I was on the phone talking to my buddy Dan, who was fishing on the beach and during our conversation, he hooked up to a monster shark! I drove down to the beach to help Dan and his crew catch and release the monster shark. It turned out to be a 13ft great hammerhead shark. The following day around the same time, Dan gives me a call to let me know that Mark is hooked up to another giant shark!

A faultless first half has powered the Sharks to a resounding 44-12 win over top-four rivals the Roosters at a sold out Central Coast Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Cronulla's sixth-straight win over the Tricolours came on the back of an uncharacteristically brilliant opening stanza that saw them open up a 20-12 lead thanks to a 19/19 completion rate and 66 per cent of possession.
Their second half was equally as impressive with Shane Flanagan's men racing in four unanswered tries in what was a perfect response following last week's disappointing effort against the Sea Eagles.
Five-eighth James Maloney bounced back from last week's underwhelming display with a man-of-the-match performance against his former side that included a masterclass in goal-kicking.
The Roosters started the round in second spot on the Telstra Premiership ladder but looked like a shadow of the side that defeated the Storm last week in what was their worst effort of the season.
The Sharks opened the scoring via a James Maloney penalty goal – a somewhat conservative decision at the time – but it took them just two more minutes to do some real damage on the scoreboard when Jack Bird sliced through on the right edge to give his side an 8-0 lead after 16 minutes.
Having been starved of all the ball in the opening exchanges, the Roosters quickly clicked into gear and managed to hit straight back when Luke Keary burst into the backfield, grubbered ahead and found Daniel Tupou with a pinpoint kick to bridge the gap.
Tupou's try proved to be a minor blip on Cronulla's radar as they controlled all the ball for the next five minutes with the weight of possession eventually resulting in a try to Valentine Holmes who finished off a nifty play around the ruck.
Just when it looked like the defending premiers had gained the upper hand, the Roosters took advantage of their first penalty of the afternoon to hit back when Ryan Matterson strolled through a yawning gap to cut the gap to two points.
The see-sawing affair took another turn as a slip in the defensive line created a three-on-one overlap for the Sharks who crossed for their third try of the half through left winger Sosaia Feki just before the break.
The second stanza started much like the first half finished with the Sharks finding joy down the left flank as Ricky Leutele got on the outside of his man to push the lead out to 14 points.
Cronulla's dominance was confirmed in the 57th minute when right winger Gerard Beale became the final member of the back five to score to complete his side's backline bingo.
With the shackles loosened, Sharks fans went into full party mode when Luke Lewis plucked an intercept near his own line, and for the second time in as many matches, raced 90 metres to confirm he is as good as any fine wine before Leutele put the icing on the cake with the final play of the game.

This is not our usual kids content and Gabe and Garrett did not go on this trip, this video is from my trip to Guadalupe Island (I'm their dad).
On a recent great white shark cage diving trip we experienced a very rare event, a shark breaching the side of the cage. What might appear to be an aggressive great white shark trying to attack the cage, this is not the case. These awesome sharks are biting at large chunks of tuna tied to a rope. When a great white shark lunges and bites something, it is temporarily blinded. They also cannot swim backwards. So this shark lunged at the bait, accidentally hit the side of the cage, was most likely confused and not able to swim backwards, it thrust forward and broke the metal rail of the cage. There was a single diver inside the cage. He ended up outside the bottom of the cage, looking down on two great white sharks. The diver is a very experienced dive instructor, remained calm, and when the shark thrashed back outside the cage, the diver calmly swam back up and climbed out completely uninjured. The boat crew did an outstanding job, lifting the top of the cage, analyzing the frenzied situation, and the shark was out after a few long seconds. Everyone on the boat returned to the cages the next day, realizing this was a very rare event. The boat owner, captain, and crew are to be commended for making what could've been a tragic event into a happy ending. I'm sure God and luck had a bit to do with it too!
I want to return next year for another great white shark adventure!

1. Crew knows there's a diver in the cage, it's passengers asking if anyone is in there.
2. Shark had very minor injury and is confirmed okay.
3. These tour operators work with the gov't, non-profit agencies, sanctuaries, marine biologists for the good of the sharks.
4. Cage design and bait techniques are being reviewed and changes made if necessary to ensure safety for sharks and divers.
5. 'Leave the sharks alone' got them on the endangered species list because poachers won't leave them alone.
6. No video footage from diver.
7. If you want your post read, don't cuss because it will be auto-filtered.

