Think you know every trick to improving your gas mileage? Here are fuel-saving strategies that aren't common knowledge.
Step 1: Don't sweat it
Go on -- enjoy your air conditioner on the highway. Consumer Reports says that AC's gas-guzzling reputation is undeserved. And, at higher speeds, opening the windows or sunroof can hurt fuel economy by increasing drag.
Step 2: Run on empty
Don't fill up your tank until you're practically on empty; the less fuel you're toting, the lighter your car, and the more efficiently it will run.
Step 3: Turn nozzle upside down
After filling up your car, turn the nozzle upside down before you remove it from your tank. You'll get another half a cup of gas that's stuck in the hose.
Step 4: Tighten your gas cap
Tighten your gas cap after filling up so you don't let any precious fuel evaporate.
Tip
Try to park in the shade. This will also help prevent evaporation.
Step 5: Use your overdrive
Put your car in overdrive for highway driving. It lowers your RPM, or revolutions per minute, which saves gas. Check your owner's manual for the recommended speed at which you may use overdrive.
Tip
If you're due for new tires, get radials; they improve gas mileage by two or three percent.
Step 6: Stay in your lane
Stay in one lane as much as possible; weaving uses up more gas.
Step 7: Cruise correctly
Use cruise control when you're on a flat highway, where it can increase mileage by 7%. But don't use it on uneven roads, where it's not efficient.
Step 8: Turn off everything
Turn off all electronics and climate controls before you cut the engine. With the extras off, your engine won't have to strain so hard to restart, leading to better gas mileage.

There has never been another Machine like this.. and everything is a prototype. We all know this is an ongoing project, and that the Mega Machine will never be truly completed. There is just too much potential. We will continue to play and have fun, creating exciting things for the world to be in awe of.

Highway
A highway is any public road or other public way on land. It is used for major roads, but also includes other public roads and public tracks: It is not an equivalent term to freeway (motorway), or a translation for autobahn, autoroute, etc.
In North American and Australian English, major roads such as controlled-access highways or arterial roads are often state highways (Canada: provincial highways). Other roads may be designated "county highways" in the US and Ontario. These classifications refer to the level of government (state, provincial, county) that maintains the roadway.
In British English, "highway" is primarily a legal term. Everyday use normally implies roads, while the legal use covers any route or path with a public right of access, including footpaths etc.
The term has led to several related derived terms, including highway system, highway code, highway patrol and highwayman.
The term highway exists in distinction to "waterway".
Overview
Major highways are often named and numbered by the governments that typically develop and maintain them. Australia's Highway 1 is the longest national highway in the world at over 14,500 km or 9,000 mi and runs almost the entire way around the continent. China has the world's largest network of highways followed closely by the United States of America. Some highways, like the Pan-American Highway or the European routes, span multiple countries. Some major highway routes include ferry services, such as U.S. Route 10, which crosses Lake Michigan.

Gas
Gas is one of the four fundamental states of matter (the others being solid, liquid, and plasma). A pure gas may be made up of individual atoms (e.g. a noble gas like neon), elemental molecules made from one type of atom (e.g. oxygen), or compound molecules made from a variety of atoms (e.g. carbon dioxide). A gas mixture would contain a variety of pure gases much like the air. What distinguishes a gas from liquids and solids is the vast separation of the individual gas particles. This separation usually makes a colorless gas invisible to the human observer. The interaction of gas particles in the presence of electric and gravitational fields are considered negligible as indicated by the constant velocity vectors in the image. One type of commonly known gas is steam.
The gaseous state of matter is found between the liquid and plasma states, the latter of which provides the upper temperature boundary for gases. Bounding the lower end of the temperature scale lie degenerative quantum gases which are gaining increasing attention. High-density atomic gases super cooled to incredibly low temperatures are classified by their statistical behavior as either a Bose gas or a Fermi gas. After filling up your car, turn the nozzle upside down before you remove it from your tank. You'll get another half a cup of gas that's stuck in the hose.

This project is not for sale, nor can you buy this in stores! A 1 of a Kind, and a masterpiece in the making. There are thousands of Hours into this project as a whole. The project Cost has YET to be determined but getting towards $6000 is a good guess. We will do the math a little later on. A special thank you goes to my team builders David JR (Master builder), David Senior (Project lead), and Grandpa Marvin (Master Crafter), for dedicating 3 months of time and efforts to this History Making Project. There has never been another Machine like this.. and everything is a prototype. We all know this is an ongoing project, and that the Mega Machine will never be truly completed. There is just too much potential. We will continue to play and have fun, creating exciting things for the world to be in awe of.
With this 6wd, 6 RC4WD Evo Predator Track, 4 Brushless Roc 412 Tekin motors, 1 Tekin T8 & RX8 Combo, 1 Tekin FXR (Controls Smoke Kit) 4 Gensace Lipo Batteries, and Amazing Vanquish Products outfitting this rig.. there will be NO STOPPING what it can do. THiS RIG IS NOT WATERPROOF, NOR is it designed for MUD. JUST PURE POWER for MOViNG SNOW, Sand, Dirt and other wise. This truck is NOT BUiLT FOR SCALE.. but instead Built to iNSPiRE iMAGiNATiON.

This project was a Re-build of of my Original PROJECT: OVERKiLL truck. The premise is basically the same, but AMPED up beyond all imagination. This project is not for sale, nor can you buy this in stores! A 1 of a Kind, and a masterpiece in the making. There are thousands of Hours into this project as a whole. The project Cost has YET to be determined but getting towards $6000 is a good guess. We will do the math a little later on. A special thank you goes to my team builders David JR (Master builder), David Senior (Project lead), and Grandpa Marvin (Master Crafter), for dedicating 3 months of time and efforts to this History Making Project. There has never been another Machine like this.. and everything is a prototype. We all know this is an ongoing project, and that the Mega Machine will never be truly completed. There is just too much potential. We will continue to play and have fun, creating exciting things for the world to be in awe of.
With this 6wd, 6 RC4WD Evo Predator Track, 4 Brushless Roc 412 Tekin motors, 1 Tekin T8 & RX8 Combo, 1 Tekin FXR (Controls Smoke Kit) 4 Gensace Lipo Batteries, and Amazing Vanquish Products outfitting this rig.. there will be NO STOPPING what it can do. THiS RIG IS NOT WATERPROOF, NOR is it designed for MUD. JUST PURE POWER for MOViNG SNOW, Sand, Dirt and other wise. This truck is NOT BUiLT FOR SCALE.. but instead Built to iNSPiRE iMAGiNATiON.
