I've been a fan of asian movies especial those from Korea when I watched My Sassy Girl. Here's my top ten list...if u haven't seen some them yet, u might want to watch it. Movies included in my list come from Korea, Japan, taiwan and Philippines. I'm so passionate about music that's why my numebr 1 Asian movie has has something to do with it...you'll find out later in the video. Hope you wll enjoy watching! Pls rate my movie. If you have any movie suggestions, I'll be gald to watch them as well.
I added a summary of each movie which I got from different sites. I edited some of them to give you a brief idea of the story is all about. Enjoy watching!

In 1994, Grade 5 student Lewis Bennett got into a schoolyard fight that resulted in a stern warning from his principal: “Change your ways or you’ll end up in an Asian gang.” Seventeen years later, Bennett revisits his past to determine if he took a wrong turn along the way.
The film was directed by Calum MacLeod & Lewis Bennett with cinematography by Benjamin Taft. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Asian Film Archive
Based in Singapore the Asian Film Archive is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2005 to preserve the film heritage of Asian Cinema, to encourage scholarly research on film, and to promote a wider critical appreciation of this art form. The archive has collected more than 1,500 titles, with a focus on classic Asian films and contemporary independent works from Southeast Asia. The Archive's outreach programmes encourage film literacy and find new audiences for films in its collection.
Notable films in the collection include the Cathay-Keris Malay Classics Collection: Hang Jebat by Hussain Haniff (1961), Mat Bond by Mat Sentul and M. Amin (1967) and Sumpah Pontianak by B.N. In 1994, Grade 5 student Lewis Bennett got into a schoolyard fight that resulted in a stern warning from his principal: “Change your ways or you’ll end up in an Asian gang.” Seventeen years later, Bennett revisits his past to determine if he took a wrong turn along the way.
The film was directed by Calum MacLeod & Lewis Bennett with cinematography by Benjamin Taft. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In this "crouching love, hidden breakup" story, inspired by 50's Shanghai water ink animation & kung fu films, themes of distance, tradition, art and longing dominate a telephonic conversation as a martial arts tango provides the visual backdrop.
Shannon Kook, star of Degrassi the Next Generation and The Conjuring, won the best voice performance at the ACTRA awards for his role on the film. Vid Cousins composed the music based on an original musical theme by Kid Koala.
The film won Best Art Direction Award at Anima Mundi, Best Canadian Shortwork at the Whistler Film Festival, AnimAsian award at the Toronto International Reel Asian Film Festival, Audience Choice Award at the Athens Animation Festival in upstate NY. It was nominated for prizes at Cristal Festival in Switzerland, Golden Reel award at LA Asian Pacific Film Festival. The film was Official Selection in Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film, Melbourne International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Shortfest and was presented as part of the Best of Quebec presentation in the Cannes Market in 2012.

Over 30 models, 10 make up artists, and 50+ photographers were present to take part in shooting at this 22 room mansion. Asian Gangs
In 1994, Grade 5 student Lewis Bennett got into a schoolyard fight that resulted in a stern warning from his principal: “Change your ways or you’ll end up in an Asian gang.” Seventeen years later, Bennett revisits his past to determine if he took a wrong turn along the way. The film was directed by Calum MacLeod & Lewis Bennett with cinematography by Benjamin Taft. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 1994, Grade 5 student Lewis Bennett got into a schoolyard fight that resulted in a stern warning from his principal: “Change your ways or you’ll end up in an Asian gang.” Seventeen years later, Bennett revisits his past to determine if he took a wrong turn along the way.
The film was directed by Calum MacLeod & Lewis Bennett with cinematography by Benjamin Taft. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In this "crouching love, hidden breakup" story, inspired by 50's Shanghai water ink animation & kung fu films, themes of distance, tradition, art and longing dominate a telephonic conversation as a martial arts tango provides the visual backdrop.
Shannon Kook, star of Degrassi the Next Generation and The Conjuring, won the best voice performance at the ACTRA awards for his role on the film. Vid Cousins composed the music based on an original musical theme by Kid Koala.
The film won Best Art Direction Award at Anima Mundi, Best Canadian Shortwork at the Whistler Film Festival, AnimAsian award at the Toronto International Reel Asian Film Festival, Audience Choice Award at the Athens Animation Festival in upstate NY. It was nominated for prizes at Cristal Festival in Switzerland, Golden Reel award at LA Asian Pacific Film Festival. The film was Official Selection in Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film, Melbourne International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Shortfest and was presented as part of the Best of Quebec presentation in the Cannes Market in 2012.

Over 30 models, 10 make up artists, and 50+ photographers were present to take part in shooting at this 22 room mansion. A mixture of continuous and flash lighting was used throughout the various rooms.
