Not to be confused with the Bhutanese honorific title Ashi (title).
Ashi (aši) is the Avestan language word for the Zoroastrian concept of "that which is attained." As the hypostasis of "reward," "recompense," or "capricious luck," Ashi is also a divinity in the Zoroastrian hierarchy of yazatas.
Avestan 'ashi' is a feminine abstract noun, deriving from the root ar-, "to allot," with a substantivizing -ta suffix, hence aši/arti "that which is granted." In the Avesta, the term implies both material and spiritual recompense.
Although conceptually older than Zoroastrianism, Ashi has no attested equivalent in Vedic Sanskrit. The late Middle Persian equivalent as attested in the Zoroastrian texts of the 9th-12th century is ard-, which is subject to confusion with another ard for aša- "truth".
In the younger Avesta, divinified Ashi is also referred to Ashi Vanuhi or Ashi Vanghuhi (Aši vaηuhī, nominative Ašiš vaηuhī "Good Reward"), the Middle Persian equivalent of which is Ahrishwang (Ahrišwang). Ashi is also attested as a dvandvah compound as Ashi Vanghuhi-Parendi.
Samurai Jack is an American action-adventure chanbara animated series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series follows Jack, a time-displaced samurai, in his singular quest to travel back in time and defeat the tyrannical demon Aku. The series is known for its cinematic atmosphere, masking-based animation style, and battle scenes which pay homage to samurai films.
Tartakovsky drew from a number of influences when creating the series, including the 1970s series Kung Fu, classic anime, and the works of directors Akira Kurosawa and David Lean. The series premiered on August 10, 2001, with a TV movie called The Premiere Movie. The series ended on September 25, 2004, after airing 52 episodes.
Samurai Jack has since garnered high critical acclaim. It won 4 Primetime Emmy Awards, 6 Annie Awards and 1 OIAF Award, as well as eight additional nominations. All four seasons have been released on DVD by Warner Home Video.

Jack may refer to:
Samurai (侍) were the military-nobility and officer-caste of medieval and early-modern Japan.
In Japanese, they are usually referred to as bushi (武士, [bu.ɕi]) or buke (武家). According to translator William Scott Wilson: "In Chinese, the character 侍 was originally a verb meaning "to wait upon" or "accompany persons" in the upper ranks of society, and this is also true of the original term in Japanese, saburau. In both countries the terms were nominalized to mean "those who serve in close attendance to the nobility", the pronunciation in Japanese changing to saburai. According to Wilson, an early reference to the word "samurai" appears in the Kokin Wakashū (905–914), the first imperial anthology of poems, completed in the first part of the 10th century.
By the end of the 12th century, samurai became almost entirely synonymous with bushi, and the word was closely associated with the middle and upper echelons of the warrior class. The samurai were usually associated with a clan and their lord, were trained as officers in military tactics and grand strategy, and they followed a set of rules that later came to be known as the bushidō. While the samurai numbered less than 10% of then Japan's population, their teachings can still be found today in both everyday life and in modern Japanese martial arts.

I actually wanted Ashi to fight the High Priestess since the first episode of Season 5.
Since the start of Samurai Jack season 5, Ashi definitely seems to be the most intriguing of the few new characters that were introduced since episode one. The Daughters of Aku are interesting enough themselves, but the emphasis that is being put on Ashi leads us to believe that she will play a major role in Samurai Jacks's finale. Will she end up befriending our hero? Or will she be the reason Jack's demise, fulfilling the desires of Aku? I don't own anything I don't claim anything breaking free from Aku's control Ashi stands up against the demon season five episode ten - Samurai Jack
Now it's too late to be using my mind
To reason with you would be far too kind
It's all coming down like the dark on the town
The cold stings my tearstained face
So now it's all over, it's much too late to say 'Oh no'
I try not to echo everyone's dream
But they don't exist or so it seems
They just live inside of me
But it's too dark I can never ever see you
And now it's all over, it's much too late to say 'Oh no'
Oh, she looked so lovely, standing on her own
Oh, she looked so lonely, standing all alone
She looked at me as she closed the door
A stare so cold, but what for?
I fell in love as she crossed the floor
I need her now but she hates me more
And now it's all over, it's much too late to say 'Oh no'
Oh, she looked so lovely, standing on her own
Oh, she looked so lonely, standing all alone
Oh, she left me lonely, standing on my own
She takes her pass so quickly
