Jat leader said that though we do not want to harass the public, we are left with no option to make our voice heard. We would block various rail tracks and important national highways in Hisar district.
After Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonipat and Jind, Jats of Hisar district on Wednesday (17 February 2016) blocked the Sirsa-Delhi national highway-10 near the under-construction toll plaza in Ramayan village which is about 2km from Mayyar. Jats also blocked the railway track after holding meetings with other village youths.
As Jat protesters started blocking the railway and national highway, the Hisar police was seen managing distance about 5kms from the dharna spot.
Army has taken charge of the situation in two villages and shoot-at-sight orders have been issued to the troops. Villagers have been directed to stay indoors till the next orders.
Jats agitating for quotas in government jobs and colleges halted water supply to the nation’s capital (Delhi) through the 102km-long Munak canal, even as the army conducted flag marches in Rohtak, one of the three districts under curfew.
The Munak canal supplies 80 million gallons of water a day Delhi via water treatment plants in the capital.
The army, called out in nine districts, had to use helicopters to reach some areas of Rohtak where agitators had cut off road links.
The army carried out a flag march in Hisar and cleared rail and road blockades, but the agitators continued to treat in arson and violence.
Protesters had targeted private vehicles, buildings housing offices, including two toll plazas at Hansi in Hissar district and near Rohtak, both located on the Delhi-Hisar-Fazilka National Highway.
As the situation turned volatile, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh appealed for calm and said “I appeal to all to maintain peace and ensure that there are no untoward incidents.”
Haryana government declared that it has been decided that in coming Assembly session, OBC status will be granted to Jats.
The blockade on NH-10 in Sampla was still on.
Haryana Government said curfew will continue to be imposed in the Jat dominated district till there is complete normalcy.
There is relief in curfew for like one hour depending upon the situation to allow people to buy essential items.
Government said that they are observing the situation and trying to convince Jat protestors to end their agitation. Police have made sufficient security arrangements and we will not allow anyone to take law into hands.
Curfew from 8pm to 6am in Hisar District
The curfew has been imposed in Hisar from 8pm to 6am on Sunday (20 February 2016) to control the situation. Everyone was requested not to come out of their homes during these hours on roads in Hisar.
Finally, Haryana government said that it would fully compensate people whose private property was damaged during the Jat agitation.
Lastly, RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat suggested that a non-political committee should be formed to decide on eligibility for reservation. Person not getting opportunity only because of his birth in a particular caste should not happen.
Many leaders in Haryana appealed for end to agitation in Haryana and said that their demands have been met.
Efforts have being made to restore peace and harmony by different social organisations and groups of people in Haryana.

Hisar, May 14 (ANI): A wanted criminal was shot dead inside the premises of Hisar court allegedly by an armed assailant in firing on Thursday. The criminal was to be produced before a court today. The criminal was facing charges of murder and attempt to murder registered under the provisions of the Arms Act in Hisar, Hansi and Jind. He was shot dead by a man identified as Sajid, a resident of Balsamand village of Hisar district, as he was being taken towards the courtroom. The criminal succumbed to bullet injuries on the spot and an ASI was injured in the firing.

Hisar (city)
Hisar 
pronunciation (Hindi: हिसार), previously spelled Hissar, is the administrative headquarters of Hisar district in the state of Haryana in northwestern India. It is located 164 kilometres to the west of New Delhi, India's capital, and has been identified as a counter-magnet city for the National Capital Region to attract migrants and develop as an alternative centre of growth to Delhi. As of June 2012, Hisar is India's largest galvanized iron manufacturing city. Due to presence of a large steel industry, it is also known as "The City of Steel".
The city was ruled by several major powers, including the Mauryans in the 3rd century BC, the Tughlaqs in the 14th century, the Mughals in the 16th century and the British in the 19th century. After India achieved independence, it was unified with the state of Punjab. When the Punjab was divided in 1966, Hisar became part of Haryana.
The current name was given in 1354 AD, as Hisar-e-Firoza by Firuz Shah Tughlaq, the Sultanate of Delhi from 1351 to 1388. The Ghaggar and Drishadvati rivers once flowed through the city but they have now changed their course. Hisar has a continental climate, with very hot summers and relatively cool winters. The most commonly spoken languages are Hindi, Haryanvi and Bagri.

