Walker (Star Wars)

Walkers are fictional vehicles from the Star Wars universe that traverse the landscape on mechanical legs. They are used by the Old Republic and the Galactic Empire for ground assault or transport. Throughout the saga, walkers have played a pivotal role in the fate of characters and the outcome of battles. Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) is responsible for their animation and design, often using models, stop-motion animation, and relevant matte paintings to depict their presence in the films.

There are a variety of walkers: The Empire Strikes Back introduces the All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) and All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST). In the Prequel Trilogy, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith introduced earlier models of walkers, such as the AT-TE. The Star Wars expanded universe features numerous others. Walker variants have been merchandised and featured in popular culture.

This is a list of cartoon characters from the Nickelodeon animated television series Danny Phantom. The series centers on young Danny Fenton and his coming-of-age story as a half-ghost superhero to the town of Amity Park. He gradually grows, bettering himself and his powers over the course of the story as he deals with ghosts, balancing his normal and heroic life, a community that does not initially trust him, and later, fame and praise from across the country.

His companions are his two best friends: Sam Manson, a goth girl who is entranced by the "weird and supernatural", and Tucker Foley, a lighthearted "techno-geek". Danny often has to put up with his eccentric ghost hunting parents, Jack and Maddie Fenton, and his smothering, doting, but compassionate older sister, Jazz Fenton. Walker Motor Car Company

The Walker Motor Car Company was active from 1905 to 1906 in Detroit, Michigan.

History

The company was located at 107 East Fort Street in Detroit, Michigan.

The 1906 Roadster or Runabout Model B, priced at US$600 (originally priced at US$550), was the only vehicle the company built. It had room for two passengers and was described as "artistic in appearance" in an advertisement in a national trade magazine. The company noted that "while this is our first season with this style of car, we have had years of experience in the construction of gasoline motors and can frankly say that no machine of this class has fewer parts.

The car was equipped with a double opposed under the hood 2-cylinder engine of 101 cubic inches that developed 10-horsepower. It was capable of a maximum speed of 25 mph (40 km/h). Final drive was a direct shaft drive with a transmission of two speeds forward and reverse. Other features included tiller steering, artillery wheels, brass lamps and 3-inch (76 mm)-wide "clincher" tires.

"Summer: Summer Dream / Song for You / Love in the Ice" is Tohoshinki's 12th Japanese single. It was released on August 1, 2007 and debuted at #1 on the Oricon Daily Charts, ending as #2 overall for the week. It was TVXQ's first single in Japan to reach this position on the daily charts and was considered a milestone for the Korean boyband's rising popularity in Japan. With the success of the single, TVXQ won the Gold Artist Award in Best Hits 2007 Japan on November 26.
