All-New 2017 Yamaha R15 V 3.0
Jakatra: Today, at a press conference held exclusively for local Yamaha dealers, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), along with Yamaha Motor Co. Japan revealed the all-new 2017 Yamaha YZF-R15 V 3.0 for the first time. And all we have from that event is a single, grainy image.
Presenting the motorcycle was none other than acclaimed Moto GP rider Valentino Rossi. He was accompanied by Maverick Viñales, his fellow rider from Yamaha Motor Racing, the official Italian-Japanese factory team of Yamaha in MotoGP.
The event was also attended by the CEO of Yamaha Motor Corp. Japan, Hiroyuki Yanagi. According to reports, the Yamaha YZF-R15 MY 2017 will be revealed to the public at the Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java, on Monday (01/23/2017).
All we know for now that apart from all-new styling, the 2017 Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 will feature LED headlamps, a ram air intake, USD front forks, a fully digital instrument cluster, ABS (unconfirmed), a dual tone colour scheme, and of course, the evergreen Delta Box frame.
As for the engine, it will be a completely new, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected 155cc mill that’ll deliver improved efficiency, more power and better distribution of it courtesy Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology.

コンパクトな3軸配置でボア×ストローク67.0mm×42.5mm、圧縮比13.1:1の水冷4ストロークDOHC並列4気筒・4バルブエンジンは、従来のツインインジェクター採用電子制御スロットルYCC-T、回転数・スロットル開度に応じファンネル長をロング/ショートに切り替える可変吸気管長機構YCC-I、リアホイールのホッピングやロックなどを防止しコーナーリング時の姿勢制御を助けて滑らかな進入性を引き出すスリッパークラッチ、コンパクトなラムダセンサー付き三元触媒内蔵のミッドシップマフラー、排気管内の排気脈動を制御して吸排気効率アップを図る軽量・コンパクト設計のEXUP(エグザップ)に加え、加速時に後輪タイヤの駆動力を効率よく引き出すTCS(トラクションコントロールシステム)、機敏で滑らかなシフトアップ操作を支援するQSS(クイックシフターシステム)を新たに採用。
TCSは発進時などで後輪がスリップ・ホイールスピンを起こす兆候を検知し、添加時期、燃料噴射料、スロットル開度(YCC-T)を統合制御。ライダーのテクニックや走行環境に応じ、介入度を最大から最小まで6段階とOFF(介入なし)まで、ハンドルスイッチのTCSボタンで自由に選択が可能で、作動時にライダーが違和感を憶えることのない作動特性の穏やかな自然なセッティングとして滑らかな発進性・走行性を支援する。またタイヤ摩耗による接地半径やグリップ力の変化に対する補正機能を実装している。
QSSはシフトペダルの動きをシフトロッドに設けたスイッチが検知し、ECUの演算によってエンジン出力を補正することでドッグクラッチに噛み合っているギアの駆動トルクを瞬間的にキャンセル、シフトアップ操作を支援する。現行YZF-R1と同様の仕組みである。
なおアルミ鍛造ピストン、高い信頼性を持ち馬力ロスを低減するチタン製吸排気バルブ、マグネシウム性ベッドカバー・ケースカバー、チタン製サイレンサーなど、従来モデルの優れた特長を引き継いでいる。

【サーキットポテンシャルを高めた新型タンクとシートデザイン】
17リッターの容量を持つフューエルタンクは軽量化と乗車姿勢の自由度を高めるため、ニーポケット部を抉り素早いライダーの動きにマッチするアルミ製。従来の鉄製と比較し1.2kgの軽量化を果たしている。
このニーポケット部の深い抉れなど複雑なタンク成形は、縮みにくいアルミ材では従来困難だったが、プレス成形後にロボットによるCMT(Cold Metal Transfer)溶接と溶接機アームが入り込めない裏側を熟練スタッフが手作業で溶接、強度と密封性を得るとともに背面溶接跡のないアルミならではの美しい仕上がりを実現している。
シートレールもスポーツ走行に於けるライダーの機敏な動作を支えるため、スリムな新作CFマグネシウムダイキャスト製。シート前端部のリアフレーム幅を20mmスリム化し、それに合わせてシートも新設計。乗車位置の自由度を増やしながら上面の傾斜をなだらかにすることで太腿部分の形状を最適化、ニーグリップしやすいタンクと相まってライダーアクションと足つき性、フィット感を両立させている。

After more than a decade, Yamaha has come out with a "new" YZF-R6. Sharing the same engine and frame as the old R6, however, what's so new about it? For starters, it's now joined the electronic age with traction control, ride modes, and ABS. Forks are borrowed from the R1, discs are bigger, and the front master cylinder is now Nissin instead of Brembo. It also comes pre-wired for an accessory quickshifter and Yamaha's data acquisition module, the Communication Control Unit (CCU).
But the most obvious change is the bodywork. Inspired by the R1, Yamaha says the R6 is the most aerodynamic production motorcycle it has ever made. So how does it perform? Here's Motorcycle.com's Troy Siahaan to tell you.

