Gender equality
Gender equality, also known as sex equality, gender egalitarianism, sexual equality or equality of the genders, is the view that both men and women should receive equal treatment and not be discriminated against based on their gender. This is the objective of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which seeks to create equality in law and in social situations, such as in democratic activities and securing equal pay for equal work. The related topic of rights is treated in two separate articles, Men's rights and Women's rights. In practice, the objective of gender equality is for people to acquire, if they so choose, equal treatment throughout a society, not just in politics, the workplace, or any other policy-designated sphere.
History
An early advocate for gender equality was Christine de Pizan, who in her 1405 book The Book of the City of Ladies wrote that the oppression of women is founded on irrational prejudice, pointing out numerous advances in society probably created by women.

Michelle Creber
Michelle Nicole Creber (born September 7, 1999) is a Canadian teen actress, singer, dancer, and voice actress. She is best known for being the voice of Apple Bloom (and the singing voice of Sweetie Belle in Seasons 1-3) in the TV series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. She was born to jazz pianist/producer Michael Creber, and vocalist/producer Monique Creber. Michelle first appeared on stage with her parents at the age of one and has performed in several movies, TV shows, musicals and animation series since.
On August 28, 2012, Creber released her first solo CD entitled Timeless: Songs of a Century. On December 1, 2012, she followed up the release with A Creber Christmas, featuring her entire family and popular musicians of the brony community. She frequently contributes to the brony community showing up to several brony conventions across the United States (and also the BUCKcon at Manchester, UK, in 2013 and the Galacon at Ludwigsburg, Germany, in 2015) and having her own Internet radio show, Saturday Night Songs, on the defunct brony media network "Everfree Network".

A Chihuahua-mix puppy was found in a Las Vegas airport bathroom with a handwritten note detailing that the dog's owner was fleeing from domestic violence and had run out of options, according to CBS News.
