I haven't done a plotted vid in sometime so if this looks dodgy, I do apologise. I'll try to keep this short. It was also originally 'Promise This' but the song was too short for the story line.
The grey at the beginning represents Elizabeth and Dudley's relationship before she is queen. At a party, she sees him dance with another woman (who unknown to her is Amy Rosbart, his wife) and although Kat Ashley points out suitors, she and Dudley perform a Volta in front of the whole court. Sir William Cecil tells her ladies in waiting to tell him if Dudley comes to Elizabeth at night.
One night, Elizabeth panics over 'an upcoming meeting with Parliament' (meaning Dudley) and Francis Walsingham finds her crying. He tells her that Dudley is married to Rosbart and when he was about to leave, she begs him to stay with her.
An affair begins between the couple and as they continue about their duties, she begins to actually worry about the Uniformity Act. Walsingham tells her to leave it to him, and locks some of the opposition away so she could win the argument.
Later on , she furiously tells the court she does not need a husband before telling Walsingham to come with her...in front of them all, including the Spanish ambassador and Robert Dudley.
The following bit shows Dudley putting two and two together and realises that Walsingham and Elizabeth are sleeping together. He has an argument with Elizabeth over it in front of Cecil and the French Ambassador. She realises she has to end it, and tells Walsingham to return to his home to his *French* wife and their two children. When he returns both of his children and their nanny seem afraid of him....hmmm....
Meanwhile, Dudley is back in Elizabeth's favour and Walsingham tells his wife about Elizabeth ruling with her heart and not her head...

Walsingham

Walsingham is a village (actually two conjoined villages: Little Walsingham and Great Walsingham) in the English county of Norfolk. The village is famed for its religious shrines in honour of the Virgin Mary and as a major pilgrimage centre. It also contains the ruins of two medieval monastic houses.
The civil parish, which includes the two Walsinghams, together with the depopulated medieval village of Egmere (grid reference TF 897 374), has an area of 18.98 km² and in the 2001 census had a population of 864 in 397 households, the population decreasing to 819 at the 2011 census. For the purposes of local government the parish falls within the district of North Norfolk.
Walsingham became a major centre of pilgrimage. In 1061, according to the Walsingham legend, a Saxon noblewoman, Richeldis de Faverches, had a vision of the Virgin Mary in which she was instructed to build a replica of the house of the Holy Family in Nazareth in honour of the Annunciation. Her family name does not appear in the Domesday Book.

Our Lady of Walsingham
Our Lady of Walsingham is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary venerated by Roman Catholics and Anglicans associated with the reputed Marian apparitions to Richeldis de Faverches, a pious English noblewoman in 1061 in the village of Walsingham in Norfolk, England. Lady Richeldis had a building structure named The Holy House built in Walsingham which later became a shrine and place of pilgrimage.
In passing on his guardianship of the Holy House, Richeldis's son Geoffrey left instructions for the building of a priory in Walsingham. The priory passed into the care of the Canons Regular sometime between 1146 and 1174.
Pope Pius XII granted a canonical coronation to the Roman Catholic image via the Papal Nuncio, Bishop Gerald O'Hara, on 15 August 1954 with a gold crown funded by her female devotees, now venerated in the Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham.
Marian apparition
According to the reputed Marian apparition to Lady Richeldis, the Blessed Virgin Mary fetched her soul from England to Nazareth during a religious ecstasy to show the house where the Holy Family once lived and was then tasked to build an imitation of the home in which the Annunciation of Archangel Gabriel occurred. The building structure came to be known as the Holy House, and later became both a shrine and the focus of pilgrimage to Walsingham. The wooden image was carved in Oberammergau, Germany and was once associated with the Virgin of Mercy under the venerated Marian title of Our Lady of Ransom, sometimes locally worded as Our Lady of the Dowry. The popularity of the Marian cult gradually localized the place of devotion as Our Lady of Walsingham.

Shrines to the Virgin Mary
In the culture and practice of some Christian churches — mainly, but not solely, the Roman Catholic Church — a shrine to the Virgin Mary (or Marian shrine) is a shrine marking an apparition or other miracle ascribed to the Blessed Virgin Mary, or a site on which is centered a historically strong Marian devotion. Such locales are often the destination of pilgrimages.
Some of the largest shrines arose from reported Marian apparitions to young and simple people on remote hilltops that had hardly been heard of prior to the reported apparition. The story of Saint Juan Diego's reported vision of Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1531 is similar to that of Saint Bernadette Soubirous' vision in 1858 of Our Lady of Lourdes. Both saints reported a miraculous woman on a hilltop who asked them to request that the local priests build a chapel at the site of the vision. Both visions included a reference to roses and led to large churches being built at the sites. Like Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, Our Lady of Lourdes is a major Catholic symbol in France. Both visionaries were eventually declared saints.

I haven't done a plotted vid in sometime so if this looks dodgy, I do apologise. I'll try to keep this short. It was also originally 'Promise This' but the song was too short for the story line.
The grey at the beginning represents Elizabeth and Dudley's relationship before she is queen. At a party, she sees him dance with another woman (who unknown to her is Amy Rosbart, his wife) and although Kat Ashley points out suitors, she and Dudley perform a Volta in front of the whole court. Sir William Cecil tells her ladies in waiting to tell him if Dudley comes to Elizabeth at night.
One night, Elizabeth panics over 'an upcoming meeting with Parliament' (meaning Dudley) and Francis Walsingham finds her crying. He tells her that Dudley is married to Rosbart and when he was about to leave, she begs him to stay with her.
An affair begins between the couple and as they continue about their duties, she begins to actually worry about the Uniformity Act. Walsingham tells her to leave it to him, and locks some of the opposition away so she could win the argument.
Later on , she furiously tells the court she does not need a husband before telling Walsingham to come with her...in front of them all, including the Spanish ambassador and Robert Dudley.
The following bit shows Dudley putting two and two together and realises that Walsingham and Elizabeth are sleeping together. He has an argument with Elizabeth over it in front of Cecil and the French Ambassador. She realises she has to end it, and tells Walsingham to return to his home to his *French* wife and their two children. When he returns both of his children and their nanny seem afraid of him....hmmm....
Meanwhile, Dudley is back in Elizabeth's favour and Walsingham tells his wife about Elizabeth ruling with her heart and not her head...

I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising.
