Płock County
Płock County (Polish: powiat płocki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Masovian Voivodeship, east-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat is the city of Płock, although the city is not part of the county (it constitutes a separate city county). The county contains three towns: Gąbin, 17 km (11 mi) south of Płock, Drobin, 29 km (18 mi) north-east of Płock, and Wyszogród, 39 km (24 mi) south-east of Płock.
The county covers an area of 1,798.71 square kilometres (694.5 sq mi). As of 2006 its total population is 106,455, out of which the population of Gąbin is 4,137, that of Drobin is 2,980, that of Wyszogród is 2,772, and the rural population is 96,566.

Apart from the city of Płock, Płock County is also bordered by Sierpc County to the north, Płońsk County to the east, Sochaczew County to the south-east, Gostynin County to the south-west, Włocławek County to the west and Lipno County to the north-west.

Słupno [ˈswupnɔ] is a village in Płock County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Słupno. It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Płock and 86 km (53 mi) west of Warsaw.
The village has a population of 790.
The history of the village dates back to the 10th century, when a medieval Slavic stronghold was built at the site. The oldest known mention of the village dates back to the 12th century. In 1254, komes Żyro (local administration official) granted the village to the Płock Cathedral, and in 1443, Płock bishop Paweł Giżycki granted the village to archdeacon Ścibor.During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), Archbishop of Płock Antoni Julian Nowowiejski, and suffragan Bishop Leon Wetmański, two of the 108 Blessed Polish Martyrs of World War II, were imprisoned in the village, before they were murdered in the Soldau concentration camp in 1941. In 1942 the Germans carried out a massacre of 25 Polish inhabitants of Słupno and nearby settlements. There is a monument dedicated to the victims in the village.There is a historic preserved wooden church of St. Martin in the village.

W latach 1975–1998 miasto było stolicą województwa płockiego.
Według danych GUS z 31 grudnia 2017 r. miasto liczyło 120 787 mieszkańców.

It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Przasnysz, which lies 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Warsaw. The only other town in the county is Chorzele, lying 26 km (16 mi) north of Przasnysz. The county covers an area of 1,217.82 square kilometres (470.2 sq mi). As of 2019 its total population is 52,616, out of which the population of Przasnysz is 17,264, that of Chorzele is 3,088, and the rural population is 32,324.

Płock County
Płock County (Polish: powiat płocki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Masovian Voivodeship, east-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat is the city of Płock, although the city is not part of the county (it constitutes a separate city county). The county contains three towns: Gąbin, 17 km (11 mi) south of Płock, Drobin, 29 km (18 mi) north-east of Płock, and Wyszogród, 39 km (24 mi) south-east of Płock.
The county covers an area of 1,798.71 square kilometres (694.5 sq mi). As of 2006 its total population is 106,455, out of which the population of Gąbin is 4,137, that of Drobin is 2,980, that of Wyszogród is 2,772, and the rural population is 96,566.
Neighbouring counties
Apart from the city of Płock, Płock County is also bordered by Sierpc County to the north, Płońsk County to the east, Sochaczew County to the south-east, Gostynin County to the south-west, Włocławek County to the west and Lipno County to the north-west.
