Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles west of Denver, where concerts are given in the open-air amphitheatre. There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525 people in between. The amphitheatre is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver, Colorado and is located in Red Rocks Park, part of the Denver Mountain Parks system.
In the early 1900s (decade), John Brisben Walker had a vision of artists performing on a stage nestled in the perfect acoustic surroundings of Red Rocks, which likely were used by the Ute tribe in earlier times. Walker produced a number of concerts between 1906 and 1910 on a temporary platform; and from his dream, the history of Red Rocks as an entertainment venue began.
Geologically, the rocks surrounding the Amphitheatre are representative of the Fountain Formation. Originally the place was known as the "Garden of the Angels" (1870s-1906), and then as "Garden of the Titans" during the Walker years (1906–1928). The park, however, had always been known by the folk name of "Red Rocks", which became its formal name when Denver acquired it in 1928. The amphitheatre's rocks are named "Creation Rock" on the north, "Ship Rock" on the south, and "Stage Rock" to the east. Red Rocks Amphitheatre was designed by Denver architect Burnham Hoyt.
In geology, rock or stone is a naturally occurring solid aggregate of one or more minerals or mineraloids. For example, the common rock granite is a combination of the quartz, feldspar and biotite minerals. The Earth's outer solid layer, the lithosphere, is made of rock.
Rocks have been used by mankind throughout history. From the Stone Age, rocks have been used for tools. The minerals and metals found in rocks have been essential to human civilization.
Three major groups of rocks are defined: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. The scientific study of rocks is called petrology, which is an essential component of geology.
At a granular level, rocks are composed of grains of minerals, which, in turn, are homogeneous solids formed from a chemical compound that is arranged in an orderly manner. The aggregate minerals forming the rock are held together by chemical bonds. The types and abundance of minerals in a rock are determined by the manner in which the rock was formed. Many rocks contain silica (SiO2); a compound of silicon and oxygen that forms 74.3% of the Earth's crust. This material forms crystals with other compounds in the rock. The proportion of silica in rocks and minerals is a major factor in determining their name and properties.

Travel video about nature park Bryce Canyon in the USA. In the south of the US federal state of UTAH, there’s a destination that attracts nature lovers from all over the world: Bryce Canyon National Park, 145 square kilometres of pure nature. Millions of years ago, due to extreme subterranean pressure, the Earth’s surface cracked and a landscape was created that is without equal, a gigantic amphitheatre of red stone scattered with a thousand rock needles that tower toward the sky. Typical of Bryce, the canyon’s fantastic and bizarre „hoodoos“ were created by natural erosion and rise ever upward like towering cathedrals and great skyscrapers, conveying a sense of eternity. The highest point of the park reaches a height of over 2000 metres and contains pines and juniper trees whereas, lower ...
Colorado Travel Destination & Attractions | Visit Garden Gods red rock Park Show The Garden of the Gods red rock formations were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. Archaeological evidence shows that prehistoric people visited Garden of the Gods about 1330 BC. At about 250 BC Native American people camped in the park. They are believed to have been attracted to wildlife and plant life in the area and used overhangs created by the rocks for shelter. There are many native peoples who have reported a connection to Garden of the Gods, including Ute, Comanche, Apache, Kiowa, Shoshone, Cheyenne, Pawnee and Lakota people.[2] The Utes oral traditions tell of their creation at the Garden of the Gods. Petroglyphs have been found in the park that a...

[Verse 1:]
I found my mom's cocaine, when I was eleven
Was too young to know, heroin is better
Now I cook up meth, everyday for breakfast
And I like it, I like it a lot
And my teeth are gone
And my dick won't cum
And I still can not
Get it uuuupppp
[Hook:]
Cause when I, get high
I, mix baking soda with some coke
Then I, boil up some water
Then I add some ice, mix it all together
Then it's rocks, red rocks, red rocks
[Verse 2:]
And now the blunt, is laced
Cocaine mixed with chronic
If you try to play, two hits for a dollar
I don't do, cocaine
I just like the way, that it smells
That it smells, that it smells
And my teeth are gone
And my dick is soft
And I still can not
Get it uuuuupppp
[Hook:]
Cause when I, get high
I, mix baking soda with some coke
Then I, boil up some water
Then I add some ice, mix it all together
Then it's rocks, red rocks, red rocks
[Verse 3:]
Yeah! Train well, plan it right
Hand jobs for crack rocks
That's the way I live my life
Posted outside on the block
(Rocks!) Red, white, and black
(Rocks!) For five a sack
(Rocks!) My life is wack
I call Jay Bock at five o' clock
He got the rocks tucked in his sock
He say's let's go for a walk
That's how I know this ain't a joke
Get my cash and make a swap
We got the park on lock
Chaldos walk up and they're like "bakalakalak! "
[Hook:]
Because when I, get high
I mix baking soda with some coke
Then I, boil up some water
Then I add some ice, mix it all together
Then it's rocks, red rocks, red rocks
Red rocks, red rocks, red rocks
Red rocks, red rocks, red roooooocks
[Verse 4:]
Back in Pontiac, I was crack-runnin
I got jacked and it, wasn't that funny
I got clapped and it, wasn't that fun
I got my glock and shot right back at 'em
My aim ain't perfect, I missed 'em
And then bought my crack right back from 'em
I wish I could sleeeeep
Or eeeaaat soooome fooooood
And I wish I could taaake
A craaap ooorrr twwwoooo
But it's crack that gets me this hiiiigh