Shark
Sharks are a group of fish characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, five to seven gill slits on the sides of the head, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head. Modern sharks are classified within the clade Selachimorpha (or Selachii) and are the sister group to the rays. However, the term "shark" has also been used for extinct members of the subclass Elasmobranchii outside the Selachimorpha, such as Cladoselache and Xenacanthus, as well as other Chondrichthyes such as the holocephalid eugenedontidans. Under this broader definition, the earliest known sharks date back to more than 420 million years ago.Acanthodians are often referred to as "spiny sharks"; though they are not part of Chondrichthyes proper, they are a paraphyletic assemblage leading to cartilaginous fish as a whole.
Since then, sharks have diversified into over 500 species. They range in size from the small dwarf lanternshark (Etmopterus perryi), a deep sea species of only 17 centimetres (6.7 in) in length, to the whale shark (Rhincodon typus), the largest fish in the world, which reaches approximately 12 metres (40 ft) in length. Sharks are found in all seas and are common to depths of 2,000 metres (6,600 ft). They generally do not live in freshwater although there are a few known exceptions, such as the bull shark and the river shark, which can survive and be found in both seawater and freshwater. Sharks have a covering of dermal denticles that protects their skin from damage and parasites in addition to improving their fluid dynamics. They have several sets of replaceable teeth.

Monster truck
A monster truck is a vehicle that is typically styled after pickup truck bodies, modified or purposely built with extremely large wheels and suspension. They are used for competition and popular sports entertainment and in some cases they are featured alongside motocross races, mud bogging, tractor pulls and car-eating robots.
A monster truck show sometimes involves the truck crushing smaller vehicles beneath its huge tires. These trucks can run up and over most man-made barriers, so they are equipped with remote shut-off switches, called the Remote Ignition Interruptor (RII), to help prevent an accident if the driver loses control at any time. At some events, only one truck is on the course at a time, while most feature two drivers racing each other on symmetrical tracks, with the losing driver eliminated in single-elimination tournament fashion.
In recent years, many monster truck competitions have ended with a "freestyle" event. Somewhat akin to dressage with giant trucks, drivers are free to select their own course around the track and its obstacles. Drivers will often try "donuts", wheelstands and jumps during this segment. Additional items for the drivers to crush, usually including a motor home, are frequently placed on the track specifically for the freestyle event. Other obstacles sometimes placed on the track include school buses and small airplanes.

The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in December 1988, matching the chart success of the group's "If You Leave Me Now" (1976) and "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" (1982). "Look Away" is Chicago's seventh song to have peaked at number one on the Adult Contemporary chart as well as the number one song on the 1989 year-end Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The song, unlike hits from early in Chicago's career, does not prominently feature horns. It is also the band's first number-one single following the departure of Peter Cetera, who left the group in 1985. The song was originally offered to the Swedish hard rock band Europe by Ron Nevison who was producing their album Out of This World at the time and thought that the album needed another ballad. The singer of the band, Joey Tempest didn't like the song and turned down the offer.

Arutz HaYeladim (Hebrew: ערוץ הילדים, The Kids' Channel) is an Israeli youngster cable television channel owned by NOGA Communications Limited. It was one of the first cable channels in Israel with Arutz HaMishpaha, Arutz HaSratim and Arutz HaSport.
History
The channel first launched in 1989, as a part of Israeli cable's trial broadcasting prior to the 1990 official launch. At first the channel broadcast only two hours a day, and in its first two years was based primarily on purchased programs. In 1991, the channel began involving segments with human hosts and presenters. These segments grew to bigger live shows over the years and gave some of the presenters their tickets to stardom. The channel's growing popularity among children also led to many educational campaigns, regarding issues such as safety and tolerance.
In 1996, the channel's content was transferred to the control of the new company "Noga Tikshoret" ("Venus communication"), and the channel updated its programming to more interactive nature while also adding more original programs - a direction that the channel is following to this day.