History
Yamaha was established in 1887 as a piano and reed organ manufacturer by Torakusu Yamaha as Nippon Gakki Company, Limited (日本楽器製造株式会社, Nippon Gakki Seizō Kabushiki Kaisha) (literally Japan Musical Instrument Manufacturing Corporation) in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture and was incorporated on October 12, 1897. The company's origins as a musical instrument manufacturer is still reflected today in the group's logo—a trio of interlocking tuning forks.
After World War II, company president Genichi Kawakami repurposed the remains of the company's war-time production machinery and the company's expertise in metallurgical technologies to the manufacture of motorcycles. The YA-1 (AKA Akatombo, the "Red Dragonfly"), of which 125 were built in the first year of production (1954), was named in honour of the founder. It was a 125cc, single cylinder, two-stroke, street bike patterned after the German DKW RT125 (which the British munitions firm, BSA, had also copied in the post-war era and manufactured as the Bantam and Harley-Davidson as the Hummer. In 1955, the success of the YA-1 resulted in the founding of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Yamaha YZF-R6
The Yamaha YZF-R6 is a Yamaha 600 class sport bike motorcycle, first introduced in 1998, updated in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2008, and revised in the years in between.
History
The Yamaha YZF-R6 was introduced in 1999 as the super sport version of Yamaha's Yamaha YZF-R1 super bike, and as a companion to the more street-oriented Yamaha YZF600R sport bike which continued to be sold alongside the R6. The motorcycle featured Yamaha's completely new engine design capable of producing over 108 hp (81 kW) while stationary. The R6 was the world's first 600cc production four-stroke motorcycle producing over 100 hp (75 kW) in stock form.
The YZF-R6 has been revised several times since its introduction. Starting with the 2003 model, when the R6 became fuel-injected. The 2006 model year was a significant upgrade with a new engine management system featuring the YCC-T ride by wire throttle and a multi-plate slipper clutch. The 2008 model incorporated the YCC-I variable-length intake system to optimize power at high engine rpm and an improved Deltabox frame design.

Yamaha YZF-R15
The Yamaha YZF-R15 is a 150 cc single cylinder sport bike motorcycle introduced in 2008. In September 2011, the second edition dubbed the v2 was released in India, and in April 2014 it was released in Indonesia.
Specifications
The R-15's look is inspired from the Yamaha YZF-R6. Unlike the first edition, the v2 has a split-seat design, higher seat height, LED tail light, wide tyres, larger gear ratio (15/47), longer wheelbase, rear mudguard, and redesigned middle and tail section. The engine performance was largely similar, still having a six-speed transmission and a linked type sport suspension added on the back. The 2014 Yamaha YZF-R15 released in Indonesia is largely the same as the 2011 version released in India, but with removed mudguard.
The engine is a 149.8 cc single cylinder [four-stroke engine] with four valves and a single overhead cam. The bore and stroke of the engine are 57.0 mm × 58.7 mm (2.24 in × 2.31 in). The radiator is placed in the front of the engine with a fan behind it. The coolant reserve is on the left side up and behind the radiator. The transmission is return type six-speed with a constant mesh wet multi plate clutch.

After more than a decade, Yamaha has come out with a "new" YZF-R6. Sharing the same engine and frame as the old R6, however, what's so new about it? For starters, it's now joined the electronic age with traction control, ride modes, and ABS. Forks are borrowed from the R1, discs are bigger, and the front master cylinder is now Nissin instead of Brembo. It also comes pre-wired for an accessory quickshifter and Yamaha's data acquisition module, the Communication Control Unit (CCU). But the most obvious change is the bodywork. All-New 2017 Yamaha R15 V 3.0 Jakatra: Today, at a press conference held exclusively for local Yamaha dealers, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), along with Yamaha Motor Co. Japan revealed the all-new 2017 Yamaha YZF-R15 V 3.0 for the first time. And all we have from that event is a single, grainy image. Presenting the motorcycle was none other than acclaimed Moto GP rider Valentino Rossi. Jakatra: Today, at a press conference held exclusively for local Yamaha dealers, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), along with Yamaha Motor Co. Japan revealed the all-new 2017 Yamaha YZF-R15 V 3.0 for the first time. And all we have from that event is a single, grainy image.
Presenting the motorcycle was none other than acclaimed Moto GP rider Valentino Rossi. He was accompanied by Maverick Viñales, his fellow rider from Yamaha Motor Racing, the official Italian-Japanese factory team of Yamaha in MotoGP.
The event was also attended by the CEO of Yamaha Motor Corp. Japan, Hiroyuki Yanagi. According to reports, the Yamaha YZF-R15 MY 2017 will be revealed to the public at the Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java, on Monday (01/23/2017).
All we know for now that apart from all-new styling, the 2017 Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 will feature LED headlamps, a ram air intake, USD front forks, a fully digital instrument cluster, ABS (unconfirmed), a dual tone colour scheme, and of course, the evergreen Delta Box frame.
As for the engine, it will be a completely new, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected 155cc mill that’ll deliver improved efficiency, more power and better distribution of it courtesy Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology.

