Jimmie Chinn was an actor, teacher and most notably, a playwright.
Jimmie was born in Middleton, Lancashire on 30 March 1940, the only son of his beloved mother, Edie. His early years in Oldham and Manchester were to shape his writing in future years. He came to London in 1959 where he trained as an actor at the RADA and worked in many aspects of the theatre. His short and very undistinguished career as an actor led him eventually to train as a teacher at Whitelands College, Putney, where he gained an honours degree in English and Drama. He taught and became a senior teacher and housemaster at Dormers Wells School in Middlesex from 1979 until becoming a full-time writer in 1984. Jimmie became increasingly loved and admired not only in the professional theatre, but also in amateur theatre circles as a fine and talented actor, director, teacher, mentor and advisor.
Jimmie's plays began to blossom from 1984 under the watchful eye of his agent Richard Hatton (previously of Hatton and Baker) and the constant support and encouragement, particularly of John Bedding and Paul Taylor, at Samuel French Ltd, Fitzrovia, London. As well as a pleasurable and successful time in television, his plays for radio and stage have been enjoyed all over the world.
Jimmy Chin (born October 12, 1973) is a professional climber, mountaineer, skier, director and photographer. Born and raised in Mankato, Minnesota, he signed a sponsorship agreement with the The North Face in 2001 and is a 14-year veteran of The North Face Athlete Team. He has organized and led numerous climbing, ski-mountaineering and exploratory expeditions to China, Pakistan, Nepal, Tanzania, Chad, Mali, South Africa, Tibet, Borneo, India and Argentina. His achievements include climbing and skiing Mount Everest from the summit, making first ascents of big walls and alpine towers in the Karakoram Mountains of Pakistan and the Garwhal Himalayas of Northern India, crossing the Chang Tang Plateau in north-western Tibet on foot and attempting the direct North face of Mount Everest, alpine style. Jimmy has been featured, both in front of and behind the camera, in numerous publications, including National Geographic, Outside and Men’s Journal, and has been voted as one of the world’s most eligible bachelors by People magazine (although currently married). A 1996 alumnus of Carleton College, he received a BA in Asian Studies.

Jimmy may refer to:
The chin or the mental region is the area of the face below the lower lip and including the mandibular prominence. It tends to be smaller and more rounded in human females, while bigger and more square in human males. It is formed by the lower front of the mandible. In humans there is a wide variety of chin structures, e.g. cleft chin.
In human evolution, the chin is a cladistic apomorphy, partially defining anatomically modern humans as distinct from archaic forms. Non-human anthropoid apes have a simian shelf for example. Elephants are the only other animals considered to display such a feature, although this leads to debate over the use of the term.
The chin emerged during the Middle and Late Pleistocene, but its origin and biomechanical significance are the subjects of controversy. Prominent hypotheses include buttressing the jaw against stresses resulting from speech or chewing as well as simple sexual selection through mate choice. With the advent of more advanced computational facilities, finite element analyses have been used to support hypotheses involving mechanical stress. On the other hand, increased availability of data regarding sexual dimorphism in chins has also lent support to the sexual selection hypothesis as sexual dimorphism is more difficult to explain under other regimes. It is possible that multiple causal factors have played a role in the chin's evolution.

"I'm probably a climbing bum and a ski bum at heart,” Chin tells Mashable. “I love being in the mountains. I find a lot of peace, creativity and space." During his years at Carleton College in Minnesota, Chin immersed himself in the climbing culture. Instead of taking an internship in Washington, D.C. one summer, he opted to travel to Glacier National Park so he could work and climb. Decisions like these weren't popular with Chin's traditional parents, who preferred that he focus on becoming a doctor, lawyer or businessman. After graduating with a degree in Asian studies, Chin lived out of his car for an astounding seven years, self-funding three expeditions to Pakistan to climb Karakoram. During those trips, Chin documented the harsh conditions and breathtaking views with his camera. ...

Sympathy
Is not a virtue that you recognize
I look into your unforgiving eyes
And see my shame
It's clear to me
That after all the things that weve been through
We've done so much there's nothing left to do
And were both to blame
But as we turn to go our separate ways
I can't help but remember the years
When the world was in our hands
And we had no time for tears
But as we turn to lead our separate lives
My soul aches for what we've become
But the world it doesn't care
When we finish what we've done
Memories
Of a place that we both used to know
A place the two of us could always go
And be as one
Now I can see
That we believed emotions never there
We built them up and then we didn't care
Til they were gone
But as we turn to go our separate ways
I cant help but remember the years
When the world was in our hands
And we had no time for tears
But as we turn to lead our separate lives
My soul aches for what we've become
But the world it doesn't care
When we finish what we've done
I'll walk away and start again
A new beginning from the end
And all that I knew before
Will remain in the past
I'll find a brand new dream to live
I'll find the conviction to forgive
But things won't ever be quite the same
Cause you were the last
But as we turn to go our separate ways
I can't help but remember the years
When the world was in our hands
And we had no time for tears
But as we turn to lead our separate lives
My soul aches for what we've become
But the world it doesn't care
