Trust is a 2010 American drama film directed by David Schwimmer and based on a screenplay by Andy Bellin and Robert Festinger, and an uncredited story by Schwimmer. It stars Clive Owen, Catherine Keener, Jason Clarke, Viola Davis and Liana Liberato.
The film is about a teenage girl who becomes a victim of sexual abuse when she befriends a man on the Internet.
Fourteen-year-old Annie Cameron lives in suburban Chicago. On her birthday, her parents give her a laptop. When she meets Charlie in an online chat room, she establishes an instant connection with him. At first, Charlie states that he is 16 years old. Over time, as the two bond by sending phone text messages and through instant messaging, he bumps his age up to 18, 20, then 25. Annie is taken aback at first, but comes to believe that the two of them are in love.
After two months of communicating electronically, Charlie invites Annie to meet him at the mall. While her parents are dropping off Annie's brother at college, Annie goes to the mall and awaits her first face-to-face meeting with Charlie. When he appears, she discovers that he is a man in his 30s. Annie is upset at first, but he charms her into going with him to a motel. Charlie then has her try on some lingerie which he bought for her and begins to touch her inappropriately. When she tells him no, he pushes her down onto the bed and rapes her, and even films the assault.
Actors: Annie McCain Engman (actress), Colby Hanik (director), Colby Hanik (writer), Colby Hanik (producer), Aaron Covich (editor), Aaron Covich (producer), Bryan Breau (actor), Zach Johnson-Dunlop (actor), Joshua Kramer (composer), Rich Logan (actor), Dennis Davies (actor),
Genres: Crime, Drama, Mystery, Short,Actors: Brent Sims (actor), Brent Sims (producer), Brent Sims (writer), Brent Sims (director),
Plot: With Gutter Punks (Cinequest, 1998), Sims took a gritty and intimate look at street kids. In Becoming Vex, he again focuses his attention towards young people (this time twenty-somethings) and portrays perhaps a more misanthropic view of society and the effects of violence. Trust lives in the 'burbs. Back in the day, Trust and his two friends, Johnny One Eye and Lefty, spent their free time (which there was a lot of) raising hell and kicking ass. Several years later, Johnny's work for a local crime lord has landed him in jail, and Trust has begun to question the semi-normal life he has taken. After Trust is fired, a trigger fires in his head, and a new war begins, with Trust at the forefront. Together with Lefty and Johnny-recently paroled-Trust leads the fight against "The Signal," the source of ultimate evil. But is there a signal? Or is that just something in Trust's mind?

This year, we have seen movies take a shift into a new topic: The online realm. From Catfish to The Social Network, movies are talking about what everyone else on the planet is talking with: Facebook, Gchat, Twitter, iChat, et cetera. Trust touches on this theme once the high school freshman Annie Cameron (Liana Liberato) meets Charlie, a high school volleyball player from California, in a chat room. Charlie and Annie begin sharing photos, texts, tips on how Annie can make the team, et cetera. Annie, like so many young girls, begins quite an infatuation with Charlie. She then learns he lied about his age. He's really a 20-year-old. Then he lies again. He's really a 25-year-old. And guess what? He lied again. http://www.theparallaxreview.com/ciff_2010/trust.html

Frank Moore’s The Uncomfortable Zones Of Fun experiments in experience/participation performance Recorded at Temescal Arts Center, Oakland, California Saturday, February 27, 2010. Below is what I wrote after this performance: Ah! How do you measure success in a performance? Maybe when the audience [the people who come to the performance] start crying uncontrollably over releases of blocks that just disappeared just by walking through them with willingness and trust. Or maybe when a young sexy co-ed rocks nude on your lap, arousing all kinds of new possibilities. Or maybe when you attract a wide range of people, all ready to go all the way into the volcano, melting into a cozy little joyful community, willing to be uncomfortable and whatever else it takes to go into adventures of fun,...
Finally, its finished... we have put a lot of effort and time onto making this showreel. its definitely one of the toughest edit to date since we have a high bar to be raised with the success of our previous showcase in 2009. The previous showcase won 2 awards in local (AVPA) and international (WEVA) so we are very much hoping to win more this time if we can. The biggest challenge in editing this showcase is indeed... choosing the clips.. we have soooo many wonderful clips that we really love from our previous clients. Most of them actually had a special meaning to us and while I was editing the piece, it brought back a lot of memories to me about each of the couples that we have filmed. 4 1/2 minutes is definitely very very short for this showcase. We have tried our best to put in clips...
This is the opening title sequence for the MAD MMX event, where we were given total creative free hand. The trust they put on us was so big that Domestika, the organizers, wouldn’t see any of it until the opening day! This freedom allowed us to take an experimental stance and to explore the possibilities of using a DIY 3D scanner (Kyle McDonald), without the imposition of a storyboard or animatic as in commercial projects. The true spirit of Physalia blends graphics motion with technological research, and this project offered us the opportunity to test and twist the possibilities of the scanner and of the creative process as well. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it, and please send us any comments! Direction & Animation: Physalia ( http://www.physaliastudio.com ) Mu...

It's getting better and better. Helicopter is almost perfectly tuned, Video reception was remarkably improved. And I finally regained my trust in the whole equipment. Absolutely no lockouts during the last two days, with range between 500 and 800m. Setup: KDS 450 chassis, RJX flybarless main rotorhead, Align T-Rex 450 Pro Tail bladeholder, BeastX microbeast V-Bar, Roxxy ECS, Scorpion 2221-8 Motor, Rhino 4S 2350 mAh 20C Battery. The 4S Battery was a very good choice, less load on the Battery, and 11 minutes flight time! Music: Boys Noize - Don't Believe The Hype
It is the most ambitious film I have ever attempted. Much effort will go into psyching myself into going through with this project. This is the very first. For more details read my blog post about the project at http://onesmallwindow.com/2010/12/03/trust-a-teaser/

Trust in the lord with all your heart
Lean not on your own understanding
In all of your ways acknowledge him
And he will make you paths straight
Don't worry about tomorrow
He's got it under control
Just trust in the lord with all of your heart
And he will carry you through
Lord sometimes it gets so tough
To keep my eyes on you
When thinks are going rough
But when I turn my eyes up to the sky
And I hear your voice is says to me
So child do not be weary with the troubles
Of this world I have overcome