サスペンションはフロントフォークに従来のインナーチューブ41mm径から大径化され、専用セッティングが施されたYZF-R1同型の43mm径のKYB製倒立式サスペンションを採用、φ25mmのフロントアクスルシャフトなどYZF-R1と同型パーツと専用設計のアンダーブラケットで支持され、適切な減衰力の発生と良好な接地製に貢献している。
フロントブレーキもYZF-R1と同型で従来の310mmから320mmに大径化、モノブロック4ピストン、2パッド対向型キャリパーでアルミピストンと高剛性・軽量化を推進、ニッシン製ラジアルマスターシリンダーとの組み合わせで優れた制動力を引き出している。
サスペンションはフロントフォークに従来のインナーチューブ41mm径から大径化され、専用セッティングが施されたYZF-R1同型の43mm径のKYB製倒立式サスペンションを採用、φ25mmのフロントアクスルシャフトなどYZF-R1と同型パーツと専用設計のアンダーブラケットで支持され、適切な減衰力の発生と良好な接地製に貢献している。リアサスペンションは新設計となるKYB製ショックユニットを採用。
フロントブレーキもYZF-R1と同型で従来の310mmから320mmに大径化、モノブロック4ピストン、2パッド対向型キャリパーにアルミピストンと高剛性・軽量化を追求、ニッシン製ラジアルマスターシリンダーとの組み合わせで優れた制動力を引き出している。
ホイールはフロントが北米仕様YZF-R1Sと同型で軽快なデザインの5本スポークアルミキャスト製で、リアは現行型をベースに速度検出用センサーローターを追加し、これらに車両とのマッチングに優れた専用開発の新タイヤを装着している。
【サーキットポテンシャルを高めた新型タンクとシートデザイン】
17リッターの容量を持つフューエルタンクは軽量化と乗車姿勢の自由度を高めるため、ニーポケット部を抉り素早いライダーの動きにマッチするアルミ製。従来の鉄製と比較し1.2kgの軽量化を果たしている。
このニーポケット部の深い抉れなど複雑なタンク成形は、縮みにくいアルミ材では従来困難だったが、プレス成形後にロボットによるCMT(Cold Metal Transfer)溶接と溶接機アームが入り込めない裏側を熟練スタッフが手作業で溶接、強度と密封性を得るとともに背面溶接跡のないアルミならではの美しい仕上がりを実現している。
シートレールもスポーツ走行に於けるライダーの機敏な動作を支えるため、スリムな新作CFマグネシウムダイキャスト製。シート前端部のリアフレーム幅を20mmスリム化し、それに合わせてシートも新設計。乗車位置の自由度を増やしながら上面の傾斜をなだらかにすることで太腿部分の形状を最適化、ニーグリップしやすいタンクと相まってライダーアクションと足つき性、フィット感を両立させている。

【サーキットポテンシャルを高めた新型タンクとシートデザイン】
17リッターの容量を持つフューエルタンクは軽量化と乗車姿勢の自由度を高めるため、ニーポケット部を抉り素早いライダーの動きにマッチするアルミ製。従来の鉄製と比較し1.2kgの軽量化を果たしている。
このニーポケット部の深い抉れなど複雑なタンク成形は、縮みにくいアルミ材では従来困難だったが、プレス成形後にロボットによるCMT(Cold Metal Transfer)溶接と溶接機アームが入り込めない裏側を熟練スタッフが手作業で溶接、強度と密封性を得るとともに背面溶接跡のないアルミならではの美しい仕上がりを実現している。
シートレールもスポーツ走行に於けるライダーの機敏な動作を支えるため、スリムな新作CFマグネシウムダイキャスト製。シート前端部のリアフレーム幅を20mmスリム化し、それに合わせてシートも新設計。乗車位置の自由度を増やしながら上面の傾斜をなだらかにすることで太腿部分の形状を最適化、ニーグリップしやすいタンクと相まってライダーアクションと足つき性、フィット感を両立させている。

After more than a decade, Yamaha has come out with a "new" YZF-R6. Sharing the same engine and frame as the old R6, however, what's so new about it? For starters, it's now joined the electronic age with traction control, ride modes, and ABS. Forks are borrowed from the R1, discs are bigger, and the front master cylinder is now Nissin instead of Brembo. It also comes pre-wired for an accessory quickshifter and Yamaha's data acquisition module, the Communication Control Unit (CCU).
But the most obvious change is the bodywork. Inspired by the R1, Yamaha says the R6 is the most aerodynamic production motorcycle it has ever made. So how does it perform? Here's Motorcycle.com's Troy Siahaan to tell you.
