Mike has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, and from that first moment his love affair with music and the instrument began. Fresh out of school at the age of 16 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and completed a year-long Diploma course.
After finishing the ACM his life as a full time musician began, playing in numerous bands and touring up and down the country playing iconic venues such asThe Shepherds Bush Empire, The Astoria, The Underworld and London’s Jazz Café. He’s also been fortunate enough to support industry legends Paul Weller, Blondie and Katie Melua.
Mike’s session work has led to his working on a variety of projects - from performing with stars such as Ricky Wilson and Diana Vickers, to appearing in many TV shows and adverts. Mike loves being on stage performing, but is equally at home recording in a studio - where he has worked with Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Seal, Atomic Kitten), Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Shakira, Bloc Party), and Mike Chapman (Blondie, Suzi Quatro).

Former model Rebecca Romijn, 43, told Entertainment Tonight last April that Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid “are not true supermodels,” and that she found it frustrating that social-media stars are now considered supermodels and setting style standards. Vanity Fair asked one of the original six, Stephanie Seymour, if she agreed, at Thursday night’s amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York.
“They are completely different than we were,” she said. “Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. [Kendall and Gigi] are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title.”
And what should their title be? “Bitches of the moment!” Seymour said with a laugh. “That would be a good title for them.”
While the debate rages on, Seymour is thankful that her modeling heyday happened before camera phones and photo sharing made anonymity virtually impossible.
“I’m so glad social media didn’t exist during our time. I’m a private person, and sharing everything feels odd to me,” she said. “And because there weren’t cameras around us all the time, we got away with so much more and had so much more fun. We didn’t have people watching us all the time, and we weren’t putting ourselves out there in a way that was turning the media against us or for us in any way. We still had our privacy, and there was more of an illusion behind the girls. You lose your illusion when you give much of yourself away, and that’s what I don’t like about it. I’m so glad it didn’t exist back then. I can’t imagine what it’s like for the girls today.”

In my opinion the Seymour Duncan's are far superior. The Seymour Duncan's are much more controlled and less noisy. They also have more clarity.

Hands On Review: Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
In this video I'm focusing on the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster pedal. The words usually associated with "boost pedal" are "transparent" and "clean," which is all well and good, but a boost pedal can be that and so much more; such is the case with the Pickup Booster.
Let's start with 25dB of clean, flat-EQ gain that can be used for a simple volume bump at lower settings. As I mentioned in the video, the Pickup Booster will give you more of your sound. It's voiced in every way to be complementary to guitar and the result is a very musical boost that hits the amp or the next pedal in the chain just right. Seymour Duncan's vast pickup knowledge and experience comes to the forefront here, using discrete Class A circuit design and getting just the right input impedance to achieve a sound that doesn't interfere with your basic tone but instead enhances it.
Higher settings of the Gain control yield the same open-sounding boost, but also can drive the front-end of an amp or pedal into an organic, dynamic break-up that really sounds and feels like you have an extra gain knob on your amp or pedal. In the video, you can see how the Deluxe and the Boss OD-1X responded when the Pickup Booster was engaged; more of "that sound." Setting the Gain control to 0dB turns the Pickup Booster into a line driver, which can make up for signal loss resulting from long cable runs or multiple pedals connected in series. This is where the "clean and transparent" description is most appropriate because you wouldn't know the Pickup Booster was engaged until you turned it off, then you'd surely miss it!
On top of being a great boost pedal, the Pickup Booster has a Resonance switch that mimics the frequency response of humbucking pickups, effectively turning your single-coil pickups into humbuckers. The Resonance switch has three positions, the "0" position is in the middle and is the neutral setting. Flipping the switch up puts it in the "1" position, which is voiced to sound like vintage humbuckers. Sonically, it adds a slight bump to the mids and rolls off some high end. It's really effective with overdrive but is great with a clean sound, too. The "2" position gives a modern humbucker sound with even more mids, creating a nice, chunky sound. You can hear in the video how the Resonance switch radically changes the tone of the guitar, offering yet another set of tonal options. Seymour recommends placing the Pickup Booster first in your signal chain with a cable, not a wireless, to take the most advantage of the Resonance switch's tonal variations.
The Pickup Booster generates very little noise on its own, especially considering how much level is on tap. The true-bypass switch also helps to keep your tone intact and the option to run the pedal at either 9v or 18V is very handy. Running the pedal at 18V adds just a bit more of an open quality to the sound but if you don't prefer that or if you want to keep your power supply chain simpler, the Pickup Booster does its thing at 9V, too. If you need to use battery power, there's an easy-access door on the bottom of the Pickup Booster.
I actually own one of the original SFX-01 Pickup Boosters and it was the perfect partner for my Strat. With the Gain at 10 o'clock and the Resonance switch set to "1", I could get the perfect boost for single lines or leads with a clean or dirty sound. Nice to see this pedal back with a few upgrades, very cool. Thanks for checking out the video.

