"Fall in Love" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Kenny Chesney. It was released in March 1995 as the lead single from his album All I Need to Know. It peaked at number 6 in both the United States and Canada. Chesney wrote the song with Buddy Brock and Kim Williams

Critical reception

Larry Flick, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song unfavorably saying that Chesney "seems somewhat straightjacketed by this sunny pop song." He tells the label to let Chesney "sink his teeth into some hardcore country."

Thelma Aoyama

Thelma Aoyama (青山 テルマ, Aoyama Teruma), born October 27, 1987, is a Japanese pop and R&B singer. She is part Afro-Trinidadian and Japanese.

She is known for her collaboration song with SoulJa, "Koko ni Iru yo", and her answer song "Soba ni Iru ne". In September 2008, the Guinness World Records certified that "Soba ni Iru ne" was the best-selling digital download single in Japan with over two million "full-track" downloads (Chaku Uta Full). Including various forms of digital downloads, it sold over 8.7 million downloads by November 2008. The Guinness record was surpassed by Greeeen's song "Kiseki" in June 2009.

Biography

She spent six years at Osaka International School as an elementary school student. At age 12, her family moved to Torrance, California, where she lived for two years and attended Calle Mayor Middle School. She returned to Japan in the winter of 2002, settling in Tokyo. Aoyama attended the American School in Japan. She attended Sophia University.

Aoyama was inspired to become a performer by Janet Jackson. Her first release in the music world was a collaboration on DS455's single "Summer Paradise: Risin' To Tha Sun, feat. Aoyama Thelma". The single reached #46 on the Oricon charts. On September 9, 2007, Aoyama made her solo debut with the single "One Way". This single debuted at #98 on the Oricon charts. Two weeks later, Aoyama was featured on the hit single "Koko ni Iru yo" with fellow J-Soul artist SoulJa. The single stayed on the charts for many weeks. The single sold over 100,000 copies and reached #6 on the charts.

Fall in Love (D'banj song)

"Fall in Love" is a song by Nigerian recording artist and harmonica player D'banj. It serves as a single from his third studio album The Entertainer. The song was produced by Don Jazzy. According to Africa Review, the song earned D'banj national stardom in Nigeria.

Music videos, relationship rumours, D'banj's take

There were two music videos released for the song. The first music video, released on January 26, 2010, features the Kokomaster and the Face of Africa 2010 finalists. The finalists selected for the video were told to play various video vixen characters that include "Rock Chick", "Russian Princess" and "Harajuku Girl" among others. Mo' Hits Records decided to shoot another music video after the first one received negative reviews from critics who thought the video didn't complement the song; moreover, numerous critics thought it was a bit naive to hire models to play the role of vixens.

Fall In!

Fall In! is one of the largest gaming conventions in North America devoted to historical miniature wargaming. It is sponsored by the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, a nonprofit guiding organization, which also sponsors the much larger Historicon convention.

Typically, Fall In! is a three-day convention held in early November each year in historic Adams County, Pennsylvania, at a location immediately south of the historic Gettysburg Battlefield. Thousands of miniature gamers and military history enthusiasts gather to play in hundreds of tabletop games, tournaments, and demonstrations. The convention is accompanied by a large flea market of used gaming items and accessories, a large dealer hall offering new merchandise, a series of seminars and training sessions, painting competitions, and similar events. Over 90% of the gaming events are history-related, with the remainder being sports games and fantasy or science fiction miniature games.

Each year, Fall In! has a different theme and focal point (such as the American Civil War or World War II), and many games and supporting events are geared around the theme. Awards are presented to the Best Theme Event, as well as best games in specific time slots and other honors for particularly popular or impressive games.

Poland (Polish: Polska [ˈpɔlska]), officially the Republic of Poland (Polish: Rzeczpospolita Polska, listen ), is a country in Central Europe,bordered by Germany to the west; the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south; Ukraine and Belarus to the east; and the Baltic Sea, Kaliningrad Oblast (a Russian exclave) and Lithuania to the north. The total area of Poland is 312,679 square kilometres (120,726 sq mi), making it the 71st largest country in the world and the 9th largest in Europe. With a population of over 38.5 million people, Poland is the 34th most populous country in the world, the 8th most populous country in Europe and the sixth most populous member of the European Union, as well as the most populous post-communist member of the European Union. Poland is a unitary state divided into 16 administrative subdivisions.

The establishment of a Polish state can be traced back to 966, when Mieszko I, ruler of a territory roughly coextensive with that of present-day Poland, converted to Christianity. The Kingdom of Poland was founded in 1025, and in 1569 it cemented a longstanding political association with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania by signing the Union of Lublin. This union formed the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, one of the largest and most populous countries of 16th and 17th-century Europe. The Commonwealth ceased to exist in the years 1772–1795, when its territory was partitioned among Prussia, the Russian Empire, and Austria. Poland regained its independence (as the Second Polish Republic) at the end of World War I, in 1918.

Poland (novel)

Poland is a historical novel written by James A. Michener and published in 1983 detailing the times and tribulations of three Polish families (the Lubonski family, the Bukowski family, and the Buk family) across eight centuries, ending in the then-present day (1981).

Overview

Michener was hired by a television company to travel to a foreign country to shoot a documentary. He was offered support to go anywhere in the world and Michener decided to make the trip to Poland. Following this, Michener made several trips back to Poland and conducted extensive study of Poland's history and culture. He began writing the book in 1979 and it was published four years later.

Like Michener's other works, he includes an acknowledgments section at the beginning of the book; however due to the political turmoil in Poland at the time, Michener decided not to include the names of the people he traveled with for fear of persecutions against them. He writes: "Normally, as I have done in my other novels, I would list their names, their impressive occupations, their achievements in research and scholarship, but I cannot ascertain whether in the present climate this would hurt or help them."

Poland (European Parliament constituency)

In European elections, the member state of Poland is subdivided into constituencies, in the same way as United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, France and Belgium. Unlike those countries, the number of seats in each subconstituency is not decided until after the election. Poland therefore is sometimes treated as a single constituency for purposes of reportage.

The 2004 European election was the sixth election to the European Parliament. However, as Poland had only joined the European Union earlier that month, it was the first election European election held in that state. The election took place on June 13.

The elections resulted in a heavy defeat for the governing Alliance of the Democratic Left and Labor Union parties, although the very low turnout makes a direct comparison with national election results difficult. As expected the most successful party was the Civic Platform. Second place was taken by the strongly anti-EU League of Polish Families.
