cheers. The song features vocals from Dr. Dre and Eminem. The song is essentially a diss track aimed towards Ja Rule, recorded in response to several lines from Ja Rule's song "Loose Change" which attacked Dr. Dre, Eminem, and 50 Cent among others.
The track is essentially a track which disses Ja Rule. Examples of disses from Dr. Dre in the track are: "This little nigga, Ja Rule, talking bout he's gonna slap me, nigga please, you gotta jump and swing up to hit me at the knees." At the end of the song, Obie spoke over the beat telling Ja Rule to, "Go behind all the gangsta's you want. Matter of fact get every gangsta from every hood in the United States of America to back you. Aint nobody reppin with you, you cant see that?" This was intended to mock Ja Rule's street credibility, declaring that no one was backing him again and that he "fell off."

Andre Romelle Young (born February 18, 1965), known by his stage name Dr. Dre, is an American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and current CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics. Dre was previously the co-owner of, and an artist on, Death Row Records. He has produced albums for and overseen the careers of many rappers, including The D.O.C., Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xzibit, Knoc-turn'al, 50 Cent, The Game and Kendrick Lamar. He is credited as a key figure in the popularization of West Coast G-funk, a style of rap music characterized as synthesizer-based with slow, heavy beats. In 2014, Dr. Dre was ranked as the second richest figure in the American hip hop scene by Forbes with a net worth of $550 million; he is at the top of the 2015 Forbes list, with an estimated pre-tax take of $620 million in 2014.
Dre began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru and later found fame with the influential gangsta rap group N.W.A with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, which popularized the use of explicit lyrics in rap to detail the violence of street life. His 1992 solo debut The Chronic, released under Death Row Records, led him to become one of the best-selling American performing artists of 1993 and to win a Grammy Award for the single "Let Me Ride". That same year he produced Death Row labelmate Snoop Dogg's quadruple platinum debut Doggystyle, and even molded artists into top-notch producers such as his step-brother Warren G, which led to his multi-platinum debut Regulate...G Funk Era in 1994, and Snoop Dogg's cousin Daz Dillinger which led to the double platinum debut album Dogg Food by Tha Dogg Pound in 1995.
The Obie Awards or Off-Broadway Theater Awards are annual awards originally given by The Village Voice newspaper to theatre artists and groups in New York City. In September 2014, the Awards were jointly presented and administered with the American Theatre Wing. As the Tony Awards cover Broadway productions, the Obie Awards cover Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway productions.
The Obie Awards were initiated by Edwin (Ed) Fancher, publisher of The Village Voice, who handled the financing and business side of the project. They were first given in 1956 under the direction of theater critic Jerry Tallmer. Initially, only Off-Broadway productions were eligible; in 1964, Off-Off-Broadway productions were made eligible.
With the exception of the Lifetime Achievement and Best New American Play awards, there are no fixed categories and the winning actors and actresses are in a single category titled "Performance". There are no announced nominations. Awards in the past have included performance, direction, best production, design, special citations, and sustained achievement. Not every category is awarded every year. The Village Voice also awards annual Obie grants to selected companies; in 2011, these grants were $2,000 each to Metropolitan Playhouse and Wakka Wakka Productions. There is also a Ross Wetzsteon Grant, named after its former theater editor, in the amount of $2,000 (in 2009; in 2011 the grant was $1,000), for a theatre that nurtures innovative new plays.
Marshall Bruce Mathers III (born October 17, 1972), known professionally as Eminem, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor from Detroit, Michigan. In addition to his solo career, he is a member of D12 and (with Royce da 5'9") half of the hip-hop duo Bad Meets Evil. Eminem is the best-selling artist of the 2000s in the United States. Rolling Stone ranked him 83rd on its list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, calling him the King of Hip Hop. Including his work with D12 and Bad Meets Evil, Eminem has had ten number-one albums on the Billboard 200. He has sold more than 172 million albums, making him one of the world's best-selling artists. As of June 2014, Eminem is the second-bestselling male artist of the Nielsen SoundScan era, the sixth-bestselling artist in the United States and the bestselling hip-hop artist, with sales of 45.1 million albums and 42 million tracks (including 31 million digital single certifications).
After his debut album Infinite (1996), Eminem achieved mainstream popularity in 1999 with his The Slim Shady LP, which earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. His next two releases, 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP and 2002's The Eminem Show, were worldwide successes, with each being certified diamond in US sales and both winning Best Rap Album Grammy Awards—making Eminem the first artist to win the award for three consecutive LPs. They were followed by Encore in 2004, another critical and commercial success. Eminem went on hiatus after touring in 2005, releasing Relapse in 2009 and Recovery in 2010. Both won Grammy Awards and Recovery was the best-selling album of 2010 worldwide—the second time he had the international best-selling album of the year (after The Eminem Show). Eminem's eighth album, 2013's The Marshall Mathers LP 2, won two Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album; it expanded his record for the most wins in that category and his Grammy total to 15.

