Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, author, and philanthropist, best known for her work in country music.
Beginning her career as a child performer, Parton issued a few modestly successful singles from 1959 through the mid-1960s, showcasing her distinctive soprano voice. She rose to greater prominence in 1967 as a featured performer on singer Porter Wagoner's weekly television program; their first duet single, a cover of Tom Paxton's "The Last Thing on My Mind", was a top-ten hit on the country singles chart and led to several successful albums before they ended their partnership in 1974. Non-musical ventures include Dollywood, a theme park in Pigeon Forge in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, and her efforts on behalf of childhood literacy, particularly her Imagination Library, as well as Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede and Pirates Voyage.

Touch Your Woman is the ninth solo studio album by Dolly Parton, released in 1972. The title song was a top ten country single for Parton in early 1972. The album was produced by Bob Ferguson and, as was generally the case with Parton's early albums for RCA Records, contained mostly Parton's own compositions, along with a couple of covers.
The album was released for digital download on 4 December 2015.

Touch Your Woman (song)
"Touch Your Woman" is a song written and originally recorded by American entertainer Dolly Parton. It was released in December 1971 as the first single and title track of Parton's album Touch Your Woman. It provided a 1972 top-ten country single for her. The lyrics speak of a disagreement between lovers, but concludes with the line "all you have to do to make it right is just touch your woman". A tranquil, slow-tempo ballad, the song differed from many of Parton's other hits at the time, in that it was neither an upbeat, lilting country number, nor a nostalgic reminiscence of her rural childhood. "Touch Your Woman" reached number 6 on the U.S. country singles charts in March 1972, though a number of country radio stations refused to play it because they found it too sexually suggestive.
It has since been included in a number of Parton's compilation albums, including Best of Dolly Parton, The RCA Years, and The Essential Dolly Parton.
The song was covered in late 1972 by R&B artist Margie Joseph, and in 2002 by folk singer Kate Campbell.

"Your Woman" is a song by British one-man band White Town. It was released on 13 January 1997 as the lead single from the album, Women in Technology. It features a muted trumpet line taken from "My Woman" by Al Bowlly and it peaked at number one in the UK Singles Chart. Outside the United Kingdom, the single topped the charts in Spain, peaked within the top ten of the charts Australia, Canada, Denmark and Finland and peaked within the top thirty of the charts in the United States.
The song was named the 158th best track of the 1990s by Pitchfork Media.
Background and writing
White Town's sole band member and writer of "Your Woman", Jyoti Prakash Mishra, has stated that the lyrics could stem from or be related to multiple situations. He says "When I wrote it, I was trying to write a pop song that had more than one perspective. Although it’s written in the first person the character behind that viewpoint isn’t necessarily what the casual listener would expect".
Mishra writes that the themes of the song include: "Being a member of an orthodox Trotskyist / Marxist movement. Being a straight guy in love with a lesbian. Being a gay guy in love with a straight man. Being a straight girl in love with a lying, two-timing, fake-arse Marxist. The hypocrisy that results when love and lust get mixed up with highbrow ideals."

Your Lady (Hangul: 당신의 여자; RR: Dangshinui Yeoja; also known as Your Woman) is a 2013 South Korean television series starring Lee Yoo-ri, Park Yoon-jae, Im Ho, Park Young-rin and Lee Byung-wook. Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, author, and philanthropist, best known for her work in country music.
Beginning her career as a child performer, Parton issued a few modestly successful singles from 1959 through the mid-1960s, showcasing her distinctive soprano voice. She rose to greater prominence in 1967 as a featured performer on singer Porter Wagoner's weekly television program; their first duet single, a cover of Tom Paxton's "The Last Thing on My Mind", was a top-ten hit on the country singles chart and led to several successful albums before they ended their partnership in 1974. A string of pop-country hits followed into the mid-1980s, the most successful being her 1981 hit "9 to 5" (from the film of the same name) and her 1983 duet with Kenny Rogers "Islands in the Stream", both of which topped the U.S. pop and country singles charts. A pair of albums recorded with Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris were among her later successes. In the late 1990s, she returned to classic country/bluegrass with a series of acclaimed recordings. Non-musical ventures include Dollywood, a theme park in Pigeon Forge in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, and her efforts on behalf of childhood literacy, particularly her Imagination Library, as well as Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede and Pirates Voyage.
