The movie starts with Karthik (Ram) who runs a multimillion-dollar company in Portugal living with his mother (Pavitra Lokesh), father (Rao Ramesh), brother in law and sister. Karthik runs the company where he has employed his father (Rao Ramesh), brother in law, and sister, keeping them on their toes to leave no stone unturned to take his company to greater heights. He meets another multimillionaire, Anushka (Sonal Chauhan), for a business deal. She decides to propose Karthik for marriage as a calculated move for their business. She also has to tie the knot with the right guy if she is to inherit her father's wealth. They get engaged, however Karthik's family is disappointed by the proposal.
One of Karthik's companies gets into legal trouble due to a case registered by The Green Army, headed by Divya (Rakul Preet Singh), against his factory, so he heads to India to sort out the issue.
He tries hard to convince Divya to withdraw her case, but in vain. Despite being engaged to Anushka, Karthik goes to great extent of trying to impress Divya, including teasing and flirting. However, Karthik later reveals his actual purpose of coming to India, as he is the son of Bhupathi's (Sampath Raj) sister, who has been staying away from her family for the past twenty-five years. Divya's father and his three brothers abandoned their respective wives and sent them back to their house to live with their own brother (Sai Kumar), because he refused to marry Bhupathi's sister. However, this was a sacrifice by Sai Kumar because Bhupathi's sister herself confessed that she was in love with someone else, Karthik's father. As it turns out, Bhupathi's sister is none other than Karthik's mother.
After seeing the fight of Karthik in an attempt to save Divya from brawlers, Bhupati meets Karthik for a marriage proposal with Divya. Karthik then goes to her village to reunite the family against all odds and marry Divya.
Eventually, Karthik reunites the family who was separated for 25 years and marries Divya, bringing Pandaga (festival) for the family.
A young fighter named Kham must go to Australia to retrieve his stolen elephant. With the help of a Thai-born Australian detective, Kham must take on all comers, including a gang led by an evil woman and her two deadly bodyguards.

Naseous, gasping for air amidst the foul stench of rotting skin and flesh bound with fabric to the couch you'll never leave alive in your morbid obesity. A slow, self-inflicted death in plain sight of those closest to you (as close as they can get). Sure, maybe one day you'll try and rip yourself off that sofa at the cost of numerous layers of skin... You're a grotesque and hopeless animal. You know it.
This death/thrash metal album evokes that same common disgust the foul, couch-grafted, rotting obese inflict upon those who still have hope. Most wouldn't venture to these depths, this sound or these images found on this piece of music... but a select few are willing to sit down for these thirty-eight minutes of grotesque noise and come out a better person. Maybe this isn't this harsh German thrash band's best album but it is a thing of foul decaying beauty, their mixture of death metal into their behemoth thrash sound is hard to rival. This is an excellent genre-splicing progression that would last only one more album.
The crusting pile of grafted skin cursing those who scrape incessantly in their eczema and psoriasis induced mania might notice how balanced and versatile the production is on "A Shedding of Skin". While not as ballsy as it's follow-up this chunk of burning flesh wrenched into a bloody cross that spatters noisily as it burns publically... this album is heavy, full of great guitar riffs and maintains the sound and feel of past Protector releases.
Variance is an issue for most any guitar based album, as with many death/thrash albums. The focus is very much a monorail of stapled, pus-lined flesh decaying in a straight and poignant line of fire. Overall the content weighs heavy over the method and this album does not grow stale or boring to my ears. "A Shedding of Skin" is essential to any fan of death and thrash metal.

Japanom Yeerum (Thai: จาพนม ยีรัมย์), formerly Tatchakorn Yeerum (Thai: ทัชชกร ยีรัมย์; rtgs: Thatchakon Yiram) or Phanom Yeerum (Thai: พนม ยีรัมย์; rtgs: Phanom Yiram; [pʰanom jiːram]; born February 5, 1976), better known internationally as Tony Jaa, in Thailand as Jaa Phanom (Thai: จา พนม; rtgs: Cha Phanom), is a Thai martial artist, physical educator, actor, action choreographer, film producer, stuntman, director, and has spent time as a Buddhist monk. His films include Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior, Tom-Yum-Goong (also called Warrior King or The Protector), Ong-Bak 2: The Beginning, Ong Bak 3 and Tom Yum Goong 2 (or The Protector 2).
Early life
Tony Jaa was born in Surin province, Isan, Thailand, and was raised in a rural area in Surin. His hometown is 400 km from Bangkok. As he grew up he watched films by Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Vince Lam and Jet Li at temple fairs, which was his inspiration to learn martial arts. He was so inspired by them that while he was doing chores or playing with friends, he would imitate the martial arts moves that he had seen, practicing in his father's rice paddy.

