Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou (Greek: Στέλιος Χατζηιωάννου), born 14 February 1967 in Athens, Greece, is a Greek born British entrepreneur best known for starting the low-cost airline 'easyJet'. He is of Greek Cypriot origins and is resident in London, Monaco and Athens. easyGroup IP Licensing Ltd ( easy.com ) is the private investment vehicle owned by Stelios, the easyGroup is the owner of the easy brand and licenses it to all of the easy branded businesses, including:- easyJet, easyCar, easyCruise, easyMoney, easyPizza, easyMobile, easyInternetCafe, easyValue, easyOffice, easyHotel, easyBus, easyVan, easyCinema, easyWatch, easy4men, easyJobs and easyMusic. The easyGroup profits by either selling shares in the businesses or by licensing or franchising the brand to reputable partners... Although, when one of those "reputable partners" delivers a pizza to an East Sussex hotel two days before you have even arrived, So you have the hotel phoning you to question why you have ordered a pizza when you're not even there yet - And then, they don't turn up for when you actually ordered it for, and you have to try and find contact details they clearly don't want you to have... You begin to question the easyGroup's understanding of the word "reputable" - Anyway, I'm sure that was just a one off... I like Stelios! :-)
