The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is a charitable organisation registered in the United Kingdom. It was founded as the Plumage League in 1889 by Emily Williamson. It works to promote conservation and protection of birds and the wider environment through public awareness campaigns, petitions and through the operation of nature reserves throughout the United Kingdom.
The RSPB has over 1300 employees, 18 000 volunteers and more than 1 million members (including 195,000 youth members), making it the largest wildlife conservation charity in Europe. The RSPB has many local groups and maintains 200 nature reserves.
The Plumage League was founded in 1889 by Emily Williamson at her house in Didsbury, Manchester, (now in Fletcher Moss Botanical Garden), as a protest group campaigning against the use of great crested grebe and kittiwake skins and feathers in fur clothing. The group gained popularity and eventually amalgamated with the Fur and Feather League in Croydon to form the Society for the Protection of Birds. The Society gained its Royal Charter in 1904.

The fight was brought to a dramatic ending when the RSPB deployed an attack helicopter to eliminate Bill Oddie. This leaked helicopter footage shows the latest in a series of war crimes committed by the Royal Society For The Protection Of Birds against various bird watching groups around the UK. The Chairman of the RSPB refused to comment but issued a statement to the press: ' The RSPB must act to preserve the security of it's birds both abroad and at home.'
A day at Dungeness turned up some good birds. This video highlights some of the more exotic ones. Bird Watching at RSPB Dungeness Nature Reserve - November 2016. Kent, England. Seen a few frog faces being shared recently? It’s all about our new TV advert and campaign, starting on 12 June, to encourage people to get together where they live and give nature the home it needs. The advert features a young boy, his older neighbour and a frog – amongst other wildlife, of course...
"The Victims are what mean the most to us and that we cared so much about. And we're
Friends with, and had our classes with. I just really feel that we are going to be known as
The school that overcame."
(whoa) I know you're feelin' pain right now
(whoa) And you don't wanna talk right now
(whoa) I know you're going through something
And you don't want to be bothered right now (whoa)
Not gonna lie and say I understand
(whoa) I just wanna be here for you if I can
(whoa) To hold your hand and be by your side
And together we will get through these times
And we will cry together (uh huh)
And we'll fight this together (uh huh)
And we'll be strong together
Stand together
Pray together
Rise up
When you feel you cant go on
Rise up
And all of your hope is gone
Rise up
When you're weak and you cant be strong
Rise up (rise up)
Rise up
And when the tears start to fall
Rise up
And you feel you've given it your all
Rise up
When your back is up against the wall
Rise
Rise up
(whoa) Now I know the burdens that you bear
(whoa) And you don't think nobody cares
(whoa) A storm comes out of nowhere
And you feelin' like it just ain't fair (whoa)
Not here to preach about the brighter side (no)
Cause I understand and now is not the time (oh)
See I just want to help you make it right
Walk with you, holding up candle lights
And we will cry together (we will cry together)
And we'll fight this together (stand up and fight)
And we'll be strong together (hey)
Stand together (stand together)
Pray together
Rise up (woo)
When you feel you can't go on (feel like you can't go on)
Rise up
And all of your hope is gone (all your hope is gone)

When you're weak and you can't be strong (hey
Rise (you gotta rise up yeah)
Rise up
And when the tears start to fall (yeah)
Rise up
And you feel you've given it your all
Rise up
When your back is up against the wall
Rise (rise)
You see struggle
Struggle has no color (hey)
No color (hey)
In the midst of crisis
You are my sister (hey) and I'm your brother (yeah)
And side by side we'll face this thing
Standin' tall (standin' tall)
You and me (hey)
Rise up
Rise
Rise up
Rise (Woo)
Rise up (Hey)
Rise
We will rise
Rise up
Heads up to the sky
Rise up
Rise
When all hope has fallen yeah
