Foton New car showroom
The Beiqi Foton Motor Group begun manufacturing trucks, buses, agricultural machinery and utility vehicles in 1996 as a subsidiary of the Chinese state-owned Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. Although their initial focus was on China and The Philippines it expanded to include an Indian sales department in 2011 and a headquarters based out of Moscow in 2010. The fast-growing company was named the most valuable Chinese commercial vehicle brand in 2015 by the World Brand Summit. Although they are predominantly a light and heavy trucks manufacturer, Foton released a Toyota Hiace lookalike, the Foton Alpha to great review and were even the vehicle providers for the G20 summit in 2016. By far Futon’s most well-known model is the Tunland, which has managed to break into the heavily saturated utility vehicle market.
