Renatus is a first name of Latin origin which means "born again" (natus = born). In countries of Italian, Portuguese and Spanish languages it exists in a masculine and feminine form i.e., Renato and Renata. In the French language they have been translated to René and Renée. The feminine form Renate is also common in Dutch and German language-speaking countries. Renata is a common female name in Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Lithuania and Slovakia. In Russia the names Renat (or "Rinat") and Renata are widespread among the Tatar population. In some Spanish speaking countries, the name has taken on a different meaning: as a contraction for Rey (king) and Nato (birth), it has come to mean "born a king."
The name has a spiritual, not literal meaning, i.e., to be born again with baptism, i.e., from water and the Holy Spirit. It was extensively adopted by early Christians in Ancient Rome, due to the importance of baptism. The onomastic is Saint Renatus, a martyr, Bishop of Sorrento in the 5th century, which is celebrated on October 6.
Across the world that never bends
I’ll sail until my life will end
On unyielding faith I will depend
Rushing forth over the sea
Awaiting our destiny
Engulfed in blood and misery
Don’t despair we will prevail
Our cause could never fail
Your lives are in my hands
Trust and you will make it safe to the other side
Your destiny you will define, hold strong until we all
Are waiting for the wind to take us back so we can see
again
The sun on the northern end
Guide our souls back home so we can live again
On the shores of the northern end
Longing for my home’s embrace
I challenge death to a final race
No quarter shown no saving grace
I guess your life is not your own
We all are slaves to serve the throne
On foreign soil we die alone
Rest your head my weary son
For all time your work is done
Now let your body go
You are now in the company of brothers
Where we are holding one another, to the light is where
we go
We’re waiting for the wind to take us back so we can
see again
The sun on the northern end
Guide our souls back home so we can live again
On the shores of the northern end
Our future and past we have to forsake
A predestined choice we’re gonna have to make
My life slipped through my hands
Beyond the end lies freedom for eternity
Find solace in infinity, we fight then we sail home
We’re waiting for the..
