A powerful action thriller, ARSENAL tells the intertwining stories of the Lindel brothers, Mikey (Johnathon Schaech) and JP (Adrian Grenier), who had only each other to rely on growing up. As adults, JP found success as the owner of a construction company, while Mikey became a small-time mobster, mired in a life of petty crime.
When Mikey is kidnapped and held for a ransom by ruthless crime boss Eddie King (Nicolas Cage), JP turns to the brothers’ old pal Sal (John Cusack), a plain clothes detective for help. In order to rescue his brother, JP must risk everything and unleash his vengeance against King’s relentless army of gangsters.

Arsenal (film)
Arsenal (Russian: Арсенал, also alternative title January Uprising in Kiev in 1918) is a Soviet film by Ukrainian director Alexander Dovzhenko. The film was made in 1928 and released early in 1929. It is the second film in his "Ukraine Trilogy", the first being Zvenigora (1928) and the third being Earth (1930).
The film concerns an episode in the Russian Civil War in 1918 in which the Kiev Arsenal January Uprising of workers aided the besieging Bolshevik army against the Ukrainian national Parliament Central Rada who held legal power in Ukraine at the time. Regarded by film scholar Vance Kepley, Jr. as "one of the few Soviet political films which seems even to cast doubt on the morality of violent retribution", Dovzhenko's eye for wartime absurdities (for example, an attack on an empty trench) anticipates later pacifist sentiments in films by Jean Renoir and Stanley Kubrick.

Royal Arsenal Riverside / Waterfront is a new riverside neighbourhood in Woolwich Arsenal and comprises of 91 luxury apartments with views overlooking the river and towards Canary Wharf. This property development will be delivered in 2017. Hunter Design commissioned a series of films to cover a wide range of topics all relating to this new property: the architecture and interior design, the landscaping around the Waterfront, upcoming Crossrail and transportation links, the parks and heritage of Greenwich and Blackheath, and London life. Over the course of several weeks we shot and edited a main brand video, cut to a new track especially composed for Berkeley. This edit organically grew over time with new CG material and additional footage becoming available adding more production value to the film. Plot: "Out 1" is a very precise picture of post May '68 malaise - when Utopian dreams of a new society had crashed and burned, radical terrorism was starting to emerge in unlikely places and a great many other things. Two marginals who don't know one another stumble into the remnants of a "secret society": Colin, a seemingly deaf-mute who all of a sudden begins to talk and Frederique, a con artist working the "short con" (stealing drinks and tricking men who think she's a hooker out of their money). Meanwhile there are two theater groups rehearsing classic Greek dramas: "Seven Against Thebes" and "Prometheus Bound". A member of the Moretti group passes a note to Leaud about "The 13" which sends Leaud on a search for "The 13". His search brings him eventually to Bulle Ogier's shop in Les Halles "L'Angle du Hasard." Berto follows much the same path when she steals a cachet of letters from Jacques Doniol-Valcroze and tries to get money from their owners for their return. These twin activities reactivate "The 13" which had been dormant for years, revealing among other things that the two theater groups were once one.

Royal Arsenal Riverside / Waterfront is a new riverside neighbourhood in Woolwich Arsenal and comprises of 91 luxury apartments with views overlooking the river and towards Canary Wharf. This property development will be delivered in 2017. Hunter Design commissioned a series of films to cover a wide range of topics all relating to this new property: the architecture and interior design, the landscaping around the Waterfront, upcoming Crossrail and transportation links, the parks and heritage of Greenwich and Blackheath, and London life. Over the course of several weeks we shot and edited a main brand video, cut to a new track especially composed for Berkeley. This edit organically grew over time with new CG material and additional footage becoming available adding more production value ...

FX's Justified Promo 3D projection
http://www.Thearsenal.tv the multimedia production company representing http://www.Onesize.nl handled the large-scale promotional campaign for FX’s new show "Justified", based on an Elmore Leonard character. Onesize was asked to direct, supervise and post-produce the promo in close co-operation with the talented people of FX networks. They asked me to join their ranks in the 3D camera projection of the characters and surroundings. You can see the seperate visual effects shots and animatic on my vimeo page here: http://vimeo.com/11658369 In this promo we applied the same technique that was used in the Playgrounds titles film. The big difference in post production (compared to the Playgrounds film) were all the detailed backgrounds we had to put in 3D as well. Quite a challenge.

Royal Arsenal Riverside / Waterfront is a new riverside neighbourhood in Woolwich Arsenal and comprises of 91 luxury apartments with views overlooking the river and towards Canary Wharf. This property development will be delivered in 2017.
Hunter Design commissioned a series of films to cover a wide range of topics all relating to this new property: the architecture and interior design, the landscaping around the Waterfront, upcoming Crossrail and transportation links, the parks and heritage of Greenwich and Blackheath, and London life.
Over the course of several weeks we shot and edited a main brand video, cut to a new track especially composed for Berkeley. This edit organically grew over time with new CG material and additional footage becoming available adding more production value to the film. A series of mini films highlight specific elements of the Riverside. All feature on the Berkeley website and are shown on events and exhibitions across the globe.

