This quadcopter was built during a bachelor project at Aalborg University, Department of Energy Engineering (Mechatronic Control Engineering). One day after its first flight, this flight is a test of its outdoor performance in windy weather. The system is built from scratch, using bought motors, ESCs and propellers, while the body frame was cut out in carbon fibre. The control was designed and programmed on a Texas Instruments LaunchPad (F28069M) based on a nonlinear model and an optimisation scheme.