Proof you can get Seymour (and most likely also ???? and Auron) again from Farplane Cup after releasing them. This video was created to support a forum post at gamefaqs:

According to Final Fantasy Wiki and many users on Gamefaqs, it is only possible to recruit ????, Auron and Seymour once. If they are ever released they can never be recruited again. I noticed this wasn't the case for me so I made this video and the forum post on Gamefaqs in hopes of finding other people with this anomaly.
As written in my forum post, I never released ????. I did release Auron and Seymour and was able to recruit them again multiple times.
This video was created during a New Game+, but I was already able to recruit them again prior to starting the New Game+.

Ability choices are done in a way to force creatures to use only Quick Attack unless they are severely hurt (in which case they should use Vigor) or one of them dies (in which case they should use Life or Full Life).
Esuna is there so they have 4 abilities. Otherwise they would learn Attack or their special abilities during the fights and consequently spam the hell out of them instead of using Quick Attack. Esuna was picked because it's only used if someone has an abnormal status (which never happens since they all have Ribbon auto ability).
Things like Attack Up or Nonparail would seem more useful, but given the nature of FFX-2's spell queue they'd hurt much more than they'd help.
Stats have beeen raised to the maximum with help of Iron Dukes, which can be farmed from Major Numerus with one creature in the Team using the Ray of Hope GG (20 Iron Dukes per fight).
Major Numerus can be easily defeated with a high level Almighty Shinra using the Last Resort GG. Several methods of obtaining him are detailed here:

Seymour Duncan
Seymour Duncan is an American company best known for manufacturing guitar and bass pickups. They also manufacture effects pedals which are designed and assembled in America. Guitarist and luthier Seymour W. Duncan and Cathy Carter Duncan founded the company in 1976, in Santa Barbara, California. Starting around 1983–84, Seymour Duncan pickups appeared in Kramer Guitars as standard equipment along with Floyd Rose locking vibratos, and can now be found on instruments from Fender guitars, Gibson guitars, Yamaha, ESP Guitars, Ibanez guitars, Mayones, Jackson guitars, Schecter, DBZ Diamond, Framus, Washburn, and others.