Hisar district
Hisar district (Hindi: हिसार जिला) is one of the 21 districts of Haryana state, India. Hisar city serves as the district headquarters. The district is also part of Hisar division, which is headed by a commissioner who is employed by the Indian Administrative Service.
The largest district in Haryana until its 1966 reorganization, some parts of Hisar were transferred to the newly created Jind district. In 1974, Tehsil Bhiwani and Loharu were transferred to Bhiwani district. Hisar was further bifurcated when Sirsa district was formed. Fatehabad district was later created as well.
Hisar is a divisional headquarters of the Hisar division Divisional Commissioner and also the headquarters of Police Range. It is also a battalion headquarters of B.S.F. 3rd Bn. H.A.P. and commando force. In order to accommodate all of these departments, a five storey District Administrative Complex was built, with the offices transferred in 1980. It adjoins the new Judiciary Complex, which is also made functional. This administrative and judiciary complex is the largest in Haryana; as a district headquarters it may be one of the largest in the country.

Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. There are 844 females per thousand males. Hisar has an average literacy rate of 81.04%, higher than the national average: male literacy is 86.13% and female literacy is 75.00%. In Hisar, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age and the child sex ratio of girls to boys is 860 per thousand boys. Although Hisar city has population of 301,249; its urban population is 306,893 of which 166,623 are males and 140,270 are females. The decadal growth rate was 27.06%. In 1960s, the per capita income of the city was the highest in the country.

Located in the northwest corner of the country (just south of Istanbul), Bursa was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire and today thrives as one of the country’s most industrialized cities. Join David as he tours all the top things to see and do in Bursa, from the coolest historical sites to some of the best shopping. Most tours should kick off around Zafer Plaza and the Grand Bazaar, where visitors can explore one of the city’s most famous items of trade: silk. Located in the Koza Han section, you can explore two levels and over 40 shops of beautiful, authentic, 100% “ipek” (silk products)- the perfect gift or souvenir to bring back home. From here you can visit the stunning 14th century Ulu Cami, or Grand Mosque (a great example of early Ottoman architecture), the beautifully tiled Yesil Türbe (Green Tomb of Mehmed I) and Hisar- the citadel entrance and last remaining gate of the Old City Wall. A bit outside the city center, visitors can find Inkaya- a 600-year-old sycamore tree planted by the Ottomans… a great place to visit in the morning for some coffee/tea & breakfast! Travel To Sofia, Bulgaria Is Fun At Affordable Price
Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. This city is full of possibilities to have fun. I spoke with many foreigners who have been in Bulgaria and Sofia and most of them shared these impressions:
1) Bulgarian restaurants and especially these in Sofia are good, really good. It is very easy to find a good place where you can eat organic, quality food. The food in Bulgaria is still organic and you can feel the real taste of fruits and vegetables.
2) You can live better in Bulgaria with the money you spent in American or Western European country. Services in Bulgaria are really affordable - I give you my best example - haircut is 5 euros and visit to the dentist is 10-15 euros (I mean not only the visit, but the most common manipulation - the filling).
3) Shopping - there are many Bulgarian clothes brands that are really good - can you imagine buying quality suit in Europe for fewer than 100 euros?
4) Night clubs are open until there are people who want to have fun, you can dance with local young people and recharge your batteries.
5) Bulgaria is full of places with hot mineral water sources which have healing power - Hisar, Velingrad, Vonesta Voda, Bankia and many others.
6) Countryside is beautiful - mountains to climb, nice views to take pictures and hospitable villages to have a sleep.
7) Bulgaria has 4 seasons and you can enjoy sunbathing and skiing. Springs and autumns are with very mild climate and you can practice nice walk in the parks or to the nearest mountain.
8) If you want to loose weight, Bulgaria is the perfect location. 2 weeks stay at special weight loss center is no more than 500 euros including room, food, exercises and health control.
