A bleep censor (or a "bleeping") is the replacement of a profanity or classified information with a beep sound (usually a 1000 Hz tone ) in television and radio.
Bleeping has been used for many years as a means of censoring TV programs to remove content not deemed suitable for "family" or "nighttime" viewing and personal information for privacy. The bleep censor is a software module, manually operated by a broadcast technician. A bleep is sometimes accompanied by a digital blur or box over the speaker's mouth in cases where the removed speech may still be easily understood by lip reading.
On closed caption subtitling, bleeped words are usually represented by the phrase "(bleep)", sometimes the phrase "[expletive]" or "[censored]", occasionally hyphens (e.g. f—k f---), and sometimes asterisks (e.g. ****, f***, f**k, f*ck, f#@k or f#@%), remaining faithful to the audio track. Where open captions are used (generally in instances where the speaker is not easily understood), a blank is used where the word is bleeped. Occasionally, bleeping is not reflected in the captions, allowing the unedited dialogue to be seen. Sometimes, a "black bar" can be seen for closed caption bleep, or pixelization.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is an American late-night talk show, created and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and broadcast on ABC. The nightly hour-long show made its debut on January 26, 2003, as the first program to air immediately following ABC's coverage of Super Bowl XXXVII. Jimmy Kimmel Live! is produced by Jackhole Productions in association with ABC Studios. Having aired for more than twice as long as either the The Dick Cavett Show (1969–1975) or Politically Incorrect (1997–2002), it is the longest running late-night talk show in ABC's history at 13 years and counting as of 15 February 2016.
For its first ten years, the show aired at either the Midnight or 12:05 AM timeslot before moving to 11:35 pm ET beginning on January 8, 2013 to more directly compete with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman while bumping the ABC nightly news program Nightline to 12:35 am ET. Following the subsequent retirements of Leno in February 2014 and Letterman in May 2015, Kimmel is now the longest serving host in network late-night television.

What if we bleeped out words that weren't curse words? What if we made a video seem dirty when it was not a dirty video at all? I took one of my recent Steve's Reviews videos and bleeped out words that weren't actually curse words. I took a very innoicent video and tried to make it seem dirty by just editing the clips in a certain way. How did I do? Here is the actual original Steve's Review Italian Salami video that was not a dirty video at all and I re-edited it. http://youtu.be/n4jdQU4Xal8 Like, subscribe & share to your social network. I appreciate it.
There is no actual swearing in this video. If you are offended it's because of your own dirty mind
What if we edited words in our videos to make it seemed like we were bleeping out cuss words? I took a few clips of mine and bleeped words as if I were using curse words. No curse words were actually spoken by me in these clips. Like, subscribe & share. I'll see you in my next video.
WARNING! This video may contain bleeped out words. No-one was hurt during the making of this video.