Tom Yum Goong 2
Tom Yum Goong 2 (Thai: ต้มยำกุ้ง 2), known in English as The Protector 2, is a 2013 Thai martial arts film directed by Prachya Pinkaew. The film is a sequel to Pinkaew's Tom-Yum-Goong, with actors Tony Jaa and Petchtai Wongkamlao reprising their roles as Kham and Mark from the first movie.
Plot
After the events of Tom-Yum-Goong, Kham (Tony Jaa) has resumed a quiet village life with his "brother"/elephant, Khon, back in Thailand. Within the village, lives a local oddball that loves playing with electrical devices, named Job. He has lived there along with Kham and the villagers for some time and has earned the trust of the locals. Unknown to him, he's an agent of an arms dealer known as Mr. LC (RZA). A fan of Kham's exploits five years ago, LC had Job keep tabs on Kham without his knowledge. Things would change for Kham when a merchant, Suchart Vilawandei (Adinan Buntanaporn), wanted to buy Khon, but Kham refused to sell Khon. Suchart gave his business card to Kham in case he changed his mind about selling Khon, however, things would go terribly wrong after Kham was invited by the villagers to eat with him.

He meets another multimillionaire, Anushka (Sonal Chauhan), for a business deal. She decides to propose Karthik for marriage as a calculated move for their business. She also has to tie the knot with the right guy if she is to inherit her father's wealth. They get engaged, however Karthik's family is disappointed by the proposal.
One of Karthik's companies gets into legal trouble due to a case registered by The Green Army, headed by Divya (Rakul Preet Singh), against his factory, so he heads to India to sort out the issue.
He tries hard to convince Divya to withdraw her case, but in vain. Despite being engaged to Anushka, Karthik goes to great extent of trying to impress Divya, including teasing and flirting. However, Karthik later reveals his actual purpose of coming to India, as he is the son of Bhupathi's (Sampath Raj) sister, who has been staying away from her family for the past twenty-five years. Divya's father and his three brothers abandoned their respective wives and sent them back to their house to live with their own brother (Sai Kumar), because he refused to marry Bhupathi's sister. However, this was a sacrifice by Sai Kumar because Bhupathi's sister herself confessed that she was in love with someone else, Karthik's father. As it turns out, Bhupathi's sister is none other than Karthik's mother.
After seeing the fight of Karthik in an attempt to save Divya from brawlers, Bhupati meets Karthik for a marriage proposal with Divya. Karthik then goes to her village to reunite the family against all odds and marry Divya.
Eventually, Karthik reunites the family who was separated for 25 years and marries Divya, bringing Pandaga (festival) for the family.

Naseous, gasping for air amidst the foul stench of rotting skin and flesh bound with fabric to the couch you'll never leave alive in your morbid obesity. A slow, self-inflicted death in plain sight of those closest to you (as close as they can get). Sure, maybe one day you'll try and rip yourself off that sofa at the cost of numerous layers of skin... You're a grotesque and hopeless animal. You know it.
This death/thrash metal album evokes that same common disgust the foul, couch-grafted, rotting obese inflict upon those who still have hope. Most wouldn't venture to these depths, this sound or these images found on this piece of music... but a select few are willing to sit down for these thirty-eight minutes of grotesque noise and come out a better person. Maybe this isn't this harsh German thrash band's best album but it is a thing of foul decaying beauty, their mixture of death metal into their behemoth thrash sound is hard to rival. This is an excellent genre-splicing progression that would last only one more album.
The crusting pile of grafted skin cursing those who scrape incessantly in their eczema and psoriasis induced mania might notice how balanced and versatile the production is on "A Shedding of Skin". While not as ballsy as it's follow-up this chunk of burning flesh wrenched into a bloody cross that spatters noisily as it burns publically... this album is heavy, full of great guitar riffs and maintains the sound and feel of past Protector releases.
Variance is an issue for most any guitar based album, as with many death/thrash albums. The focus is very much a monorail of stapled, pus-lined flesh decaying in a straight and poignant line of fire. Overall the content weighs heavy over the method and this album does not grow stale or boring to my ears. "A Shedding of Skin" is essential to any fan of death and thrash metal.

He meets another multimillionaire, Anushka (Sonal Chauhan), for a business deal. She decides to propose Karthik for marriage as a calculated move for their business. She also has to tie the knot with the right guy if she is to inherit her father's wealth. They get engaged, however Karthik's family is disappointed by the proposal.
One of Karthik's companies gets into legal trouble due to a case registered by The Green Army, headed by Divya (Rakul Preet Singh), against his factory, so he heads to India to sort out the issue.
He tries hard to convince Divya to withdraw her case, but in vain. Despite being engaged to Anushka, Karthik goes to great extent of trying to impress Divya, including teasing and flirting. However, Karthik later reveals his actual purpose of coming to India, as he is the son of Bhupathi's (Sampath Raj) sister, who has been staying away from her family for the past twenty-five years. Divya's father and his three brothers abandoned their respective wives and sent them back to their house to live with their own brother (Sai Kumar), because he refused to marry Bhupathi's sister. However, this was a sacrifice by Sai Kumar because Bhupathi's sister herself confessed that she was in love with someone else, Karthik's father. As it turns out, Bhupathi's sister is none other than Karthik's mother.
After seeing the fight of Karthik in an attempt to save Divya from brawlers, Bhupati meets Karthik for a marriage proposal with Divya. Karthik then goes to her village to reunite the family against all odds and marry Divya.
Eventually, Karthik reunites the family who was separated for 25 years and marries Divya, bringing Pandaga (festival) for the family.