Seymour recommends placing the Pickup Booster first in your signal chain with a cable, not a wireless, to take the most advantage of the Resonance switch's tonal variations. The Pickup Booster generates very little noise on its own, especially considering how much level is on tap. The true-bypass switch also helps to keep your tone intact and the option to run the pedal at either 9v or 18V is very handy. Running the pedal at 18V adds just a bit more of an open quality to the sound but if you don't prefer that or if you want to keep your power supply chain simpler, the Pickup Booster does its thing at 9V, too. If you need to use battery power, there's an easy-access door on the bottom of the Pickup Booster. I actually own one of the original SFX-01 Pickup Boosters and it was the perfect partner for my Strat. With the Gain at 10 o'clock and the Resonance switch set to "1", I could get the perfect boost for single lines or leads with a clean or dirty sound. Proof you can get Seymour (and most likely also ???? and Auron) again from Farplane Cup after releasing them. This video was created to support a forum post at gamefaqs: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/643146-final-fantasy-x-x-2-hd-remaster/68980540 According to Final Fantasy Wiki and many users on Gamefaqs, it is only possible to recruit ????, Auron and Seymour once. If they are ever released they can never be recruited again. I noticed this wasn't the case for me so I made this video and the forum post on Gamefaqs in hopes of finding other people with this anomaly. As written in my forum post, I never released ????. I did release Auron and Seymour and was able to recruit them again multiple times. This video was created during a New Game+, but I was already able to recruit them again prior to starting the New Game+. Team used: -???? (Tidus) -Cactuar -Chocobo Stats, accessories, garment grids, dress-spheres and learned abilities are shown at the end of the video. Key to Success is used since it gives the "Critical" auto ability (not shown in the status screen). This Team was built similar to the team used in following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvNlFVcK1S0 Ability choices are done in a way to force creatures to use only Quick Attack unless they are severely hurt (in which case they should use Vigor) or one of them dies (in which case they should use Life or Full Life). Esuna is there so they have 4 abilities. Otherwise they would learn Attack or their special abilities during the fights and consequently spam the hell out of them instead of using Quick Attack. Esuna was picked because it's only used if someone has an abnormal status (which never happens since they all have Ribbon auto ability). Things like Attack Up or Nonparail would seem more useful, but given the nature of FFX-2's spell queue they'd hurt much more than they'd help. Stats have beeen raised to the maximum with help of Iron Dukes, which can be farmed from Major Numerus with one creature in the Team using the Ray of Hope GG (20 Iron Dukes per fight). Major Numerus can be easily defeated with a high level Almighty Shinra using the Last Resort GG. A quick drone flight up the slabby eastern side of the Seymour Cliffs, an impressive rock formation on the north side of Victoria Peak, Hong Kong. I am scouting some possible climbing and scrambling routes in this area, the much lesser known sister of its neighbour, the much more craggy western Seymour Cliffs (often known as "Central Crags"), which is to the right on this video. If you look closely at the top of the picture at the end, you will see people admiring the view from the Lugard Road Lookout.

Mike has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, and from that first moment his love affair with music and the instrument began. Fresh out of school at the age of 16 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and completed a year-long Diploma course.
After finishing the ACM his life as a full time musician began, playing in numerous bands and touring up and down the country playing iconic venues such asThe Shepherds Bush Empire, The Astoria, The Underworld and London’s Jazz Café. He’s also been fortunate enough to support industry legends Paul Weller, Blondie and Katie Melua.
Mike’s session work has led to his working on a variety of projects - from performing with stars such as Ricky Wilson and Diana Vickers, to appearing in many TV shows and adverts. Mike loves being on stage performing, but is equally at home recording in a studio - where he has worked with Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Seal, Atomic Kitten), Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Shakira, Bloc Party), and Mike Chapman (Blondie, Suzi Quatro).

Former model Rebecca Romijn, 43, told Entertainment Tonight last April that Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid “are not true supermodels,” and that she found it frustrating that social-media stars are now considered supermodels and setting style standards. Vanity Fair asked one of the original six, Stephanie Seymour, if she agreed, at Thursday night’s amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York.
“They are completely different than we were,” she said. “Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. [Kendall and Gigi] are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title.”
And what should their title be? “Bitches of the moment!” Seymour said with a laugh. “That would be a good title for them.”
While the debate rages on, Seymour is thankful that her modeling heyday happened before camera phones and photo sharing made anonymity virtually impossible.
“I’m so glad social media didn’t exist during our time. I’m a private person, and sharing everything feels odd to me,” she said. “And because there weren’t cameras around us all the time, we got away with so much more and had so much more fun. We didn’t have people watching us all the time, and we weren’t putting ourselves out there in a way that was turning the media against us or for us in any way. We still had our privacy, and there was more of an illusion behind the girls. You lose your illusion when you give much of yourself away, and that’s what I don’t like about it. I’m so glad it didn’t exist back then. I can’t imagine what it’s like for the girls today.”

