It's a sad day in South America. Telenovela actress and 2005 Miss Venezuela Monica Spear tragically died while on vacation in Caracas, Venezuela. Monica was traveling with her ex-husband Henry Thomas Berry and their 5-year-old daughter Maya when they were shot and killed while driving in their car. The family was driving down the highway when they got into a minor accident that stranded their car. Eventually armed men approached the car and opened fire, killing Monica and Henry in the process. Her daughter Maya was shot in the leg but thankfully she survived. Reportedly police found them because Monica and Henry had called a tow truck BEFORE the armed men attacked them. Monica, who appears in these very recent Instagram pictures liked by her thousands of fans, was 29 at the time of death and one of the most famous actresses in Venezuela. She appeared in nearly a dozen telenovelas.

Adnan Oktar is the most notorious cult leader in Turkey. In addition to introducing the world to his bizarre take on Islamic religion, the Muslim creationist credits himself with introducing his followers to feminism.
Oktar refers to his cadre of devoted women as "kittens." At his behest, the "kittens" shirk hijabs and traditional dress. Instead, they wear designer outfits, apply heavy makeup, and undergo plastic surgery. They also happen to be wealthy socialites.
Together, Oktar and his followers are ushering in what they call the new face of modern Islam. Oktar and his kittens even have their own television network to broadcast their views, which include discrediting evolution.
Broadly spends three strange days with the cult leader and his "kittens" to see what life in Oktar's cult is really like for women.

Five-inch heels, fuchsia bikes, the occasional pink-mohawked helmet: New Orleans's first all-female motorcycle club, Caramel Curves, isn't your typical biker gang. Founded in 2005 by the eponymous Caramel, the group was originally intended as a counterpart to a male biker crew. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the entire city and disbanded the club, however, its future was uncertain--until Caramel decided to bring the Curves back together again, this time as a club all their own. Today, they've created a community that encourages confidence, camaraderie, popping wheelies, and getting very creative when painting your preferred mode of transportation. The only rules: You have to be a woman and own a motorcycle to join. In our first episode of Girl Gangs, Broadly meets the members of this all-female collective and follows the pack as they ride the streets of the Big Easy.

Drag queen
A drag queen is a person, usually male, who dresses in drag and often acts with exaggerated femininity and in feminine gender roles. Often they will exaggerate certain characteristics such as make-up and eyelashes for comic, dramatic or satirical effect. While drag is very much associated with gay men and gay culture, there are drag artists of all sexualities. There are many kinds of drag artists and they vary greatly in dedication, from professionals who have starred in films to people who just try it once, or those who simply prefer clothing and makeup that is usually worn by the opposite sex in their culture. Drag queens can vary widely by class and culture. Other drag performers include drag kings, women who perform in male roles and attire, faux queens, who are women who dress in an exaggerated style to emulate drag queens, and faux kings, who are men who dress to impersonate drag kings.

Miss Venezuela
Miss Venezuela is a national Beauty pageant in Venezuela.
Under the direction of Osmel Sousa, Venezuela has accumulated more international pageant titles than any other country, including seven Miss Universe winners, six Miss World winners, seven Miss International winners and two Miss Earth winners.
The pageant is traditionally held in September, preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, including the awarding of corporate prizes. The final competition telecast generally lasts about four hours and is broadcast live across Latin America by Venevisión, with edited versions to the United States and Mexico on the Univision network. Since 2013, the national contest has been split into two separate pageants: Miss Venezuela (to select representatives to Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International) and Miss Venezuela Mundo (to select representative to Miss World).
Thousands of entrants apply for the pageant each year. Some young women would try for up to five or six years consecutively trying to get one of the 26 to 32 titles that will enable them to compete in the final pageant. Venezuela's 23 states, capital, and two regions of Zulia State are always represented; some years other regions of the country will have representatives in the pageant. Although some major states and regions such as Zulia, Táchira, Lara, Bolivar and Carabobo will hold their own preliminaries, many of the states are assigned by geographical proximity or even random drawing to the final contestants. There is therefore considerably less emphasis on state titles than there is in other national pageants such as Miss USA, although certain areas such as Miranda, Nueva Esparta, Capital District, Guarico and Carabobo always seem to achieve high results.