Naseous, gasping for air amidst the foul stench of rotting skin and flesh bound with fabric to the couch you'll never leave alive in your morbid obesity. A slow, self-inflicted death in plain sight of those closest to you (as close as they can get). Sure, maybe one day you'll try and rip yourself off that sofa at the cost of numerous layers of skin... You're a grotesque and hopeless animal. You know it.
This death/thrash metal album evokes that same common disgust the foul, couch-grafted, rotting obese inflict upon those who still have hope. Most wouldn't venture to these depths, this sound or these images found on this piece of music... but a select few are willing to sit down for these thirty-eight minutes of grotesque noise and come out a better person. Maybe this isn't this harsh German thrash band's best album but it is a thing of foul decaying beauty, their mixture of death metal into their behemoth thrash sound is hard to rival. This is an excellent genre-splicing progression that would last only one more album.
The crusting pile of grafted skin cursing those who scrape incessantly in their eczema and psoriasis induced mania might notice how balanced and versatile the production is on "A Shedding of Skin". While not as ballsy as it's follow-up this chunk of burning flesh wrenched into a bloody cross that spatters noisily as it burns publically... this album is heavy, full of great guitar riffs and maintains the sound and feel of past Protector releases.
Variance is an issue for most any guitar based album, as with many death/thrash albums. The focus is very much a monorail of stapled, pus-lined flesh decaying in a straight and poignant line of fire. Overall the content weighs heavy over the method and this album does not grow stale or boring to my ears. "A Shedding of Skin" is essential to any fan of death and thrash metal.

One of Karthik's companies gets into legal trouble due to a case registered by The Green Army, headed by Divya (Rakul Preet Singh), against his factory, so he heads to India to sort out the issue.
He tries hard to convince Divya to withdraw her case, but in vain. Despite being engaged to Anushka, Karthik goes to great extent of trying to impress Divya, including teasing and flirting. However, Karthik later reveals his actual purpose of coming to India, as he is the son of Bhupathi's (Sampath Raj) sister, who has been staying away from her family for the past twenty-five years. Divya's father and his three brothers abandoned their respective wives and sent them back to their house to live with their own brother (Sai Kumar), because he refused to marry Bhupathi's sister. However, this was a sacrifice by Sai Kumar because Bhupathi's sister herself confessed that she was in love with someone else, Karthik's father. As it turns out, Bhupathi's sister is none other than Karthik's mother.
After seeing the fight of Karthik in an attempt to save Divya from brawlers, Bhupati meets Karthik for a marriage proposal with Divya. Karthik then goes to her village to reunite the family against all odds and marry Divya.
Eventually, Karthik reunites the family who was separated for 25 years and marries Divya, bringing Pandaga (festival) for the family.

Naseous, gasping for air amidst the foul stench of rotting skin and flesh bound with fabric to the couch you'll never leave alive in your morbid obesity. A slow, self-inflicted death in plain sight of those closest to you (as close as they can get). Sure, maybe one day you'll try and rip yourself off that sofa at the cost of numerous layers of skin... You're a grotesque and hopeless animal. You know it.
This death/thrash metal album evokes that same common disgust the foul, couch-grafted, rotting obese inflict upon those who still have hope. Most wouldn't venture to these depths, this sound or these images found on this piece of music... but a select few are willing to sit down for these thirty-eight minutes of grotesque noise and come out a better person. Maybe this isn't this harsh German thrash band's best album but it is a thing of foul decaying beauty, their mixture of death metal into their behemoth thrash sound is hard to rival. This is an excellent genre-splicing progression that would last only one more album.
The crusting pile of grafted skin cursing those who scrape incessantly in their eczema and psoriasis induced mania might notice how balanced and versatile the production is on "A Shedding of Skin". While not as ballsy as it's follow-up this chunk of burning flesh wrenched into a bloody cross that spatters noisily as it burns publically... this album is heavy, full of great guitar riffs and maintains the sound and feel of past Protector releases.
Variance is an issue for most any guitar based album, as with many death/thrash albums. The focus is very much a monorail of stapled, pus-lined flesh decaying in a straight and poignant line of fire. Overall the content weighs heavy over the method and this album does not grow stale or boring to my ears. "A Shedding of Skin" is essential to any fan of death and thrash metal.
