Nathaniel S. Borenstein (born September 23, 1957) is an American computer scientist. He is one of the original designers of the MIME protocol for formatting multimedia Internet electronic mail and sent the first e-mail attachment.
Borenstein received a B.A. in Mathematics and Religious Studies from Grinnell College in 1980, and a Ph.D in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1985. Previously he attended Ohio State University (1974–75), Deep Springs College, California (1975–76), and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel (1978–79). While at CMU, he co-developed the email component of the Andrew Project. The Andrew Message System was the first multi-media electronic mail system to become used outside of a laboratory. In 1989 he became a member of technical staff at Bellcore (Bell Communications Research). There he developed a series of standards so the various electronic mail systems could exchange multimedia messages in a common way. He is responsible for sending the first email attachment on March 11, 1992.
Nimrod Borenstein (born 1969) is a British- French- Israeli composer whose music is widely performed throughout Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and Japan. His works are becoming part of the repertoire of many ensembles and orchestras.
Born in Tel Aviv, Nimrod grew up in Paris where he started his musical education at the age of 3. In 1984 he became a Laureat of the Cziffra Foundation and subsequently moved to London in 1986 to pursue his studies as a violinist with Itzhak Rashkovsky at the Royal College of Music. He was then awarded the highest scholarship from the Leverhulme Trust to study composition with Paul Patterson at the Royal Academy of Music. He is now an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music and is listed amongst the alumni as an illustrious past student.
Vladimir Ashkenazy has been a supporter of Nimrod's music for many years. In 2013 he conducted the Philharmonia Orchestra for a performance of The Big Bang and Creation of the Universe. Later that year Ashkenazy conducted the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall for the world premiere of If you will it, it is no dream, a piece written especially for the occasion.
Vladimir Davidovich Ashkenazy (Russian: Влади́мир Дави́дович Ашкена́зи, Vladimir Davidovich Ashkenazi; born July 6, 1937) is a pianist and conductor, originally from Russia, who has held Icelandic citizenship since 1972. He has lived in Switzerland since 1978.
Ashkenazy was born in Gorky, Soviet Union (now Nizhny Novgorod, Russia), to the pianist and composer David Ashkenazi and to the actress Yevstolia Grigorievna, born Plotnova. His father was Jewish and his mother was the daughter of a family of Russian Orthodox peasants.
He began playing piano at the age of six. He was accepted to the Central Music School at age eight studying with Anaida Sumbatyan. Ashkenazy attended the Moscow Conservatory where he studied with Lev Oborin and Boris Zemliansky. He won second prize in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1955 and the first prize in the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in Brussels in 1956. He shared the first prize in the 1962 International Tchaikovsky Competition with British pianist John Ogdon. As a student, like many in that period, he was harassed by the KGB to become an "informer". He did not really cooperate, despite pressures from the authorities. In 1961 he married the Iceland-born Þórunn Jóhannsdóttir, who studied piano at the Moscow Conservatoire. To marry Ashkenazy, Þórunn was forced to give up her Icelandic citizenship and declare that she wanted to live in the USSR. (Her name is usually transliterated as Thorunn and her nickname was Dódý. She recorded as Dódý Ashkenazy.)
The Shell is an alternative rock band from St. Gallen, Switzerland. They currently are Patrice Lambeau (vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Frommenwiler (bass), Sacha Leuenberger (lead guitar) and Christoph Schorro (drums). The band was formed by childhood friends Lambeau and Fromenwiler in 1996 and have since gone on to enjoy success in their native Switzerland and throughout Europe.
Lambeau and Fromenwiler formed The Shell in spring 1996. After an unsuccessful search for band members in St. Gallen they moved to San Francisco in 1998 where they played a series of live shows with a local drummer. Upon returning to Switzerland they joined with drummer Roger Cadalbert and guitarist Raphael Cernelc before moving to London in 2000 where for six months they played a series of shows and worked on new material.
In February 2001 the band recorded their first demo CD in Stuttgart, Germany which was supported by shows at Rock am See, the Montreux Jazz Festival, St. Gallen Open Air and a support act with grunge band Bush.
An orchestra (/ˈɔːrkᵻstrə/ or US /ˈɔːrˌkɛstrə/; Italian: [orˈkɛstra]) is a large instrumental ensemble used in classical music that contains sections of string (violin, viola, cello and double bass), brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Other instruments such as the piano and celesta may sometimes be grouped into a fifth section such as a keyboard section or may stand alone, as may the concert harp and, for 20th and 21st century compositions, electric and electronic instruments. The term orchestra derives from the Greek ὀρχήστρα, the name for the area in front of an ancient Greek stage reserved for the Greek chorus. The orchestra grew by accretion throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, but changed very little in composition during the course of the 20th century.

