Oh, Josephine. Her only joy comes from her accordion, which she plays much to the chagrin of her abusive husband Moe, a drunk couch potato who has little interest in her music or her existence.
Roach knows this.
In his wee apartment nestled in a crack in the kitchen tile, the little insect plays complementary violin to Josephine’s wind box. Roach has fallen in love with her. If only she wasn’t 45,000 times his body mass! Nevertheless, that doesn’t stop Roach from carrying out his clever plan inspired by watching science shows. Can Roach win Josephine’s affection by manipulating Moe like a 300-pound sock puppet?
A film by Jonathan Langager.
The film won Silver at the 2013 Student Academy Award for Best Narrative. Principal Cast: Jenna Augen, Jerry White Jr. Made at USC.
