The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a non-profit association which regulates athletes of 1,281 institutions, conferences, organizations, and individuals. It also organizes the athletic programs of many colleges and universities in the United States and Canada, and helps more than 450,000 college student-athletes who compete annually in college sports. The organization is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2014 the NCAA generated almost a billion dollars in revenue. 80 to 90% of this revenue was due to the Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. This revenue is then distributed back into various organizations and institutions across the United States.
In August 1973, the current three-division setup of Division I, Division II, and Division III was adopted by the NCAA membership in a special convention. Under NCAA rules, Division I and Division II schools can offer scholarships to athletes for playing a sport. Division III schools may not offer any athletic scholarships. Generally, larger schools compete in Division I and smaller schools in II and III. Division I football was further divided into I-A and I-AA in 1978. Subsequently the term "Division I-AAA" was briefly added to delineate Division I schools which do not field a football program at all, but that term is no longer officially used by the NCAA. In 2006, Divisions I-A and I-AA were respectively renamed the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
The term junior college refers to different educational institutions in different countries.
In India, most states provide schooling through 12th grade. Maharashtra, Odisha, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka however, have a system of junior colleges where, after taking the 10th grade board exams (see SSLC, SSC), students have to apply to junior colleges to complete their 11th and 12th grades. Junior colleges are also referred to as Pre-University Colleges (PUC). Junior colleges are frequently co-located with degree colleges.
Prominent junior colleges in Mumbai include St. Xavier's, Kishinchand Chelaram, Jai Hind, Bhavan's, Ruparel, Mithibai, St.Andrews College & Ramnarain Ruia. Prominent junior colleges in Bangalore include Christ Junior College, St. Joseph's College, Vijaya College. Prominent junior colleges in Hyderabad include Sri Chaitanya Junior college,Narayana Junior college and MS Junior college and their branches spread all over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, often abridged as Last Week Tonight, is an American late-night talk and news satire television program airing on Sundays on HBO in the United States and HBO Canada, and on Mondays (originally Tuesdays) on Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom. The half-hour long show premiered on Sunday, April 27, 2014, and is hosted by comedian John Oliver. Last Week Tonight shares some similarities with Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where Oliver was previously featured as a correspondent and fill-in host, as it takes a satirical look at news, politics and current events on a weekly basis.
Oliver has said that he has full creative freedom, including free rein to criticize corporations. His initial contract with HBO was for two years with an option for extension. In February 2015, it was announced that the show has been renewed for two additional seasons of 35 episodes each. Oliver and HBO programming president Michael Lombardo have discussed extending the show from half an hour to a full hour and airing more than once a week after Oliver "gets his feet under him".
Emmanuel College may refer to one of several academic institutions:

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) generates billions of dollars a year, primarily through its two most lucrative sports: football and basketball. Through television contracts and endorsements, college sports has become big business. The college sports industry generates, on average, $11 billion in annual revenues. Seemingly left out of the equation is the "student athlete." But with recent landmark cases like the Ed O'Bannon antitrust class action lawsuit against the NCAA, critique and calls for reform of the current status quo have grown louder. What does the future of the NCAA athlete and the university hold? What role does sport play at the university? Should players get paid? What kind of realistic changes can be instituted without severely impacting the sustainabi...

History [edit]Partridge and his academy The university was founded in 1819 at Norwich by military educator and former superintendent of West Point, Captain Alden B. Partridge. Captain Partridge believed in the "American System of Education," a traditional liberal arts curriculum with instruction in civil engineering and military science. By Daniel Woolfolk Swordfighting isn't a sport that's generally associated with the Upper West Side, at least not since the gritty days of West Side Story. But one Upper West Sider has shown quite a knack for it, so much so that she could be representing the United States in fencing at the 2012 Olympics in London. Becoming Columbia University Student Athlete of the Month is quite an honor. It is also a feat Nicole Ross, a fencer and Upper West Side native, has earned twice in 2010. In March, she became the National Collegiate Athletic Association fencing champion in the foil, her competition weapon. Last year, at the 2009 Junior World Fencing Championships in Belfast, Ross helped the United States team's first world win in her event, women's foil fencing. "It was super exciting and grat...

Why publish on paper when online stories are cheaper to produce, easier to disseminate and faster to circulate? The staff of Champion magazine, published by the National Collegiate Athletic Association and distributed online to a general audience and in print to college presidents, university athletics departments and college coaches, asks that question every day. In this webinar, Champion’s editor explains how the magazine uses research, readership surveys and quality content to make the right choices for its audience – and the steps Champion is taking to be ready for what comes next.