Cronulla's sixth-straight win over the Tricolours came on the back of an uncharacteristically brilliant opening stanza that saw them open up a 20-12 lead thanks to a 19/19 completion rate and 66 per cent of possession. Their second half was equally as impressive with Shane Flanagan's men racing in four unanswered tries in what was a perfect response following last week's disappointing effort against the Sea Eagles. Five-eighth James Maloney bounced back from last week's underwhelming display with a man-of-the-match performance against his former side that included a masterclass in goal-kicking. The Roosters started the round in second spot on the Telstra Premiership ladder but looked like a shadow of the side that defeated the Storm last week in what was their worst effort of the season. The Sharks opened the scoring via a James Maloney penalty goal – a somewhat conservative decision at the time – but it took them just two more minutes to do some real damage on the scoreboard when Jack Bird sliced through on the right edge to give his side an 8-0 lead after 16 minutes. Having been starved of all the ball in the opening exchanges, the Roosters quickly clicked into gear and managed to hit straight back when Luke Keary burst into the backfield, grubbered ahead and found Daniel Tupou with a pinpoint kick to bridge the gap. Tupou's try proved to be a minor blip on Cronulla's radar as they controlled all the ball for the next five minutes with the weight of possession eventually resulting in a try to Valentine Holmes who finished off a nifty play around the ruck. Just when it looked like the defending premiers had gained the upper hand, the Roosters took advantage of their first penalty of the afternoon to hit back when Ryan Matterson strolled through a yawning gap to cut the gap to two points. The see-sawing affair took another turn as a slip in the defensive line created a three-on-one overlap for the Sharks who crossed for their third try of the half through left winger Sosaia Feki just before the break. The second stanza started much like the first half finished with the Sharks finding joy down the left flank as Ricky Leutele got on the outside of his man to push the lead out to 14 points. Cronulla's dominance was confirmed in the 57th minute when right winger Gerard Beale became the final member of the back five to score to complete his side's backline bingo. With the shackles loosened, Sharks fans went into full party mode when Luke Lewis plucked an intercept near his own line, and for the second time in as many matches, raced 90 metres to confirm he is as good as any fine wine before Leutele put the icing on the cake with the final play of the game. On a recent great white shark cage diving trip we experienced a very rare event, a shark breaching the side of the cage. What might appear to be an aggressive great white shark trying to attack the cage, this is not the case. These awesome sharks are biting at large chunks of tuna tied to a rope. When a great white shark lunges and bites something, it is temporarily blinded. They also cannot swim backwards. So this shark lunged at the bait, accidentally hit the side of the cage, was most likely confused and not able to swim backwards, it thrust forward and broke the metal rail of the cage. There was a single diver inside the cage. He ended up outside the bottom of the cage, looking down on two great white sharks. The diver is a very experienced dive instructor, remained calm, and when the shark thrashed back outside the cage, the diver calmly swam back up and climbed out completely uninjured. The boat crew did an outstanding job, lifting the top of the cage, analyzing the frenzied situation, and the shark was out after a few long seconds. Everyone on the boat returned to the cages the next day, realizing this was a very rare event. The boat owner, captain, and crew are to be commended for making what could've been a tragic event into a happy ending. I'm sure God and luck had a bit to do with it too! I want to return next year for another great white shark adventure! FYI, being a kids channel, bad language in the comments gets caught in the filter. Update based on comments: 1. Crew knows there's a diver in the cage, it's passengers asking if anyone is in there. 2. Shark had very minor injury and is confirmed okay. 3. These tour operators work with the gov't, non-profit agencies, sanctuaries, marine biologists for the good of the sharks. 4. Cage design and bait techniques are being reviewed and changes made if necessary to ensure safety for sharks and divers. 5. 'Leave the sharks alone' got them on the endangered species list because poachers won't leave them alone. 6. No video footage from diver. 7. A faultless first half has powered the Sharks to a resounding 44-12 win over top-four rivals the Roosters at a sold out Central Coast Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Cronulla's sixth-straight win over the Tricolours came on the back of an uncharacteristically brilliant opening stanza that saw them open up a 20-12 lead thanks to a 19/19 completion rate and 66 per cent of possession.
Their second half was equally as impressive with Shane Flanagan's men racing in four unanswered tries in what was a perfect response following last week's disappointing effort against the Sea Eagles.
Five-eighth James Maloney bounced back from last week's underwhelming display with a man-of-the-match performance against his former side that included a masterclass in goal-kicking.
The Roosters started the round in second spot on the Telstra Premiership ladder but looked like a shadow of the side that defeated the Storm last week in what was their worst effort of the season.
The Sharks opened the scoring via a James Maloney penalty goal – a somewhat conservative decision at the time – but it took them just two more minutes to do some real damage on the scoreboard when Jack Bird sliced through on the right edge to give his side an 8-0 lead after 16 minutes.
Having been starved of all the ball in the opening exchanges, the Roosters quickly clicked into gear and managed to hit straight back when Luke Keary burst into the backfield, grubbered ahead and found Daniel Tupou with a pinpoint kick to bridge the gap.
Tupou's try proved to be a minor blip on Cronulla's radar as they controlled all the ball for the next five minutes with the weight of possession eventually resulting in a try to Valentine Holmes who finished off a nifty play around the ruck.
Just when it looked like the defending premiers had gained the upper hand, the Roosters took advantage of their first penalty of the afternoon to hit back when Ryan Matterson strolled through a yawning gap to cut the gap to two points.
The see-sawing affair took another turn as a slip in the defensive line created a three-on-one overlap for the Sharks who crossed for their third try of the half through left winger Sosaia Feki just before the break.
The second stanza started much like the first half finished with the Sharks finding joy down the left flank as Ricky Leutele got on the outside of his man to push the lead out to 14 points.
Cronulla's dominance was confirmed in the 57th minute when right winger Gerard Beale became the final member of the back five to score to complete his side's backline bingo.
With the shackles loosened, Sharks fans went into full party mode when Luke Lewis plucked an intercept near his own line, and for the second time in as many matches, raced 90 metres to confirm he is as good as any fine wine before Leutele put the icing on the cake with the final play of the game.