Royal Arsenal Riverside / Waterfront is a new riverside neighbourhood in Woolwich Arsenal and comprises of 91 luxury apartments with views overlooking the river and towards Canary Wharf. This property development will be delivered in 2017.
Hunter Design commissioned a series of films to cover a wide range of topics all relating to this new property: the architecture and interior design, the landscaping around the Waterfront, upcoming Crossrail and transportation links, the parks and heritage of Greenwich and Blackheath, and London life.
Over the course of several weeks we shot and edited a main brand video, cut to a new track especially composed for Berkeley. This edit organically grew over time with new CG material and additional footage becoming available adding more production value to the film. A series of mini films highlight specific elements of the Riverside. All feature on the Berkeley website and are shown on events and exhibitions across the globe.

http://www.Thearsenal.tv the multimedia production company representing http://www.Onesize.nl handled the large-scale promotional campaign for FX’s new show "Justified", based on an Elmore Leonard character.
Onesize was asked to direct, supervise and post-produce the promo in close co-operation with the talented people of FX networks. They asked me to join their ranks in the 3D camera projection of the characters and surroundings. You can see the seperate visual effects shots and animatic on my vimeo page here: http://vimeo.com/11658369
In this promo we applied the same technique that was used in the Playgrounds titles film. The big difference in post production (compared to the Playgrounds film) were all the detailed backgrounds we had to put in 3D as well. Quite a challenge.

INTENTIONS :
Our adaptation confronts the medieval tradition of Christian plays (Mystères) with the film Theorema by Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini. The show presents an upper class modern day family, whose 5 members progressively mysticisim and religious faith, thanks to an attractive messenger named… Sébatien.
The production combines spoken dialogues, arias, orchestral and choral music. By combining Middle Ages arrows adn archers with modern day tatoos, the show bridges the gap between ancient religious theater and contemporary quest for spirituality. Our Martyre is indeed a religious fable inspired by the Middle Ages, but clearly designed for contemporary audiences.
A PROPOS :
S’il est un motif qui reste dans la mémoire après avoir assisté à cette décapante adaptation du Martyre de Saint Sébastien, c’est assurément celui du tatouage. En mémoire du passage de Sébastien et de la révélation qu’il apporte, sur cinq corps, cinq peaux différentes, on peut lire en effet cette phrase: «Seigneur, je suis une âme dans ton sein».
Le spectacle superpose plusieurs niveaux de narration: une action scénique, l’orchestre et les choeurs, des textes parlés ainsi que des projections numériques. Mais, fidèles à l’esprit du Mystère de Debussy, nous retravaillons le code de l’Adresse au spectateur, propre aux Mystères du Moyen âge. La relecture proposée est résolument ancrée dans une esthétique actuelle, qui n’hésite pas à s’inspirer du film Théorème de Pier Paolo Pasolini : Dans une famille bourgeoise, chacun cède ainsi aux séductions mystico-érotiques d’un trouble inconnu nommé... Sébastien.

Si “Arsenal” est un film moins connu du grand public que les grands classiques du cinéma russe (“Potemkine”, “L’homme à la caméra”, “La grève”…) il n’en reste pas
moins une oeuvre majeure de l’histoire du cinéma, à (re)découvrir absolument.
Ce film éminemment politique où l’image devient l’idée, fait de l’Histoire une réalité sensible presque palpable. Mais au-delà de son importance historique, “Arsenal”
est surtout un film envoûtant…
Tout à la fois lyrique, drôle, pathétique, il subjugue par son esthétisme et frappe par sa modernité.
Comme l’écrivaient, dans une critique enthousiaste, un groupe d’ouvriers moscovites à la sortie du film en 1929, “Arsenal n’est pas une histoire, c’est un poème”.
Le propos :
1918, la guerre des tranchées, irréelle d’horreur, la misère dans les campagnes.
Timosch, revenu du front avec d’autres déserteurs, incite les ouvriers de l’Arsenal à prendre les armes pour défendre, contre le nationalisme ukrainien, la Révolution. Une insurrection sauvagement réprimée. Mais Timosh, criblé de balles par les cosaques, demeure debout dans son invincibilité.
La musique :
La musique, écrite par Pierre Badaroux-Bessalel, propose un univers acoustique original, où guitare acoustique, violoncelle, contrebasse et traitement sonores forment un quatuor à corde revisité.
Elle se construit en strate autour d’écritures thématiques, d’improvisations et d’un univers sonore acousmatique bâti sur le traitement de la table d’harmonie d’un piano préparé, souvenir de vieux muets accompagnés, et/ou le jeu en direct d’un cymbalum, jusqu’à la reprise en direct des trois instruments «traditionnels».
Toujours mélodiques, les compositions croisent tour à tour le jazz contemporain et les musiques improvisées, avec des accents de musique concrète, répétitive, ou de chambre…
Dans ce concert-spectacle, la musique est comme un nouvel espace de la narration filmique.
L’accompagnant ou s’en affranchissant, elle est un contrepoint qui rend aux images toute leur merveilleuse dimension esthétique.

Studio Hansa completed the rebrand of CBS' portfolio of TV channels across EMEA.
Action offers us a glimpse into yet another fantastical world. Part hangar, part shooting range, Action contains a vivid orange-branded rail that weaves throughout.
The embodiment of the turbulent journey of action narratives, we follow a cart as it hurtles and weaves it's way through. However it is no ordinary vessel, producing an arsenal of weaponry it amazingly conquers every target that surprises us along the way…from pinball paddles, kung-fu fighters and alien beings.
The idea reinforces the iconic colour-based proposition of CBS Chellozone (orange) coupled with the premium space and the high-adrenaline spectacle of action based stories.