It's a sad day in South America. Telenovela actress and 2005 Miss Venezuela Monica Spear tragically died while on vacation in Caracas, Venezuela. Monica was traveling with her ex-husband Henry Thomas Berry and their 5-year-old daughter Maya when they were shot and killed while driving in their car. The family was driving down the highway when they got into a minor accident that stranded their car. Eventually armed men approached the car and opened fire, killing Monica and Henry in the process. Her daughter Maya was shot in the leg but thankfully she survived. Reportedly police found them because Monica and Henry had called a tow truck BEFORE the armed men attacked them. Monica, who appears in these very recent Instagram pictures liked by her thousands of fans, was 29 at the time of death and one of the most famous actresses in Venezuela. She appeared in nearly a dozen telenovelas.

Five-inch heels, fuchsia bikes, the occasional pink-mohawked helmet: New Orleans's first all-female motorcycle club, Caramel Curves, isn't your typical biker gang. Founded in 2005 by the eponymous Caramel, the group was originally intended as a counterpart to a male biker crew. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the entire city and disbanded the club, however, its future was uncertain--until Caramel decided to bring the Curves back together again, this time as a club all their own. Today, they've created a community that encourages confidence, camaraderie, popping wheelies, and getting very creative when painting your preferred mode of transportation. The only rules: You have to be a woman and own a motorcycle to join. In our first episode of Girl Gangs, Broadly meets the members of this all-female collective and follows the pack as they ride the streets of the Big Easy.

In this episode of A Day With, we meet with Monica Prata, founder of Nouveau She, a consulting business that supports transgender or transitioning individuals through any aspect of their life leading up to and, at times, beyond transition. After Monica left her promising career as a makeup artist, she worked as an assistant for world renowned San Francisco based facial feminization surgeon Douglas Ousterhout, where she became familiarized with the trans community. In NYC, where she now lives, Monica offers us an intimate glimpse into her work. We meet Chrissie, a 65 year old lawyer who is less than a few months away from living fully as a woman, as well as brother and sister Felix and Jeena who are both transitioning.

Bangladesh is one of the few Muslim nations where prostitution is legal, and the country’s largest brothel is called Daulatdia, where more than 1,500 women and girls sell sex to thousands of men every day. Daulatdia is infamous for drug abuse and underage prostitution, and many of its sex workers are victims of sexual slavery who were trafficked into the area and sold to a pimp or a madam. They are forced to work off the fee that was paid for them, a debt that takes years to clear because they receive as little as a dollar for sex. The Number of the Beast (Greek: Ἀριθμὸς τοῦ θηρίου, Arithmos tou Thēriou) is the numerical value of the name of the person symbolized by the beast from the sea, the first of two symbolic beasts described in chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation. In most manuscripts of the New Testament the number is 666, but the variant 616 is found in critical editions of the Greek text, such as the Novum Testamentum Graece. Most scholars believe that the number of the beast equates to Emperor Nero, whose name in Greek when transliterated into Hebrew, retains the value of 666, whereas his Latin name transliterated into Hebrew, is 616. Bangladesh is one of the few Muslim nations where prostitution is legal, and the country’s largest brothel is called Daulatdia, where more than 1,500 women and girls sell sex to thousands of men every day.
Daulatdia is infamous for drug abuse and underage prostitution, and many of its sex workers are victims of sexual slavery who were trafficked into the area and sold to a pimp or a madam. They are forced to work off the fee that was paid for them, a debt that takes years to clear because they receive as little as a dollar for sex.
VICE News correspondent Tania Rashid visited the notorious Bangladeshi brothel — where human trafficking, underage prostitution, and drugs are commonplace — and met the traffickers and the trafficked, as well as the clientele.