http://www.vladtv.com - Detroit emcee Obie Trice was a little vexed with VladTV after his last interview with us in 2013. In the clip, Trice detailed times where Eminem would rewrite his lyrics after listening to his. According to him, we made it seem as if he was "sonning" Em. "I got a lot of flak for that s***," he tells us during his latest sit-down. Clearing up his statement, Obie Trice says "when I read a verse he saw my lyrics, he listened to the lyrics and he heard the rap. He was like 'f*** that I'm gonna rewrite my s***.'" After things were sorted out, the former Shady records artist was asked how he believes the world may feel if we were to ever find out Eminem used a reference track. Obie doesn't feel it would "tarnish anything," and "could he continue moving? Yes, indeed." "Bu...

Yes sir
They say I'm crazy
And I don't give a fuck
Loose in the club
40 by the nuts, crazy
Lay a nigga down like wha
Cause they don't know nothin' about me
Verse x1
Trice is the truth
Puncture your roof
If with, I annunciate ain't getting through to you
Listen nigga school craft raise me
Hey bay bay, you don't want to fuckin' play with me
I got the K covered up in the back
Got the pistol on my side
Nigga O stay strapped
Stacks in the jeans
Dis is a natural thing
I don't act out a movie
I'm actually the sssene
I pull up on the scene
Nigga holla back
Wit a bad bitch Italian and black
They don't take double takes
They take Kodak's
Coast through the club, relax
Where the vip at
Coast under the cub
Host underneath the dug
Suppose to
I'm a muthafukin' thug
But they say crazy
Cause he don't give a fuck
First nigga play me
Light his ass up
Verse x2
Yea I'm crazy
The hood made me
So O abide by the code on the daily
Niggas get it twisted
Bitches get it twisted
Cause I live like unrealistically
Hey, my nigga Breed in the booth wit me
Motor city till them pall bearers dip me
Underneath the soil
Ain't no future in your fronting
Nigga I'm Detroit loyal
(MC Breed)
Oh so what you know karate?
I know crazy
Hit you with something
Leave your left side lazy
Comin' for the whole shebang yea
Belie that
Take it like I want it
Get behind ya like I need that
Still I get more whassups than Martin
Get drunk come through
Bust up the party
Tonight, very night
Breed and Obie Trice
They say I ass crazy
And you muthafuckin' right
Verse x2
Say I need Ritalin
Cause when the chopper start rit-a-lin
Bodies start droppin', disappearin'
Tempers start flarin'
Nigga nuttin' up
Ain't no coming back from that bra
Hey, bad day some faggot in the bag
Give a fuck what neighborhood you at
What deal a dick you suckin'
When the pistol buckin'
Lord knows how my family's sufferin'
And I ain't the nigga that start the beef
I laid back
I ain't got a problem with G
But liquor in niggas like 12 hits of E
Suicidal
Somebody on they way to see Jesus
These daemons keep chasin' me
Get away from me
Or the AK speaks
No wonder why they see him as a freak
They say he crazy
In the muthafuckin' streets
Verse x2
