Down and Out with Donald Duck (1987)

Plot: This "duckumentary," done in the style of "60 Minutes," traces the life of Donald Duck. As Donald's fame grows, so does his ego. While hosting a variety show one night, Donald snaps and fires a gun at the audience for misbehaving. This leads to a series of problems that eventually cause Donald to seek psychiatric help from Ludwig Von Drake, who uses an insult machine as part of Donald's therapy. Then, after a long night of bizarre dreams, Donald learns the error of his ways and vows to reform.

[Donald is driving along on a vacation to cure his temper, to the music of "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf on the radio, when the music gets interrupted by a news bulletin]::Donald Duck: [stopping the car] What goes on here?::Radio Voice #1: And now, a special announcement: Donald Duck, that well-known actor, has left the Disney Studios and is headed for parts unknown.::Donald Duck: [laughing] You're not kidding, buddy.::[He changes the station]::Radio Voice #2: We turn from the White House now to a really important story, one that concerns the ingratitude of hams. Donald Duck, that ham actor, has cooked his own goose by...::Donald Duck: [shocked; upset] Oh, yeah? Oh, yeah? Look who's calling *me* a ham!::[He changes the station again]::Radio Voice #3: Looks as though Donald's career is at the skin. His fabulous mansion has been foreclosed. That charming actress Daisy Duck has been seen with someone else.::[Donald now is on the verge of tears; he starts sniffing]::Radio Voice #3: Fans are dying to know how she could have stood his temper for so long. Donald Duck: [in a dream, running away from large chess pieces and finds a hall of open doors] What's this? [goes in one door, comes out another] Where does this go? [continues to run through them] I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!

Crazy Over Daisy (1950)

Donald's Dilemma (1947)

Plot: Donald and Daisy are walking when he is hit by a flowerpot. He's convinced he's a famous singer, and he croons divinely, but does not recognize Daisy. He in fact does become famous. Daisy is devastated by her inability to get over him and sees a psychiatrist. He tells her she has to choose between the world having Donald, or her getting him back. She picks herself, and drops another flowerpot, which restores him.

Sleepy Time Donald (1947)

Plot: Donald Duck would never believe it, but he suffers from sleepwalking. In this blessed innocent state he makes a nightly call at Daisy's, as if it were the time of their romantic appointment; knowing one should not wake or contradict a sleepwalker, she plays along, but finds it increasingly difficult to follow Donald and prevent him coming to harm when he ignorantly strolls the most dangerous places, such as the lion's cage in the zoo, including impossible ones, such as up a wall and even upside down. When she finally gets Donald safely in bed, he wakes up and thinks, seeing her sneak out, she's the sleepwalker...

Cured Duck (1945)

Plot: Donald visits Daisy. When he can't open a window, he flies into a rage and practically destroys her house. She won't see him again until he takes care of that temper. He orders a mail-order insult machine, which promises that if Donald can endure 10 minutes of abuse without losing his temper, he'll be cured. It proceeds to deliver physical and verbal abuse, and Donald is cured. He goes back and Daisy tests him on the balky window.

Images of merciless pursuit by the police and rotting jail finish him off, so he takes a dish washing job, all night, but will that make everything all-right?

They get to Daisy's house first, but Donald buys them off with ice cream, which works for about 10 seconds. Eventually, Donald and Daisy do some pretty wild dancing, made wilder when the nephews get a hot ear of popcorn into Donald.