Hands On Review: Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
In this video I'm focusing on the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster pedal. The words usually associated with "boost pedal" are "transparent" and "clean," which is all well and good, but a boost pedal can be that and so much more; such is the case with the Pickup Booster.
Let's start with 25dB of clean, flat-EQ gain that can be used for a simple volume bump at lower settings. As I mentioned in the video, the Pickup Booster will give you more of your sound. It's voiced in every way to be complementary to guitar and the result is a very musical boost that hits the amp or the next pedal in the chain just right. Seymour Duncan's vast pickup knowledge and experience comes to the forefront here, using discrete Class A circuit design and getting just the right input impedance to achieve a sound that doesn't interfere with your basic tone but instead enhances it.
Higher settings of the Gain control yield the same open-sounding boost, but also can drive the front-end of an amp or pedal into an organic, dynamic break-up that really sounds and feels like you have an extra gain knob on your amp or pedal. In the video, you can see how the Deluxe and the Boss OD-1X responded when the Pickup Booster was engaged; more of "that sound." Setting the Gain control to 0dB turns the Pickup Booster into a line driver, which can make up for signal loss resulting from long cable runs or multiple pedals connected in series. This is where the "clean and transparent" description is most appropriate because you wouldn't know the Pickup Booster was engaged until you turned it off, then you'd surely miss it!
On top of being a great boost pedal, the Pickup Booster has a Resonance switch that mimics the frequency response of humbucking pickups, effectively turning your single-coil pickups into humbuckers. The Resonance switch has three positions, the "0" position is in the middle and is the neutral setting. Flipping the switch up puts it in the "1" position, which is voiced to sound like vintage humbuckers. Sonically, it adds a slight bump to the mids and rolls off some high end. It's really effective with overdrive but is great with a clean sound, too. The "2" position gives a modern humbucker sound with even more mids, creating a nice, chunky sound. You can hear in the video how the Resonance switch radically changes the tone of the guitar, offering yet another set of tonal options. Seymour recommends placing the Pickup Booster first in your signal chain with a cable, not a wireless, to take the most advantage of the Resonance switch's tonal variations.
The Pickup Booster generates very little noise on its own, especially considering how much level is on tap. The true-bypass switch also helps to keep your tone intact and the option to run the pedal at either 9v or 18V is very handy. Running the pedal at 18V adds just a bit more of an open quality to the sound but if you don't prefer that or if you want to keep your power supply chain simpler, the Pickup Booster does its thing at 9V, too. If you need to use battery power, there's an easy-access door on the bottom of the Pickup Booster.
I actually own one of the original SFX-01 Pickup Boosters and it was the perfect partner for my Strat. With the Gain at 10 o'clock and the Resonance switch set to "1", I could get the perfect boost for single lines or leads with a clean or dirty sound. According to Final Fantasy Wiki and many users on Gamefaqs, it is only possible to recruit ????, Auron and Seymour once. If they are ever released they can never be recruited again. I noticed this wasn't the case for me so I made this video and the forum post on Gamefaqs in hopes of finding other people with this anomaly.
As written in my forum post, I never released ????. I did release Auron and Seymour and was able to recruit them again multiple times.
This video was created during a New Game+, but I was already able to recruit them again prior to starting the New Game+.

Ability choices are done in a way to force creatures to use only Quick Attack unless they are severely hurt (in which case they should use Vigor) or one of them dies (in which case they should use Life or Full Life).