Erich was immediately flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in Palm Beach (Florida) where a team of specialists managed to save his leg in an operation lasting several hours. Unfortunately a remora or "shark sucker" snatched the bait and fled into the murky water, straight towards Erich. A bull shark swimming near Erich then also snatched the bait and in so doing bit directly into Erich's calf, injuring him seriously.
It should be noted that shark attacks occur not so often. Sharks Doesn't want to kill people. This is evidenced by the fact that immediately after the bite, shark let go the victim. Shark confuse people with food that hobnob in their habitat. As usually Flippers for diving resemble with flippers of seal. And The last case, ended tragically just for fish and bait. Big bull shark, showed up from muddy bay water near Myrtle Beach, and ate girl's bait with catch and spoon-bait also.

Great White Shark Cage Breach Accident

This is not our usual kids content and Gabe and Garrett did not go on this trip, this video is from my trip to Guadalupe Island (I'm their dad).
On a recent great white shark cage diving trip we experienced a very rare event, a shark breaching the side of the cage. What might appear to be an aggressive great white shark trying to attack the cage, this is not the case. These awesome sharks are biting at large chunks of tuna tied to a rope. When a great white shark lunges and bites something, it is temporarily blinded. They also cannot swim backwards. So this shark lunged at the bait, accidentally hit the side of the cage, was most likely confused and not able to swim backwards, it thrust forward and broke the metal rail of the cage. There was a single diver inside the cage. He ended up outside the bottom of the cage, looking down on two great white sharks. The diver is a very experienced dive instructor, remained calm, and when the shark thrashed back outside the cage, the diver calmly swam back up and climbed out completely uninjured. The boat crew did an outstanding job, lifting the top of the cage, analyzing the frenzied situation, and the shark was out after a few long seconds. Everyone on the boat returned to the cages the next day, realizing this was a very rare event. The boat owner, captain, and crew are to be commended for making what could've been a tragic event into a happy ending. I'm sure God and luck had a bit to do with it too!
I want to return next year for another great white shark adventure!

1. Crew knows there's a diver in the cage, it's passengers asking if anyone is in there.
2. Shark had very minor injury and is confirmed okay.
3. These tour operators work with the gov't, non-profit agencies, sanctuaries, marine biologists for the good of the sharks.
4. Cage design and bait techniques are being reviewed and changes made if necessary to ensure safety for sharks and divers.
5. 'Leave the sharks alone' got them on the endangered species list because poachers won't leave them alone.
6. No video footage from diver.
7. If you want your post read, don't cuss because it will be auto-filtered.