Hey ASMR Poopsie! Here is my first and new exciting dummy head microphone test video! His name is Mike. I will be using various objects to make sound tests on this mic, including a bath sponge, q tips, makeup fan brush, dental floss, tissues, makeup brush spray on tissue and face cleaning, as well as ear to ear whispering, soft spoken, ear cupping, tapping on the face, face massage, and overall epic stuff.
I saw these around Youtube a bit, not that much. Since these mics can be so pricey I decided to wait a while but I cannot believe my eyes when I saw the package and opened it. To my surprise it is a wonderful beauty and my FAVORITE microphone so far! The sounds are amazing, the head can be used for various ASMR projects. I can simply mount the camera to the top and the mic in the back and get to working. It is so effortless and easy to understand. I love the way the craft is designed to perfection. The fact that it can block out external sounds well such as ambience, and the fact that it is the perfect size to fit onto screen well enough and be seen. I had such hard time with other mics but I will still be using the others for various other things that may be complex to fit a dummy head into.

The Vox Machina form a tentative alliance with an Illithid outcast named Clarota, deep inside the caverns under Kraghammer. They learn of the creature's people and their subjugation to a mysterious being known only as Kvarn, as well as the haggard mind flayer's expulsion from the hive. Now cut off from the Elder Brain, Clarota burns with hatred for this Kvarn, and wishes to free the Illithid race from the usurping entity. In order to do so, the Vox Machina must proceed further into the deep, and reach the center of Clarota’s hive. But in order for the heroes of Emon to reach the Illithid city in the belly of Khaloor, they must get past the first flayer they encountered, as well as its small army of Duergar.
The heroes devise a plan, and fly themselves down to the center of the enemey’s war camp, to chance a risky assassination attempt on a creature that could easily break their will with a glance.

With Grog’s mind now silenced, the twins fall upon the last surviving Duergar. Vex’ahlia presses their dwarven captive for information. The Duergar only laughs at the barbarian's plight, and spits out warnings of the “master” that awaits them below, before Vax’ildan finally puts her out of her misery. After an uneasy night’s rest for the party and hours of meditation for Keylith, the druid is thankfully able to restore Grog’s mind, and the Vox Machina continue down through the great cavern. They pass through a gutted goblin village strewn with corpses, and eventually spy another group of Duergar, dragging along 3 dwarven captives. Scanlan and the twins whip out their flying carpet and tail the Duergar from afar, over a thin, creeking rope bridge. Scanlon disappears from sight, and now invisible, carefully makes his way into a war camp teeming with dark dwarves, ogres, and trolls. There he bears witness to an Illithid controlling all those around him, devouring the mind of one of the three dwarven miners.
After catching his companions up, the group hatches a plan to lure their enemies into an illusion and drop them to their doom, into the cavern below the bridge. It is partially successful, but then, while acting as living bait, Vax’s mind is stunned by the Illithid and he is almost dropped to his death before Tiberius swoops in to save him.
With the plan now in disarray, Vex and Keylith decide to delve into the chasm below the bridge, in spite of their companions’ protests. Their instincts serve them well though, and hidden behind a subterranean waterfall they find a cave. Within it awaits a powerful and unlikely ally.

After Scanlon Shorthalt brought the abomination of a Naga to it’s tortured end, the Vox Machina vowed to Nostoc Greyspine to put an end to the darkness now bubbling up out of the bowls of the earth. The team quickly gears up and makes their way into the mine, and begins a miles long trek down into the veins of Khaloor. After many hours wandering the dark, they reach a subterranean river within a massive, inky cavern where they are are attacked by a pair of umberhulks. The beasts are dispatched without too much difficulty, but in a fit of rage and shortsightedness, Grog charges toward a flickering light further off in the cavern. He stumbles across several Duergar, dark cousins of the dwarves above, as well as a skittering, four legged brain. The wretched thing is killed quickly, but not before lashing out at Grog’s psyche. The goliath’s mind is broken, and he falls to the ground in a heap.

In most manuscripts of the New Testament the number is 666, but the variant 616 is found in critical editions of the Greek text, such as the Novum Testamentum Graece.
Most scholars believe that the number of the beast equates to Emperor Nero, whose name in Greek when transliterated into Hebrew, retains the value of 666, whereas his Latin name transliterated into Hebrew, is 616. The "mark of the beast" is used to distinguish the beast's followers. Revelation 13:17 says that the mark is "the name of the beast or the number of his name". Because of this, it is widely thought among dispensationalists that the mark will be some future representation of the actual number 666. It has also been speculated that the "mark" may be an Imperial Roman seal, or the Emperor's head on Roman coins.