Net of Rights is a short documentary film which explores the relation between Internet protocols and the promotion and protection of Human Rights. Internet Engineers have defined the Internet as a network of networks, providing connectivity for all users, at all times, for any content. Internet connectivity increases the capacity for individuals to exercise their rights, the core of the Internet, its architectural design is therefore closely intertwined with the human rights framework. However, the assertion that technology and the design of standards and protocols is a ethically neutral task are still commonplace. The series of interviews recorded during the 92nd meeting of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), held in Dallas, Texas, in March 2015, demonstrated that this belief in ...

Internet firms will be required to give intelligence agency GCHQ access to communications on demand, in real time. The Home Office says the move is key to tackling crime and terrorism, but civil liberties groups have criticised it. Tory MP David Davis called it "an unnecessary extension of the ability of the state to snoop on ordinary people". Attempts by the last Labour government to take similar steps failed after huge opposition, including from the Tories. 'Unprecedented step' A new law - which may be announced in the forthcoming Queen's Speech in May - would not allow GCHQ to access the content of emails, ...

Zach Borenstein, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks — June 19-20, 2017 — Reno Aces (Triple-A Pacific Coast League) Arizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Zach Borenstein bats for the Reno Aces during a June 19-20, 2017 Triple-A Pacific Coast League series against the Las Vegas 51s (New York Mets) at Greater Nevada Field in Reno, Nevada. Across 122 games (384 at-bats) in 2017, Zach Borenstein slashed .279/.351/.573/.924 with 27 doubles, 24 home runs, 45 walks, and 126 strikeouts. Borenstein goes the other way fairly well into left-center field with a decent power alley there, and he has a good bat plane and swing mechanics to produce loft, to go along with raw natural strength that makes him a power hitter. That said, he struggles with pitch recognition and is susceptible to getting beat both soft a...

Hey, uh, babe
Sweet, uh, baby
Come on, come on, my bay-ay-by
Lay right down, relax, unwind
Ooh, boy I know just how you feel
With a girl, straight forward & so real
Come real close
And don't be shy
I'll give you good love
Don't ask me why, yeah
Ooh, I feel what I say
Believe it, I'm real
Ain't no time to be fake
I see what I want
And I go for mine
So come get it now
Don't ask questions 'til the end
(Chorus)
Ooh-wee, you look so good
Won't you party wit me if you could
Hold me, kiss me, squeeze me tight
Let's make love all day & night
Ooh, boy, take my hand
I'll make sure you're soon a man
Lay right down, relax, unwind
I want your soul, your body, your mind
I want the kind of love that drive me [crazy]
Can you give me that, my big strong [baby]
The kind of love I will always [feel]
What I finds whenever you're [near]
Feels so good my knees are shakin'
But this here is for the takin'
Let's get wild & don't be shy
Love so real, you'll scream all night
(Chorus)
Ooh, I say what I feel
And I feel what I say
Believe it, I'm real
Ain't no time for me, boo, to be fake
I see what I want
And ya know I gotta go for mine
So come get it now
Don't you ask me no questions
(Chorus)

You look so good
Won't you party wit me if you could