According to Final Fantasy Wiki and many users on Gamefaqs, it is only possible to recruit ????, Auron and Seymour once. If they are ever released they can never be recruited again. I noticed this wasn't the case for me so I made this video and the forum post on Gamefaqs in hopes of finding other people with this anomaly.
As written in my forum post, I never released ????. I did release Auron and Seymour and was able to recruit them again multiple times.
This video was created during a New Game+, but I was already able to recruit them again prior to starting the New Game+.

Stats, accessories, garment grids, dress-spheres and learned abilities are shown at the end of the video. Key to Success is used since it gives the "Critical" auto ability (not shown in the status screen).

Other fauna in Spira, aside from those drawn from real animals, such as cats, dogs, birds, and butterflies, include the gigantic, amphibious shoopufs (which are similar to elephants); and the emu-like chocobo, which appears in most Final Fantasy games. Spira is very different from the mainly European-style worlds found in previous Final Fantasy games, being much more closely modeled on Southeast Asia, most notably with respect to vegetation, topography, architecture, and names.
There are seven main playable characters in Final Fantasy X, starting with Tidus, a cheerful young teenager and a star blitzball player from Zanarkand, who seeks a way home after an encounter with Sin transported him to Spira. To do so, he joins Yuna, a summoner on a journey to obtain the Final Aeon and defeat the enormous whale-like "Sin". Journeying with them are: Kimahri Ronso, a young warrior of the Ronso tribe who watched over Yuna during her childhood; Wakka, a blitzball player whose younger brother was killed by Sin; and Lulu, a stoic black mage close to Yuna and Wakka. During the journey, they are joined by Auron, a former warrior monk, who worked with both Tidus' and Yuna's fathers to defeat Sin 10 years prior; and Rikku, Yuna's cousin, a perky Al Bhed girl and the first friendly person Tidus meets upon arriving in Spira.

Final Fantasy X is set in the fictional world of Spira, consisting of one large landmass divided into three subcontinents, surrounded by small tropical islands. It features diverse climates, ranging from the tropical Besaid and Kilika islands, to the temperate Mi'ihen region, to the frigid Macalania and Mt. Gagazet areas. Although predominantly populated by humans, Spira features a variety of races. Among them are the Al Bhed, a technologically advanced but disenfranchised sub-group of humans with distinctive green eyes and unique language. The Guado are less human in appearance, with elongated fingers and other arboreal features. Still less human are the lion-like Ronso and the frog-like Hypello. A subset of Spira's sentient races are the "unsent", the strong-willed spirits of the dead that remain in corporeal form. In Spira, the dead who are not sent to the Farplane by a summoner come to envy the living and transform into "fiends", the monsters that are encountered throughout the game; however, unsent with strong attachments to the world of the living may retain their human form. Other fauna in Spira, aside from those drawn from real animals, such as cats, dogs, birds, and butterflies, include the gigantic, amphibious shoopufs (which are similar to elephants); and the emu-like chocobo, which appears in most Final Fantasy games. Spira is very different from the mainly European-style worlds found in previous Final Fantasy games, being much more closely modeled on Southeast Asia, most notably with respect to vegetation, topography, architecture, and names.
There are seven main playable characters in Final Fantasy X, starting with Tidus, a cheerful young teenager and a star blitzball player from Zanarkand, who seeks a way home after an encounter with Sin transported him to Spira. To do so, he joins Yuna, a summoner on a journey to obtain the Final Aeon and defeat the enormous whale-like "Sin". Journeying with them are: Kimahri Ronso, a young warrior of the Ronso tribe who watched over Yuna during her childhood; Wakka, a blitzball player whose younger brother was killed by Sin; and Lulu, a stoic black mage close to Yuna and Wakka. During the journey, they are joined by Auron, a former warrior monk, who worked with both Tidus' and Yuna's fathers to defeat Sin 10 years prior; and Rikku, Yuna's cousin, a perky Al Bhed girl and the first friendly person Tidus meets upon arriving in Spira.
